Noor-A-Madina Ahle Sunnat Mosque is a Sunni Islam mosque in Blackpool, Lancashire, England.

Blackpool South railway station serves the suburban south of the popular seaside resort of Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It is the terminus of the South Fylde Line 12+1⁄4 miles (19.7 km) west of Kirkham and Wesham by rail, though all services run through from Preston. It lies only a short walk from Blackpool Football Club's stadium at Bloomfield Road. The station is managed by Northern Trains, who operate all trains serving it. Blackpool South is located about 500 metres (1,600 ft) from Waterloo Road tram stop on the Blackpool Tramway.

South Shore railway station was originally the only intermediate station on the Blackpool and Lytham Railway, at South Shore in Lancashire, England, when it opened in 1863.In 1903 it was renamed South Shore Lytham Road. In that same year the express Marton Line from Kirkham was built with a new Waterloo Road railway station at its junction with the Lytham line. The new station was just 300 yards (300 m) north of Lytham Road station, whose days were then numbered, closing in 1916.

Arnold School was an independent school in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, established on the Fylde coast in 1896 during the Victorian expansion of public boarding schools in England. The school was in the United Church Schools Trust group of schools and was a long-standing member of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference. In September 2012, Arnold School merged with King Edward VII and Queen Mary School in Lytham St Annes to form Arnold KEQMS (now AKS Lytham), and from September 2013 the new school was fully co-located at the Lytham St Annes site.

Blackpool Football Club is a professional association football club based in the seaside town of Blackpool, Lancashire, England, which competes in EFL League One, the third tier of English football, following relegation from the 2022–23 EFL Championship. Founded in 1887, the club played home games at Raikes Hall and the Athletic Grounds before moving to Bloomfield Road in 1901. The club were founder members of the Lancashire League in 1889 and were invited into the Football League Second Division in 1896. They failed re-election in 1899 but had their Football League membership reinstated the following year. Blackpool remained in the Second Division until they won the league title in 1929–30, though they were relegated after three seasons in the First Division. Promoted again in 1936–37, the club entered a golden period under the stewardship of long-time manager Joe Smith. Blackpool lost the 1948 and 1951 FA Cup finals before winning the competition in 1953, in the so-called "Matthews Final", in which they beat Bolton Wanderers 4–3, overturning a 3–1 deficit in the closing stages of the game. That same year, four Blackpool players were in the England team which lost against Hungary at Wembley. In the 1950s they had four top-six finishes in the First Division, with their best position being runners-up to Manchester United in 1955–56. In 1956, Stanley Matthews was the inaugural recipient of the Ballon d'Or.Blackpool were relegated out of the First Division in 1967 and again in 1971 after winning promotion in 1969–70. They dropped into the fourth tier after suffering relegations in 1978 and 1981, then gained promotion in 1984–85. Between 1987 and 2019, the club was owned by the Oyston family. Nine years after buying the club, Owen Oyston was jailed for the 1992 rape and indecent assault of a 16-year-old girl. His wife, Vicki, took over the chairmanship of the club during her husband's three-year prison term. The couple's son, Karl, took over in 1999 and remained in the role for 19 years. In 2018, after the Oyston family was found, in a High Court judgement, to have operated an "illegitimate stripping" of the club, paying out £26.77 million to companies they owned, Owen relieved Karl of his role and gave it to his daughter, Natalie. In June 2019, Simon Sadler, a 49-year-old Blackpool-born businessman, bought a 96.2% share in the club, completely removing the Oyston family from any involvement.During the long years of Oyston ownership, Blackpool were relegated into the fourth tier in 1990, promoted via the play-offs in 1992, then relegated again in 2000. Blackpool reached the Premier League in 2010, after becoming the first club to gain promotion from every division of the Football League via the play-off system; they won the 2001 Third Division play-offs, 2007 League One play-offs and the 2010 Championship play-offs. They spent one season in the Premier League, under manager Ian Holloway, and later suffered a double relegation into League Two by 2016, though gained immediate promotion by winning the 2017 League Two play-off final – their sixth success in the format in eight finals.

Holy Trinity Church is an Anglican church in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. Completed in 1895, the present church replaced one from 1836. Designed by Richard Knill Freeman in the Decorated Gothic style, it has been designated a Grade II listed building by English Heritage. It is an active parish church in the Diocese of Blackburn, the archdeaconry of Lancaster and the deanery of Blackpool.

The Grand National is a wooden roller coaster located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, Lancashire in the United Kingdom. It was designed and constructed by American engineer Charles Paige in 1935 and is now one of two surviving wooden Möbius Loop roller coasters in the world (the other being the Racer at Kennywood). Grand National is the only surviving twin-track roller coaster in Britain in which two cars race against one another. This ride has an individual lap bar and seatbelts as the restraints.

Blue Flyer (formerly Zipper Dipper and Warburtons Milk Roll-A-Coaster) is a Wooden roller coaster at Nickelodeon Land, Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, England. It was built in 1934. It is believed to have been built by Charlie Paige. It is a family coaster. Blue Flyer operates with one train, which was built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters. The train is made up of 5 cars, each car seats 4 people in 2 rows, each row seating 2 people, making for a total of 20 people in the train.Blue Flyer is an ACE Coaster Classic. Pleasure Beach Resort closed Beaver Creek's Children Park in Autumn 2010. Zipper Dipper was rethemed and was transformed into Blue Flyer with the opening of Nickelodeon Land on 4 May 2011. The ride was designated as a Grade II listed building on 19 April 2017.

Nickelodeon Streak is a wooden out-and-back roller coaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, England. It was built in 1933 by Charles Paige and uses the lift hill and other parts of the former Velvet Coaster, which was removed in 1932. From 1933 to 2010 it was known simply as Roller Coaster however after Nickelodeon Land was announced the coaster was renamed and rethemed to Nickelodeon Streak. Now removed, a train from the Velvet Coaster used to be preserved on show in the station of Roller Coaster. It is currently the second tallest wooden coaster out of the four wooden coasters at Pleasure Beach Blackpool. Nickelodeon Streak has 3 cars per train, seating 8 people per car; 24 people per train. Before 2006, the trains had no restraints, however the newer trains currently used on the ride, taken from the Big Dipper have lap-bars. On 27 July 2010, Pleasure Beach Blackpool unveiled plans for the creation of Nickelodeon Land, to open in time for 2011 season. Roller Coaster has been "extensively re-themed" and now operates full-time as the "Nickelodeon Streak". As well as the major re-theme and modernisation, it has been repainted orange to fit the new Nickelodeon Land area, which has 12 rides.
