China Art Objects Galleries is a contemporary art gallery co-founded by a group of artists in Los Angeles in 1999. Founder Steve Hanson moved the gallery to Mérida, Mexico in 2021.

3rd Street in Los Angeles is a major east–west thoroughfare. The west end is in downtown Beverly Hills by Santa Monica Boulevard, and the east is at Alameda Street in downtown Los Angeles, where it shares a one-way couplet with 4th Street. East of Alameda it becomes 4th Street, where it heads to East Los Angeles, where it turns back into 3rd Street upon crossing Indiana Street. 3rd Street eventually becomes Pomona Boulevard in Monterey Park, where it then turns into Potrero Grande Drive and finally turns into Rush Street in Rosemead and ends in El Monte.3rd Street passes along the south side of The Grove and "The Original" Farmers Market at Fairfax Avenue, near the headquarters of The Writers Guild of America, West. There are also many other restaurants, boutiques, and antique stores on this specific strip of 3rd Street, which is less upscale and more relaxed than nearby Robertson Boulevard and Melrose Avenue.3rd Street is parallel to two other major thoroughfares, Wilshire Boulevard to the south and Beverly Boulevard to the north. It is four lanes wide east of Doheny Drive, and it passes through the same communities as Wilshire Boulevard.

The Toddle House was a night club that operated from approximately 1946 until 1953 in Culver City, California, United States. It featured live music, steak dinners, and what would now be called strippers. The club was allegedly used for prostitution and as a hangout for racketeers. Shortly after the club's liquor license was suspended by the state and operating permit was revoked by the city, the building was gutted by two fires that broke out in different locations within the structure on the same morning.

Rocha House is a historic site in Los Angeles, California, that was designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #13 in 1963. It is located in Reynier Village in Mid-City, Los Angeles. Originally part of Rancho Rincón de Los Bueyes, the land on which the house sits was conveyed to the son of the owner of Rancho La Brea in 1872. The Rocha House, sometimes called La Casa de Rocha, was built prior to the transfer, in 1865, by Don Antonio José Rocha II. The original house has a square “ground plan” and a “gringo stairway”; there have been multiple additions.As of 1966, three years after the site was designated a historic-cultural monument, “This quaint landmark, still showing evidence of its romantic past, is the home of a descendant of a descendant of Antonio José Rocha.” It remains a private home.

Helms Bakery was an industrial bakery on the border of Los Angeles and Culver City, in Southern California, that operated from 1931 to 1969. Currently the buildings have been adapted for use as retail shops, restaurants, and furniture showrooms; the complex is part of what is now called the Helms Bakery District.

La Cienega/Jefferson station is an elevated light rail station on the E Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is over the intersection of La Cienega Boulevard and Jefferson Boulevard, after which the station is named, in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw and West Adams neighborhoods of Los Angeles. The station briefly served as the western terminus of the E Line between the opening of the line on April 28, 2012, and the completion of the Culver City station on June 20, 2012.

Reynier Village is a neighborhood on the Westside of Los Angeles, California. The Reynier Village neighborhood was known as Reynier Park in the 1920s and 1930s although the actual city park was not established until the late 1970s. For many years, real estate agents had called the area "Beverlywood adjacent" or "south Robertson" (the name of the neighborhood council, which encompasses several neighborhoods including Reynier Village).

The Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies is a public university preparatory secondary school located on 18th Street between La Cienega Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in the Faircrest Heights district of Los Angeles, California, on the former site of Louis Pasteur Middle School. LACES, which serves grades 6 through 12, is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). The current principal of LACES is Kimberly Lesure. LACES is a magnet school (the first in LAUSD) and enrolls students from the entire district (selected by a weighted lottery process), many of them coming to school by bus. Students are encouraged to take multiple Advanced Placement Courses, and all students are required to take at least one, AP World History, in 10th grade. The school has one of the highest API index ratings in LAUSD. In 1998, Los Angeles magazine described LACES as "the patriarch of all LAUSD magnets" with "a waiting list stretching into infinity."The school has been named as a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon School. LACES is frequently ranked among the top high schools in the nation, according to various measures. LACES has consistently ranked high in the Challenge Index rankings created by Washington Post columnist Jay Mathews. In 2003, it was ranked 11th in the nation among public schools. This ranking was devised by calculating the total number of Advanced Placement courses taken by the graduating class and dividing it by that class. In California, LACES ranked number 17. In 2014, LACES ranked first on the Challenge Index among all schools (public and private) in Los Angeles, 5th in California, and 41st nationally. Also in 2014, U.S. News & World Report noted LACES as a "Gold Medal" school, ranking first among LAUSD schools, 19th in the state, and 112th in the nation.

Old Growth (New/Now) is a large scale exterior public art installation by architect and artist Alison Wright. It is located opposite to the Culver City Metro Station.Electric poles and cross arms support 56 pieces of glass. Historic images from the archives of Southern California Edison and the Culver City Historical Society are placed on one side of the glass. The glass panels on the other side form a Douglas Fir tree, a type of tree that wood utility poles originated from. Unlike typical utility poles, these 40’ tall poles are not connected by power lines. The glass panels are backlit by solar energy via solar panels.

Alexander Hamilton High School, also known as just Hamilton High School is a public high school in the Castle Heights neighborhood within the Westside of Los Angeles, California, United States. It is in the Los Angeles Unified School District. It was established in 1931.

Culver City station is an elevated light rail station on the E Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. The station is located on a dedicated right-of-way alongside Exposition Boulevard — between the intersection of Venice Boulevard and Robertson Boulevard on the west and the intersection of Washington Boulevard and National Boulevard on the east. The station is located in the city of Culver City, California, after which the station is named. The station served as the western terminus of the line from its opening on June 20, 2012, until the opening of the extension of the line to Santa Monica on May 20, 2016.
