Caxias do Sul

The Municipal Museum of Caxias do Sul (Portuguese: Museu Municipal de Caxias do Sul) is a Brazilian historical, artistic, and ethnographic museum, located at 586 Visconde de Pelotas Street, in Caxias do Sul, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The municipal museum, besides permanently showing its own collection, offers monitored visits, a temporary exhibition room, itinerant exhibitions, and several heritage education projects.

Dante Alighieri Square is the oldest and most traditional public square in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, located in the center of the city. It was included in the colony's floor plan from the beginning of the territory's occupation and was the stage for many important events, having in its surroundings several historical buildings of great importance.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Caxias do Sul (Latin: Dioecesis Caxiensis Australis) is a diocese located in the city of Caxias do Sul in the Ecclesiastical province of Porto Alegre in Brazil. On Wednesday, 16 June 2010, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Auxiliary Bishop Alessandro Carmelo Ruffinoni, CS, then the auxiliary bishop to the Archbishop of Porto Alegre, as the Coadjutor Bishop of Caxias do Sul, to succeed Bishop Moretto.

The Clube Juvenil headquarters are located in the Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It was built in 1928 and listed as a municipal heritage site in 2007.

The Colégio La Salle Carmo (English: La Salle Carmo College) is a secondary school in downtown Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It is run by the De La Salle Brothers of the La Salle Brazil-Chile Province. It is one of the oldest private schools in Caxias.

RBS TV Caxias do Sul (channel 8) is a television station in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, affiliated with TV Globo, member of RBS TV and owned by Grupo RBS. It is the oldest television station in the interior of the state, and the most important place for RBS TV in the interior. RBS TV Caxias do Sul's studios are located on Bento Gonçalves Street, in the center of Caxias do Sul, and its transmitter is located at Ítalo Victor Bersani Street, in the Jardim América district.

The Eberle Palace (Portuguese: Palacete Eberle) is a historic building in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, located at 1540 Sinimbu Street. It was the residence of the important industrialist Abramo Eberle, and is protected by the City Hall.

Estádio Alfredo Jaconi, is a football stadium inaugurated on March 23, 1975, during the centennial commemoration of the state's Italian Colonization, in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with a maximum capacity of 30,519 people. The stadium is owned by Esporte Clube Juventude. Its formal name honors Alfredo Jaconi (1910–1952), who was a player, a manager and a director of Juventude during the 1930s and the 1940s.

The Estádio Francisco Stédile, usually known as the Estádio Centenário, is a multi-use stadium in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 30,802 people. It was built in 1976. The stadium was named after Francisco Stédile, who was Caxias' president during its construction. The stadium is nicknamed Centenário because it honors the centennial anniversary of the Italian colonization of Rio Grande do Sul.

The Chapel of the Holy Sepulchre (Portuguese: Capela do Santo Sepulcro) is a Catholic temple located in the Brazilian city of Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul. It has neo-Gothic features and houses several works of art inside, including statuary by Michelangelo Zambelli, a mural painting by Aldo Locatelli and a crypt with a wooden sculptural group carved by Benvenuto Conte depicting the scene of the lamentation of the Dead Christ. It is listed as a heritage site by the City Council.

The São Romédio Community (Portuguese: Comunidade de São Romédio) is an historic neighbourhood in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.

The João Spadari Adami Municipal Historical Archive (Portuguese: Arquivo Histórico Municipal João Spadari Adami) is a cultural institution in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. It has a large collection of documents, photographs, films, recordings, newspapers, and other materials, mostly related to the Italian colonization in the region and to the history of Caxias do Sul, whose value and extent place the institution as an important reference in the state. The Archive was created in 1976 as a department of the Municipal Museum, and for many years remained installed in very precarious conditions at the back of the Museum. It soon gathered a large collection and began to perform relevant activities. In 1979, a movement began for the transfer of the Municipal Archive to its own headquarters, which only took place between 1996 and 1997; in 1998 it gained administrative autonomy. The historic building, the former residence and business of Vicente Rovea, located at 318 Júlio de Castilhos Avenue, is protected by IPHAE and by the City Hall.
