Old Growth (New/Now) is a large scale exterior public art installation by architect and artist Alison Wright. It is located opposite to the Culver City Metro Station.Electric poles and cross arms support 56 pieces of glass. Historic images from the archives of Southern California Edison and the Culver City Historical Society are placed on one side of the glass. The glass panels on the other side form a Douglas Fir tree, a type of tree that wood utility poles originated from. Unlike typical utility poles, these 40’ tall poles are not connected by power lines. The glass panels are backlit by solar energy via solar panels.

Culver City station is an elevated light rail station on the E Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is located on a dedicated right-of-way alongside Exposition Boulevard — between the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard on the west and the intersection of Washington Boulevard and National Boulevard on the east. The station is located in the city of Culver City, California, after which the station is named. The station served as the western terminus of the line from its opening on June 20, 2012, until the opening of the extension of the line to Santa Monica on May 20, 2016.

Ivy Substation (also known as the Ivy Park Substation or Culver Substation) is a 99-seat theatre in Culver City, California which formerly housed power equipment for the nearby electric railways and Ivy station. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

RKO Forty Acres was a film studio backlot in the United States, owned by RKO Pictures (and later Desilu Productions), located in Culver City, California. Best known as Forty Acres and "the back forty," it was also called "Desilu Culver," the "RKO backlot," and "Pathé 40 Acre Ranch," depending on which studio owned the property at the time. For nearly 50 years it was known for its outdoor full-scale sets, such as Western Street, Atlanta Street, and Main Street and was used in many films (including King Kong (1933) and Gone with the Wind (1939)) and television series (such as Bonanza and Star Trek).The property was a triangular parcel of 28.5 acres (11.5 ha), a few blocks from RKO-Pathe (later Selznick, Desilu-Culver, now "The Culver Studios") which was situated to the west. It was bounded by Higuera Street to the north, West Jefferson Boulevard, Ballona Creek and Culver City Park to the south, and Lucerne Avenue to the west. In 1976 it was razed for redevelopment. Today it is known as the southern expansion of the Hayden Industrial Tract. A number of the buildings in the industrial park have been converted to television studios. One of the shows produced at the park is Hell's Kitchen.

The Citizens Publishing Company Building is a historic building in Culver City, California, U.S.. It was built in 1929. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since February 12, 1987. It is currently home to Citizen Public Market.

The Culver Studios is a film studio in Culver City, California. Originally created by silent movie pioneer Thomas H. Ince, classics from Hollywood's Golden Age were filmed there. It is currently owned by Hackman Capital Partners, which completely modernized the lot — more than doubling its size — for next-generation entertainment, while preserving the site's historic structures. The studios have operated under a multitude of names: Ince Studio (1918-1925), De Mille Studios (1925–1928), Pathé Studios (1928–1931), RKO-Pathé Studios (1931–1935), Selznick International Pictures (1935–1956), Desilu-Culver Studios (1956–1970), Culver City Studios (1970–1977), and Laird International Studios (1977–1986). Through all these name changes, the site was also commonly called "40 Acres" by entertainment industry insiders, although it was never actually 40 acres (16 hectares) in size.Many classics from Hollywood's Golden Age were filmed there, including Gone with the Wind (1939), A Star is Born (1937), Intermezzo (1939) and Rebecca (1940).The Culver Studios was also used for television shows such as The Andy Griffith Show, Lassie, Batman, The Nanny and, more recently, Scrubs, Arrested Development and Cougar Town.Eccentric businessman Howard Hughes once had a stake in the studio as well as filmmakers Cecil B. DeMille and David O. Selznick.

Rocha House is a historic site in Los Angeles, California, that was designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #13 in 1963. It is located in Reynier Village in Mid-City, Los Angeles. Originally part of Rancho Rincón de Los Bueyes, the land on which the house sits was conveyed to the son of the owner of Rancho La Brea in 1872. The Rocha House, sometimes called La Casa de Rocha, was built prior to the transfer, in 1865, by Don Antonio José Rocha II. The original house has a square “ground plan” and a “gringo stairway”; there have been multiple additions.As of 1966, three years after the site was designated a historic-cultural monument, “This quaint landmark, still showing evidence of its romantic past, is the home of a descendant of a descendant of Antonio José Rocha.” It remains a private home.

Walter Maciel Gallery is an art gallery founded in 2005, located at 2642 S. La Cienega Boulevard, in the Culver City Arts District in Los Angeles, California, United States. Walter Maciel worked as a gallery director in San Francisco for fourteen years before he moved to Southern California and opened his own space. Maciel has served on many boards and committees, including Southern Exposure, Headlands Center for the Arts, Hospitality House in San Francisco, and the San Francisco Art Dealers Association. He has been on lecture panels at UCLA, the San Francisco Art Institute, California College of the Arts, UC Berkeley, Pacific Northwest College of Art, University of Missouri, Kansas City, Ulrich Museum of Art, Wichita State University, Wichita, KS and the Institute of Contemporary Art, San Jose.Walter Maciel Gallery shows emerging and established contemporary artists in mediums ranging from painting and sculpture to conceptual photography and video. China Art Objects Galleries is a contemporary art gallery co-founded by a group of artists in Los Angeles in 1999. Founder Steve Hanson moved the gallery to Mérida, Mexico in 2021.
