Vigo di Fassa (Ladin: Vich de Fascia, German: Wiegen im Fasstal or Vig im Fasstal) is a frazione of Sèn Jan di Fassa in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Trento. In the census of 2001, 921 inhabitants out of 1,073 (85.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.

San Giovanni di Fassa (in ladin: Sèn Jan) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. It was formed on 1 January 2018 after the merger of the former comuni of Pozza di Fassa and Vigo di Fassa. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,867 and an area of 73.2 square kilometres (28.3 mi2). The frazione of Pozza di Fassa contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pera di Fassa and Monzon. Pozza di Fassa borders the following municipalities: Canazei, Tiers, Mazzin, Welschnofen, Rocca Pietore, Vigo di Fassa, Moena and Soraga. In the census of 2001, 1,587 inhabitants out of 1,787 (88.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.

It connects Bolzano through the Eggental and the Welschnofen Valley with the Fassa Valley. Just below the pass on the Welschnofen Valley side is the Karersee lake. It is connected to the Tierser Tal by the Nigerpass.

The valley composes an administrative valley community (Italian: Comunità di valle, German: Talgemeinschaft) of Trentino, known as Fascia (Ladin: Region Comun General de Fascia). The valley is home to much of the Ladin community in Trentino, which makes up the majority of the valley's population.

The Rosengarten group (Italian: Catinaccio [katiˈnattʃo], Ladin: Ciadenac, Ciadenáze) is a massif in the Dolomites of northern Italy. It is located between the Tierser Tal and Eggental in South Tyrol and the Fassa Valley in Trentino. One peculiarity of the Rosengarten is the pink shade, owing to the presence of the mineral dolomite, which takes in the sunset and "glows", as celebrated in the Bozner Bergsteigerlied. Meaning "Rose garden" in German, the name refers to the legend of King Laurin and his Rose Garden, a traditional story explaining the outer appearance of the mountain range.

The "Giuseppe Dal Ben" Ski Jumping Arena (in Italian: Stadio del salto "Giuseppe Dal Ben") is a ski jumping venue in Predazzo, Val di Fiemme, Trentino, in northern Italy. It is a venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. Opened in 1989, the venue hosted the ski jumping and nordic combined events of three editions of FIS Nordic World Ski Championships (1991, 2003, 2013), of 2013 Winter Universiade, as well as many events of the Ski jumping World Cup. It will host ski jumping and nordic combined for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
