Hibiya Public Hall

The Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall (Japanese: 日比谷野外音楽堂, Hepburn: Hibiya Yagai Ongakudō) is an outdoor theater in Tokyo, Japan's Hibiya Park. There are actually two concert halls; the smaller was erected during the Meiji era, and the bigger was first built in the Taishō era. The larger venue is colloquially abbreviated to "Yaon" (野音).

The Mizuho Bank Uchisaiwaichō Head Office Building (みずほ銀行内幸町本部ビル, Mizuho Ginkō Uchisaiwaichō Honbu Biru) is a 143 m (469 ft) tall office skyscraper in Tokyo, Japan. At 38 stories the building is the 86th tallest building in Tokyo. It contains 1.4 million sq ft (134,974 m²) of office space, 100% of which is now occupied by Mizuho Bank, the consumer banking arm of the second-largest Japanese financial conglomerate Mizuho Financial Group, while still called the DKB Head Office from time to time. The building was built in Chiyoda at 1 Uchisaiwaichō in 1981, when it was called the Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank Head Office Building. It was designed by architects Yoshinobu Ashihara & Partners and developed by Shimizu Corporation, one of the “big five” real estate developers in Japan. Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (“DKB”) combined with Fuji Bank and the Industrial Bank of Japan in 2000 to form Mizuho Financial Group.

Hibiya Park (日比谷公園 Hibiya Kōen) is a park in Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan. It covers an area of 161,636.66 m2 (40 acres) between the east gardens of the Imperial Palace to the north, the Shinbashi district to the southeast and the Kasumigaseki government district to the west.

The International Nuclear Energy Development of Japan Co., Ltd (JINED) (国際原子力開発株式会社, Kokusai Genshiryoku Kaihatsu Kabushiki-gaisha), headquartered in Tokyo, is a consortium of thirteen Japanese companies, with the prime purpose of "proposal and research activities for nuclear power plant project orders in emerging countries". The thirteen-member consortium was established on 22 October 2010, and its members consist of nine Japanese power companies (Tokyo Electric Power Co, Kansai, Chubu, Hokkaido, Tohoku, Hokuriku, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu), and three Japanese nuclear power-related manufacturers (Toshiba, Hitachi, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries). The thirteenth member is a joint venture between the Japanese government and industry, Innovation Network of Japan (INCJ).

Uchisaiwaicho Station (内幸町駅, Uchisaiwaichō-eki) is a railway station on the Toei Mita Line in Uchisaiwaichō, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Its station number is I-07.

The Rokumeikan (鹿鳴館, "Banqueting House") was a large two-story building in Tokyo, completed in 1883, which became a controversial symbol of Westernisation in the Meiji period. Commissioned for the housing of foreign guests by the Foreign Minister Inoue Kaoru, it was designed by British architect Josiah Conder, a prominent Western adviser working in Japan. Although the Rokumeikan's heyday was brief, it became famous for its parties and balls, which introduced many high-ranking Japanese to Western manners for the first time, and it is still a fixture in the cultural memory of Japan. It was, however, largely used for the accommodation of guests of the government, and for meetings between Japanese who had already lived abroad. Its reputation as a center of dissipation is largely exaggerated.

The Imperial Hotel (帝国ホテル, teikoku hoteru) is a hotel in Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda ward, Tokyo. It was created in the late 1880s at the request of the Japanese aristocracy to cater to the increasing number of Western visitors to Japan. The hotel site is located just south of the Imperial Palace grounds, next to the previous location of the Palace moat. The modern hotel overlooks the Palace, the 40-acre (16 ha) Western-style Hibiya Park, and the Yurakucho and Ginza neighborhoods.Three main buildings have stood on the hotel site, each of which embodied the finest Western design of its era. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (厚生労働省, Kōsei-rōdō-shō) is a cabinet level ministry of the Japanese government. It is commonly known as Kōrō-shō (厚労省) in Japan. The ministry provides services on health, labour and welfare. It was formed with the merger of the former Ministry of Health and Welfare or Kōsei-shō (厚生省) and the Ministry of Labour or Rōdō-shō (労働省). The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare is a member of the Cabinet and is chosen by the Prime Minister, typically from among members of the Diet.

The Ministry of the Environment (環境省, Kankyō-shō) is a Cabinet-level ministry of the government of Japan responsible for global environmental conservation, pollution control, and nature conservation. The ministry was formed in 2001 from the sub-cabinet level Environmental Agency established in 1971. The Minister of the Environment is a member of the Cabinet of Japan and is chosen by the Prime Minister, usually from among members of the Diet.In March 2006, the then-Minister of the Environment Yuriko Koike, created a furoshiki cloth to promote its use in the modern world.In August 2011, the Cabinet of Japan approved a plan to establish a new energy watchdog under the Environment Ministry, and the Nuclear Regulation Authority was founded on September 19, 2012.

The Nissay Theatre (日生劇場, Nissei Gekijō) is a theatre in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It is located in the Nissay Hibiya Building, designed by the architect Togo Murano. It was completed in 1963 and opened with a performance by the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Since then it has been used to stage productions of the performing arts, Kabuki, operas, and musicals. For many years, until the company acquired its first permanent theater, it staged numerous productions by the Shiki Theatre Company.

Tokyo Takarazuka Theater (東京宝塚劇場, Tōkyō Takarazuka Gekijō) is another home for Takarazuka Creative Arts in Yurakucho, Chiyoda ward, Tokyo. It served as the second round performing theater for the Revue's performing cycle. The original theater was built in 1934. It was taken over by the American GHQ after the defeat of Japan in 1945 and renamed the "Ernie Pyle Theater" from 1945–55. It was demolished in 1998. The current theater was built in 2001. It has 1,229 seats on the first level and 840 on the second.

Tokyo Midtown Hibiya (東京ミッドタウン日比谷, Tōkyō Middotaun Hibiya) is a 190,000-square-meter (2.0 million sq ft) mixed-use development in Yurakucho, Tokyo, Japan. Completed in March 2018, the project includes office, commercial, and dining and entertainment facilities.The project site overlooks Hibiya Park on a site previously occupied by the Showa era Sanshin Building. The primary developer is Mitsui Fudosan, working in concert with several partners. The same developer owns and operates the larger Tokyo Midtown (東京ミッドタウン) multipurpose project in Tokyo’s Roppongi neighbourhood. The building’s concave glass exterior facing Hibiya Park produces noticeable solar glare onto the streets immediately to the south of the building echoing one of the design flaws of London’s 20 Fenchurch Street skyscraper.
