St James's Church, New Malden

New Malden High Street is a 1 km-long high street in New Malden, the centre of the suburb that grew up around New Malden railway station in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, now part of south west London.

New Malden is an area in South West London, England. It is located within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the London Borough of Merton, and is 9.4 miles (15.1 km) from Charing Cross. Neighbouring localities include Kingston, Norbiton, Raynes Park, Surbiton, Tolworth, Wimbledon and Worcester Park. Prior to the creation of Greater London in 1965, New Malden was in the administrative county of Surrey.

Coombe Boys' School and Sixth Form is a non-selective state secondary school with a mixed sixth form in New Malden, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, England. The cohort comprises boys from Years 7 to 11 and a joint sixth form facility is offered for Year 12 and 13 students. The school was founded in 1931 (as Beverley Central School) and celebrated its 90th Anniversary in 2021. In 2006, the school federated with Coombe Girls' School and Sixth Form forming part of the Coombe Academy Trust and has a long-standing educational partnership with the independent King's College School, Wimbledon. Coombe Boys' School is part of the Kingston Teaching School Alliance, a partnership of over twenty schools, Achieving for Children (AfC) and two higher education institutions; the UCL Institute of Education (University of London) and the University of Roehampton. In February 2023, it was announced that large parts of the school buildings are to be demolished and replaced in a major re-building programme.

Malden and Coombe was a local government district in Surrey, England from 1866 to 1965. New Malden Local Government District was formed in 1866 under the Local Government Act 1858 from part of the ancient parish of Kingston upon Thames. It was governed by a local board of 12 members.

Old Malden is a ward of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in south London, 10 miles (16 km) south west of Charing Cross. Malden Manor is an alternative name for part of Old Malden, popularised by the railway company that made up this name for its station here.

The Holy Cross School is a Roman Catholic secondary school with academy status for girls located in New Malden, in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, England. The school specialises in science, and converted to academy status on 1 August 2012. Most Year 11 girls apply to the small sixth form. Together with its federated brother school Richard Challoner, it operates a coeducational sixth form which is also open to applicants from other schools. The school has just under 1000 pupils attending in total.

New Malden Town Hall was a municipal building in High Street, New Malden, London.

New Malden War Memorial is a Grade II listed war memorial in the town of New Malden, Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, England, commemorating local victims of the First and Second World Wars. Situated in the High Street of New Malden, in front of the erstwhile New Malden Town Hall now owned by Waitrose, New Malden War Memorial comprises a three-tiered cenotaph on a pedestal and two-stepped base.The memorial was unveiled in a public ceremony on 8 November 1924 by Private F. Jackson of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, who was blinded during the First World War. It was slightly damaged on 16 October 1940 after a bomb fell within 20 feet (6.1 m) of the memorial during the Blitz. The memorial was rededicated in 1952 to honour New Malden soldiers who died during the Second World War, with more names added on 3 May 1998 in a ceremony hosted by Councillor Chrissie Hitchcock. On 27 July 2014, a new plaque was added to commemorate the centenary of the first World War. It was listed at Grade II by Historic England on 15 March 2017.

New Malden railway station is in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in south London. It is 9 miles 62 chains (15.7 km) south-west of London Waterloo. The station is served by South Western Railway, and is in Travelcard Zone 4.

Malden Manor railway station, in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in south London is one of the stations on the Chessington Branch Line, part of the London suburban network of South Western Railway, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. It is 11 miles 5 chains (17.8 km) down the line from London Waterloo. Like all others on the branch, the station is built in the concrete style of the 1930s (see external link); it was designed by James Robb Scott and opened on 29 May 1938. South-west of the station is a three-span, 140 ft (42m) viaduct over the Hogsmill River, a tributary of the River Thames. Both platforms were extended to take ten-coach trains on 8 May 2014.

Christ Church is an evangelical Church located in the suburb of New Malden in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, Greater London. Established on 3 December 1866, Christ Church is part of the Church of England, and is located in the Kingston Episcopal Area of the Diocese of Southwark. As of August 2022, Christ Church claims a weekly attendance of 750. The current vicar is Stephen Kuhrt, serving since 2007. New Malden was a speedily growing town, with its first seven residential streets built throughout the late 1850s. On 17 November 1865, Charles Stirling, first vicar of Christ Church, proposed its construction to the New Malden Local Board, with the opening and consecration of Christ Church taking place on 3 December 1866. The Church was enlarged with a new chancel and sacristy on 23 February 1878. On 12 November 1892, Stirling retired as vicar. Another extension to the church was built in 1966, with said hall later being demolished and replaced with a new entrance and new halls between 2017 and October 2018.

Beverley Park is a public park situated in the New Malden area of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in south-western London, England. It is the location where the Pyl Brook joins the Beverley Brook.
