Burchetts Green is a small village to the west of Maidenhead in the English county of Berkshire. It is half in the civil parish of Hurley and half in the civil parish of Bisham. According to the Post Office, in the 2011 census, the majority of the population was included in the civil parish of Bray. The Berkshire College of Agriculture is located there and includes Hall Place, which was built in 1728 by William East, a wealthy London lawyer. Burchetts Green School was originally built as a chapel in 1868 on land donated by the Clayton-East family. It is an infant school with around 50 pupils. There are three churches in the parish, as well as a Michelin starred pub, The Crown, which in 2017 was voted 10th in Estrella Damm's top 50 gastro pubs in the United Kingdom.

Carpenter's Wood is a 21.4-hectare (53-acre) Local Nature Reserve west of Maidenhead in Berkshire. It is owned by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and managed by The Woodland Trust.The site consists of two adjacent woods, Carpenter's Wood and Dungrovehill Wood. It lost half of its mature beech trees in the storms of 1987 and the early 1990s.There is access from Dungrovehill Lane.

Temple Golf Club is a golf club located in Hurley, Berkshire, England. It is about 2 miles northwest of Maidenhead. It was opened in 1910. The course was designed by Willie Park Jr. It is recognised for its scenic beauty and its emphasis on sustainable environmental management.

Park Wood and Goulding's Wood is a 35.3-hectare (87-acre) Local nature reserve north-west of Maidenhead in Berkshire, England. It is owned by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and managed by the Woodland Trust.This mature wood is mainly oak and beech on clay soils. There are several sequoia trees which were planted in the Victorian period. There are ponds and dells in the north of the site, which is dominated by rhododendrons.There is access from Marlow Road.

Bradnam Wood is a 12.5-hectare (31-acre) Local Nature Reserve west of Maidenhead in Berkshire. It is owned by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and managed by The Woodland Trust.This site has mature woodland at the northern end and more recently planted trees in the south. In the middle is a field which has chalk grassland plants and large anthills.There is access from Marlow Road.

White Waltham Airfield (ICAO: EGLM) is an operational general aviation aerodrome located at White Waltham, 2 nautical miles (3.7 km; 2.3 mi) southwest of Maidenhead, in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England. This large grass airfield is best known for its association with the Air Transport Auxiliary from 1940 to 1945 and also has a significant history of prewar flying training, wartime and postwar RAF use and postwar use as a flight test centre by the Fairey and Westland aircraft companies. In the mid-1950s it was HQ of RAF Home Command. It is now privately owned and is the home of the West London Aero Club.

Cookham was a rural district in Berkshire, England from 1894 to 1974. The district was formed by the Local Government Act 1894 as a successor to the Cookham rural sanitary district. It continued in existence until 1974, when it was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, forming part of the new Windsor and Maidenhead district.
