Littlemoss is a suburb of Droylsden, in the Tameside District, in the English county of Greater Manchester. Littlemoss village is predominantly a farming area comprising Cinderland Hall Farm (dating back to the 17th century), Buckley Hill Farm, Willow Bank Farm, Jaum Farm and Gravel Hill Farm and a few others. It comprises mainly Lumb Lane, Back Lane, Cross Lane, Andrew Street, Hyde Street, Wayne Close, Brookside Close, Brookland and Woodleigh and Wayne Close and The Stables Estate and the Maunder's estate.

Littlemoss High School for Boys was a comprehensive school in Littlemoss, Droylsden, Tameside, England. It merged with Droylsden High School, Mathematics and Computing College for Girls in September 2009 to become Droylsden Academy. Prior to the merger it educated about 550 boys and held specialist Business and Enterprise College status.

Curzon Ashton Football Club is an association football club based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, England. Founded in 1963 and nicknamed "The Nash", the club is affiliated to the Manchester Football Association and currently competes in the National League North, (2022/3) at the sixth tier of English football. Curzon Ashton won Division One North of the Northern Premier League in the 2013–14 season, and the Premier Division play-offs in the 2014–15 season, thereby gaining promotion to the National League North. Home matches have been played at Tameside Stadium since 2005.

The station is served by a 200 space Park + Ride car park, with electric vehicle parking facilities.

Ashton Moss Railway Station was a short lived station on the Oldham, Ashton and Guide Bridge Railway (OA&GB) that served the town of Ashton-under-Lyne. The station opened on 26 August 1861 when the Oldham, Ashton-under-Lyne and Guide Bridge Junction Railway opened its line from Guide Bridge to Oldham Clegg Street. The station was located on Moss Lane, at the west end of the town. It had two services in each direction, one early morning, the other late evening. Only the early morning services were provided on Sundays.The station closed in 1862.Whilst most of the former OA&GB line is closed the line through the station site is still in use for freight and occasional diversions from Denton, onto the former OA&GB line through where Ashton Moss had been then taking the south to west curve onto the former GCR line towards Manchester.The name Ashton Moss is now used by a stop in a different location on the East Manchester Line of the Manchester Metrolink to Ashton-under-Lyne.

It was built as part of Phase 3b of the Metrolink's expansion, and is located on Lord Sheldon Way near the Ashton Moss leisure complex, in western Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, England. The stop opened on 9 October 2013, ahead of the originally-publicised schedule of the winter of 2013–14. The stop primarily serves the aforementioned leisure and retail complex, and is also the closest to the Tameside Stadium, home of Curzon Ashton F.C. The stop is one of the least used on the Metrolink network.

Woodhouses is a village near Failsworth, in the Oldham district of Greater Manchester (which was part of Lancashire until 1974), England. It is about 5 miles (8 km) miles from Manchester city centre. In 2021 it had a population of 1094. Woodhouses Conservation Area includes most of the village and was designated in 1975.
