Villeparisis (French pronunciation: [vilpaʁizi] ) is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the north-eastern suburbs of Paris 21.8 km (13.5 mi) from the centre. Inhabitants of Villeparisis are called Villeparisiens.

Villeparisis–Mitry-le-Neuf station is an RER station between Mitry-Mory and Villeparisis in northeast Paris, in Seine-et-Marne department, France. The station is in Zone 5 of the Carte orange. It is on the RER B suburban railway line.

The Canal de l'Ourcq (French pronunciation: [kanal də luʁk]) is a 108.1 km (67.2 mi) long canal in the Île-de-France region (greater Paris) with 10 locks. It was built at a width of 3.20 m (10.5 ft) but was enlarged to 3.7 m (12 ft), which permitted use by more pleasure boats. The canal begins at Port-aux-Perches near the village of Troesnes, where it splits from the channeled river Ourcq, and flows to the Bassin de la Villette, where it joins the Canal Saint-Martin. Paris requires 380,000 cubic metres (84,000,000 imp gal; 100,000,000 US gal) of water daily for cleaning the sewer system, gutters, and parks. The Canal de l'Ourcq provides about half of the requirement. Since 1983, the waterway has been designated for use by pleasure craft, and its water is designated for non-drinking uses.The canal is considered part of the 130 km (81 mi) Parisian canal network, along with the Canal Saint-Denis, the bassin de la Villette, and the Canal Saint-Martin. The canals were created as part of the administrative management of water in Paris during the nineteenth century.

The Fort de Vaujours, located in the commune of Courtry, Seine-Saint-Denis, near the town of Vaujours, is one of the forts built at the end of the 19th century to defend Paris. It became a research center for the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique (CEA), France's Atomic Energy Commission. The center was closed in 1997.

Mitry-Mory (French pronunciation: [mitʁi mɔʁi] ) is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the north-eastern suburbs of Paris 24.4 km (15.2 mi) from the center just off the N2 national highway. About one-sixth of Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) (essentially runways and taxiways) lies on the territory of the commune of Mitry-Mory—mostly at the end of the runway. The construction of CDG caused the closure of the prewar Mitry-Mory airfield in the late 1960s. From the air, the most prominent feature, aside from farmland, is the Great circle (or round-about) of Rue de la Garenne, a feature which forms a wagon wheel like structure with spokes forming a cross in which a crucifix building is surrounded by another inter-circle round-about. It is also a major railroad centre. Another very prominent feature is a huge parking lot for such a small commune. Many of the streets and roads are named for famous people: Mozart, Guy-Lussac, Léon Foucault, Berlioz, Picasso, Gauguin among others — some of whom actually visited there. Mitry-Mory is very convenient to Paris and a less expensive place to live for those who work in Paris but prefer the commute by train or road.

Mitry–Claye station is a railway station near Paris, France. It is in the commune of Mitry-Mory, and also serves nearby Claye-Souilly. It is served by regional Transilien trains and the Paris RER trains, so is an important transit point.

Tremblay-en-France (French pronunciation: [tʁɑ̃blɛ ɑ̃ fʁɑ̃s] ; lit. 'Tremblay in France') is a commune in the north-eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 19.5 km (12.1 mi) from the centre of Paris. More than one-quarter of Charles de Gaulle Airport lies within the territory of the commune of Tremblay-en-France, in particular terminals 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D (the other terminals lie in the territory of other communes). It is the largest, by area, of the so-called petite couronne (inner ring) suburbs of Paris. The corporate head office of Air France and OEMServices lie within Tremblay.
