South Shore railway station was originally the only intermediate station on the Blackpool and Lytham Railway, at South Shore in Lancashire, England, when it opened in 1863.In 1903 it was renamed South Shore Lytham Road. In that same year the express Marton Line from Kirkham was built with a new Waterloo Road railway station at its junction with the Lytham line. The new station was just 300 yards (300 m) north of Lytham Road station, whose days were then numbered, closing in 1916.

The Grand National is a wooden roller coaster located at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, Lancashire in the United Kingdom. It was designed and constructed by American engineer Charles Paige in 1935 and is now one of two surviving wooden Möbius Loop roller coasters in the world (the other being the Racer at Kennywood). Grand National is the only surviving twin-track roller coaster in Britain in which two cars race against one another. This ride has an individual lap bar and seatbelts as the restraints.

Sandcastle Waterpark is an indoor waterpark with 18 water slides and other attractions in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. Sandcastle Waterpark is also home to slides such as the world's longest indoor roller-coaster water slide, the Master Blaster, and the first vertical indoor drop slide, the Sidewinder. Family attractions include the Ushi Gushi Action River, the Shimmering Shallows and the Typhoon Lagoon Wavepool. For younger people there is the Caribbean Storm Treehouse, an interactive adventure play area with a large tipping coconut. There are also a range of water cannons, mini slides and jets within the HMS Thundersplash and Fort Riptide areas.

Blackpool South railway station serves the suburban south of the popular seaside resort of Blackpool, Lancashire, England. It is the terminus of the South Fylde Line 12+1⁄4 miles (19.7 km) west of Kirkham and Wesham by rail, though all services run through from Preston. It lies only a short walk from Blackpool Football Club's stadium at Bloomfield Road. The station is managed by Northern Trains, who operate all trains serving it. Blackpool South is located about 500 metres (1,600 ft) from Waterloo Road tram stop on the Blackpool Tramway.

The High Tide Organ was a tidal organ 15 metres (49 ft 3 in) tall constructed in 2002 as part of "The Great Promenade Show" series of sculptures situated along Blackpool's New Promenade in the UK. It was removed in early 2022. The artwork, described as a "musical manifestation of the sea", is one of a few examples of a tidal organ; others include the San Francisco Wave Organ and the Sea Organ in Croatia.

Nickelodeon Streak is a wooden out-and-back roller coaster at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, England. It was built in 1933 by Charles Paige and uses the lift hill and other parts of the former Velvet Coaster, which was removed in 1932. From 1933 to 2010 it was known simply as Roller Coaster however after Nickelodeon Land was announced the coaster was renamed and rethemed to Nickelodeon Streak. Now removed, a train from the Velvet Coaster used to be preserved on show in the station of Roller Coaster. It is currently the second tallest wooden coaster out of the four wooden coasters at Pleasure Beach Blackpool. Nickelodeon Streak has 3 cars per train, seating 8 people per car; 24 people per train. Before 2006, the trains had no restraints, however the newer trains currently used on the ride, taken from the Big Dipper have lap-bars. On 27 July 2010, Pleasure Beach Blackpool unveiled plans for the creation of Nickelodeon Land, to open in time for 2011 season. Roller Coaster has been "extensively re-themed" and now operates full-time as the "Nickelodeon Streak". As well as the major re-theme and modernisation, it has been repainted orange to fit the new Nickelodeon Land area, which has 12 rides.

The Wild Mouse was a wooden roller coaster located in Blackpool Pleasure Beach which opened in 1958. It was one of only four remaining wooden Wild Mouse coasters left in the world as of the end of the 2017 season, and was held in very high regard as one of the finest and most extreme examples of Wild Mouse coasters. After remaining closed for the majority of the 2017 season, the ride was removed in January 2018 to make way for "future developments".

South Pier (originally known as Victoria Pier) is one of three piers in Blackpool, England. Located on South Promenade on the South Shore, the pier contains a number of amusement and adrenaline rides. It opens each year from March to November and is owned by The Sedgwick family.

Blue Flyer (formerly Zipper Dipper and Warburtons Milk Roll-A-Coaster) is a Wooden roller coaster at Nickelodeon Land, Blackpool Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, England. It was built in 1934. It is believed to have been built by Charlie Paige. It is a family coaster. Blue Flyer operates with one train, which was built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters. The train is made up of 5 cars, each car seats 4 people in 2 rows, each row seating 2 people, making for a total of 20 people in the train.Blue Flyer is an ACE Coaster Classic. Pleasure Beach Resort closed Beaver Creek's Children Park in Autumn 2010. Zipper Dipper was rethemed and was transformed into Blue Flyer with the opening of Nickelodeon Land on 4 May 2011. The ride was designated as a Grade II listed building on 19 April 2017.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an amusement park situated on Blackpool's South Shore, in the county of Lancashire, North West England. The park was founded in 1896 by A. W. G. Bean and his partner John Outhwaite. The current managing director is Amanda Thompson.The park is host to many records, including the largest collection of wooden roller coasters of any park in the United Kingdom with four: the Big Dipper, Blue Flyer, Grand National and Nickelodeon Streak. Many of the roller coasters in the park are record-breaking attractions. When it opened in 1994, The Big One was the tallest roller coaster in the world. It was also the steepest, with an incline angle of 65° and the second fastest with a top speed of 74 miles per hour (119 km/h). The ride holds the record as the tallest roller coaster in the United Kingdom, standing at 213 ft (65 m), with a first drop of 205 ft (62 m) and the longest roller coaster in Europe, with a track length of 5,497 ft (1,675 m).The park was the first in Europe to introduce a fully inverting steel coaster, Revolution and is the last remaining park in the world to still operate a Steeplechase roller coaster. The Grand National is one of only three Möbius loop coasters in existence, where a singular track "loops" around itself, offering a facsimile out-and-back layout and creating a "racing" effect on two parallel tracks. Sir Hiram Maxims Captive Flying Machine is the oldest amusement park ride in Europe having opened in August 1904. At the cost of £15 million, Valhalla was one of the largest and most expensive indoor dark rides in the world. Designed by Sarner and manufactured by Intamin, Valhalla won "Best Water Ride" at the 2018 Golden Ticket awards, an accolade it has held over a consecutive number of years. The park also operates a Nickelodeon Land and the world's only Wallace & Gromit ride, the Thrill-O-Matic. In 2015 the park introduced Red Arrows Sky Force, a Gerstlauer Sky Fly thrill ride which is the first ride of its kind in the United Kingdom. The latest record is taken by Icon, a multi-launch coaster manufactured by Mack Rides in Germany.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Express is a 21 in (533 mm) narrow gauge railway, built in 1933 as a tourist attraction at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Lancashire.

Beaver Creek was a children's amusement park inside Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It closed on 5 September 2010 when Managing Director Amanda Thompson announced that it would be working with Nickelodeon to bring the new Nickelodeon Land. Nickelodeon Land opened in Beaver Creek's place on 5 May 2011.Many of the rides have either been re-themed and put back into place, or moved into a different part of the park and later renamed. For example, Thor's Turnpike was moved to a different place in the park and renamed Alpine Rallye, same with Veteran Carousel, which is now known as Thompson's Carousel.
