Cavendish Square is a public garden square in Marylebone in the West End of London. It has a double-helix underground commercial car park. Its northern road forms ends of four streets: of Wigmore Street that runs to Portman Square in the much larger Portman Estate to the west; of Harley Street which runs an alike distance; of Chandos Street which runs for one block and; of Cavendish Place which runs the same. The south side itself is modern: the rear façade and accesses to a flagship department store and office block. On the ground floors facing are Comptoir Libanais, Royal Bank of Scotland and Pret a Manger premises. Oxford Circus 150m south-east is where two main shopping streets meet. Only the south is broken by a full-width street, Holles Street. which also runs one block only; the north is broken by Dean's Mews in which Nos. 11–13 exist, the office conversion of a nunnery, retaining a chapel in its rear. Planning permission was granted in April 2020 for a subterranean health and wellbeing development of 280,000 square feet across four storeys below ground level.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) is a registered trade union in the United Kingdom for those in the profession of nursing. It was founded in 1916, receiving its royal charter in 1928. Queen Elizabeth II was the patron until her death in 2022. The majority of members are registered nurses; however student nurses and healthcare assistants are also members. There is also a category of membership, at a reduced cost, for retired people. The RCN describes its mission as representing nurses and nursing, promoting excellence in practice and shaping health policies. It has a network of stewards, safety representatives and union learning representatives as well as advice services for members. Services include a main library in London and regional libraries around the country. The RCN Institute also provides courses for nurses.

Henrietta Place, originally known as Henrietta Street, is a street in Marylebone in the City of Westminster in central London that runs from Marylebone Lane in the east to Cavendish Square in the west. It is joined on the north side by Welbeck Street and Wimpole Street, and on the south side by Vere Street, Chapel Place, and Old Cavendish Street.

Harcourt House was a palatial residence built in about 1722 by Thomas Archer on Cavendish Square. The main structure was largely demolished in 1906 leaving only the southern wing on the corner with Margaret Street, now Flanders House. The southern wing of the building survives today as 1A Cavendish Square. The palladian residence Archer designed was the centre-piece of the west side of Cavendish Square, London for nearly two centuries. Archer's building was built for Robert Benson, 1st Baron Bingley, but was renamed to Harcourt House after it was bought by Simon Harcourt, 1st Viscount Harcourt. The house was significantly altered by his grandson Simon Harcourt, 1st Earl Harcourt. It was later the residence of William Cavendish-Scott-Bentinck, 5th Duke of Portland, Lord of the Manor of Marylebone, and John Campbell, 2nd Marquess of Breadalbane. The house was empty till 1906 when the centre and north of the house was demolished to make way for a development of luxury flats, also called Harcourt House. LaSalle Investment Management sold that building, occupying two thirds of the original site, to the Sunley Group in 2013. A 3D reconstruction of the original building was made by Survey of London in 2015.

Winged Figure (BH 315) is a 1963 sculpture by British artist Barbara Hepworth. One of Hepworth's best known works, it has been displayed in London since April 1963, on Holles Street near the junction with Oxford Street, mounted on the south-east side of the John Lewis department store. It is estimated that the sculpture is seen by approximately 200 million people each year. It was granted a Grade II* listing in January 2016.

The Embassy of Haiti in London is the diplomatic mission of Haiti in the United Kingdom. It is located in Swedenborg House in the Bloomsbury district. It was formerly located just off Cavendish Square in Marylebone in a Grade II listed building; the exterior has a blue plaque commemorating the architect George Edmund Street who lived in the building.

The Neilson–Terry Guild of Dramatic Art was a drama school at 17 Cavendish Square in London. In the 1930s it was run by the actress and playwright, Louise Regnis. Students included playwright Elizabeth FitzRoy, Kirsten Forssmann, Mary Joan (Mollie) Hammond, and Marjorie Johnstone. During World War II most of the school went to Bath, and the company was finally shut down in 1948.

How Does It Feel to Be Loved? (often abbreviated to HDIF) is a London-based nightclub which predominantly plays indie pop, Northern Soul and Motown music. On the club's website, founder Ian Watson explains: "We love pop, we love guitars that jangle, we love foot stomping melodies and huge choruses." The club's name is taken from the lyrics to The Velvet Underground song "Beginning to See the Light".

The London College of Fashion is a constituent college of the University of the Arts London, in London, England. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, short courses, study abroad courses and business-training in fashion, make-up, beauty-therapy and lifestyle industries. It is the only college in Britain to specialise in fashion education, research and consultancy. Its patron is Sophie, Countess of Wessex. The current head of college is Professor Andrew Teverson.
