Chatou (French: [ʃatu]) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. Chatou is a part of the affluent suburbs of western Paris and is on the northwest side of the Seine river about 14 km (9 mi) from the city's center.

The canton of Chatou is an administrative division of the Yvelines department, northern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Chatou.It consists of the following communes: Chatou Croissy-sur-Seine Marly-le-Roi Le Port-Marly Le Vésinet

Perceval School (French: École Perceval ) is a private school in Chatou, Yvelines, France. Established in 1957, it uses the Steiner-Waldorf teaching style. It serves levels preschool (maternelle) through upper school (lycée). As of 2016 it has about 400 students.

The MACS MTO (MACS : Musée d’Art et de Culture Soufis, Museum of Sufi Art and Culture) is the world’s first museum dedicated to Sufism and is located in Chatou, in Ile-de-France. The museum opened to the public in September 2024. MTO Shahmaghsoudi School of Islamic Sufism, an international non-profit organization, initiated the Museum Project. The Museum is housed in a 19th-century French urban mansion overlooking the Seine, with an on-site garden, and houses a rotating permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.

Ensemble Scolaire Le Bon Sauveur is a private school in Le Vésinet, Yvelines, France, in the Paris metropolitan area. It serves levels maternelle (preschool) through lycée (high school). It was established after 1928, when the Congregation of the Girls of Le Bon Sauveur of Caen received permission to establish a private catholic school for girls. In 1977 the establishment became secular and open to boys.

Croissy-sur-Seine (French pronunciation: ​[kʁwasi syʁ sɛn], literally Croissy on Seine) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is a suburban town on the western outskirts of Paris. Many expatriates reside in Croissy, given as it is the site of The British School of Paris, one of the top ten private international schools in the world. Croissy was Russia's base camp for Euro 2016, which ran from June 10 to July 10, 2016.

The IFP School (French: ENSPM - École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs) is a graduate engineering school located in Rueil-Malmaison, France. Founded in 1954, IFP School is part of the IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN), a French public-sector research and training center. The school graduates approximately 600 students per year in 20 graduate programs (10 in English), employing 40 regular professors and 350 instructors from industry.

Montesson (French pronunciation: ​[mɔ̃tesɔ̃]) is a commune in the Yvelines department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the western suburbs of Paris. Transport in Montesson is served by buses with T-tickets as well as by several Paris-suburban lines: Line 01, Line 04, Line 07, Line 19, Line 22. The bus tickets have a category called "Bus T" which is for occasional users and replaces the old tickets in the notebooks of the previous bus network. The T ticket is also valid on the entire metro (Paris and suburbs) on the RER lines of the RATP and the SNCF. It is sold for a single price of 1.70 € for a journey or 12.50 € for a book of 10. It can be purchased all around the Ile de France metro stations, RER stations, bus terminals, and RATP authorized dealers.

The Château de la Petite Malmaison is a French château from the 19th century in the town of Rueil-Malmaison in the Hauts-de-Seine department. It was built between 1803 and 1805 for Joséphine de Beauharnais, owner of the neighboring Château de Malmaison. It was a reception pavilion adjacent to a large greenhouse, since destroyed.
