Cima dell'Uomo (Italy)

Colac (Il Collaccio) is a mountain in the Dolomites of Italy. The mountain is located in the north of the province of Trentino near the ski resort of Canazei. At 2,715 metres (8,907 ft) it is the highest summit of the Colac-Buffaure subgroup that forms part of the Marmolada group. The mountain saw few visitors until the Via Ferrata dei Finanzieri was established. A cable car runs from Penia to the Ciampac meadows directly at the base of the mountain.

The San Pellegrino Pass (Italian: Passo San Pellegrino) (1918 m) is a high mountain pass in the Italian Dolomites. It connects the municipalities of Moena and Falcade. The ski resort of Trevalli is located at the pass. The area is also popular in summer for rock climbing. The peak of Cima Uomo and Col Margherita stand nearby on the north and the south sides. During World War I Austrian positions were on Cima Uomo while Italian trenches were on Col Margherita.

Stadio del Ghiaccio Gianmario Scola is an indoor sporting arena in Canazei, Italy. The arena can hold up to 3500 spectators and is the home arena of the Sportiva Hockey Club Fassa ice hockey team of the Serie A ice hockey league. The arena also hosted games during the 1994 World Ice Hockey Championships along with the Forum di Assago in Milan and the PalaOnda in Bolzano.

Canazei (Ladin: Cianacéi) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located in the upper part of the Val di Fassa, about 110 kilometres (68 mi) northeast of Trento. Its name derives from the Latin word cannicetus (cane thicket).

Cima Bocche (2,745 m) is a mountain of the Dolomites in Trentino, Italy. It is the highest peak of a small group that is located between the San Pellegrino Pass and the Predazzo valley. The mountain has a vertical 400m north face, whereas its southern slopes are far more gentle, making it an easy climb from this direction. Despite being geographically part of the Dolomites, the mountain is not geologically part of the range, as it is formed of Porphyry rather than dolomite.

In the census of 2001, 625 inhabitants out of 732 (85.4%) declared Ladin as their native language.

Mazzin (Ladin: Mazin) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 km (37 mi) northeast of Trento. In the census of 2001, 381 inhabitants out of 440 (86.6%) declared Ladin as their native language. Mazzin borders the following municipalities: Canazei, Campitello di Fassa, Tiers and Sèn Jan di Fassa.

The Fassa Valley (Ladin: Fascia, Italian: Val di Fassa, German: Fassatal) is a valley in the Dolomites in Trentino, northern Italy. The valley composes an administrative valley community (Italian: Comunità di valle, German: Talgemeinschaft) of Trentino, known as Fascia (Ladin: Region Comun General de Fascia). The valley is home to much of the Ladin community in Trentino, which makes up the majority of the valley's population.

San Giovanni di Fassa (in ladin: Sèn Jan) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It was formed on 1 January 2018 after the merger of the former comuni of Pozza di Fassa and Vigo di Fassa. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,867 and an area of 73.2 square kilometres (28.3 mi2). The frazione of Pozza di Fassa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pera di Fassa and Monzon. Pozza di Fassa borders the following municipalities: Canazei, Tiers, Mazzin, Welschnofen, Rocca Pietore, Vigo di Fassa, Moena and Soraga. In the census of 2001, 1,587 inhabitants out of 1,787 (88.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.

Soraga di Fassa (Ladin: Soraga or Soréga) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Trento. Soraga borders the following municipalities: Sèn Jan di Fassa, Falcade and Moena. In the census of 2001, 574 inhabitants out of 673 (85.3%) declared Ladin as their native language.

Vigo di Fassa (Ladin: Vich de Fascia, German: Wiegen im Fasstal or Vig im Fasstal) is a frazione of Sèn Jan di Fassa in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Trento. In the census of 2001, 921 inhabitants out of 1,073 (85.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.
