The El Paso and Southwestern Railroad Depot is a historic building in Tucson, Arizona. It was designed in the Classical Revival style, and built in 1912 by the Phelps-Dodge Corporation. It was used as a railroad depot until 1924. In 1978, it was remodelled as a restaurant. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 12, 2004.

The Tucson Inn is a motel located in Tucson, Arizona, in an area now known as the Miracle Mile Historic District. The motel was built in 1953 in the Googie architecture and Modernist style, and is an example of historic 1950s Mid-century modern highway motel architecture. Intended to attract tourists and overnight motorists crossing the country on U.S. Route 80 and U.S. Route 89, the building was one of Tucson's largest motor hotels when it was constructed. The luxury inn was designed by Anne Jackson Rysdale, the only registered female architect in Arizona at the time. The architecture typifies classic, clean modernism paired with the boisterous exuberance of midcentury industrial design as exemplified by the monumental neon sign. Amenities enhanced the attractiveness of its sixty-five guest rooms, included a heated swimming pool, formal restaurant, and a diner/coffee shop. The construction of Interstate 10 and the subsequent additional off-ramp exits reduced the relevance and robust economic power of Miracle Mile. Nevertheless, the Tucson Inn and its iconic neon sign survived the corridor's decline.

Dinnerware Artspace is a non-profit art space located in Tucson, Arizona, United States. Not only is it an art exhibition space, but it also provides full range of artist services. In 1979, before Tucson had an arts district, Dinnerware established an artist presence on Congress Street. Today, it continues to be the cornerstone of the contemporary art scene in downtown Tucson. Dinnerware exhibits work from first-time, emerging, and established area artists. Dinnerware Artspace is currently located at 119 E. Toole in Tucson, Arizona, and has grown into a community art center. Included is the Central Arts Gallery (an artist run art collective), Dinnerware Press(a printmaking collective), YOGAnomics (a yoga collective), Dinnerware Photo (photo darkroom collective), Jewelry, Ceramics, Fashion, Framing, and provides assistance for artists wanting to sell online at Etsy.com. Dinnerware provides classes, workshops, lectures, and events in these areas as well. Annual exhibits include Salon des Refuse, Night of 1,000 Drawings, Pollos del Pueblo and a number of theme group exhibits. Events include semi annual fashion shows, IGNITE Tucson, and Snakebite Film Festival with more always in the planning stages. Dinnerware relies on support from public participation of its projects and draws large audiences to its various exhibitions and innovative events.

The Desert Laboratory is a historic biological research facility atop Tumamoc Hill (O'odham: Cemamagĭ Doʼag) at 1675 West Anklam Road in Tucson, Arizona. It was founded by the Carnegie Institution in 1903 to study how plants survive and thrive in the heat and aridity of deserts, and was the first such privately funded effort in the nation. Beginning in 1906, numerous long term ecological observation areas were set up by Volney Spalding & Forrest Shreve on the 860 acres (3.5 km2) scientific domain of Tumamoc Hill. Nine of these are the world's oldest permanent ecology study quadrats. The facility and staff were key contributors to what is now considered the science of ecology, including participating in the creation of the Ecological Society of America in 1915 and the Ecology journal. Led by Spalding & Shreve, they also contributed innovations in conservation. Part of it was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1965. The rest was added in 1987.

Cordova House (also known as La Casa Cordova) is a historic adobe house at 140 N. Main Avenue. It is possibly the oldest house in Tucson, Arizona, and one of the oldest surviving houses in Arizona. Cordova House was believed to have been built of adobe around the time of the Gadsden Purchase in 1848 with the back two rooms being constructed first. Cordova House was owned by the Cordova family from 1936 to 1972. It is the site of Maria Luisa Tena's "El Nacimiento," the oldest and longest running Nativity display in the Southwest. Cordova House is also the site of a display about Cordova House's relationship within the context of 1960s urban renewal. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The building is currently part of the Tucson Museum of Art.
