Spreepark is a former amusement park in the north of the Plänterwald in the Berlin district Treptow-Köpenick (formerly part of the GDR-controlled East Berlin). It was also known by its earlier name Kulturpark Plänterwald Berlin.

Berlin-Rummelsburg Betriebsbahnhof station is a former freight yard, currently used as a Betriebsbahnhof (“operations station”), in the suburb of Rummelsburg in the Lichtenberg district of Berlin. Until 2001 it was part of the former borough of Treptow. Its name means road (weg) of the plant nurseries (Baumschulen). It was named after the Späth nursery.

Oberschöneweide (German pronunciation: [ˈoːbərˈʃøːnəˈvaɪ̯də] (listen), literally Upper Schöneweide) is a German locality (Ortsteil) within the Berlin borough (Bezirk) of Treptow-Köpenick. It is, with Niederschöneweide (Lower Schöneweide), part of the geographic area of Schöneweide. Until 2001 it was part of the former borough of Köpenick.

The Archenhold Observatory (German: Archenhold-Sternwarte) was named in honour of Friedrich Simon Archenhold, is an observatory in Berlin-Treptow. Volkspark Wuhlheide (often simply Wuhlheide) is a large public forest park in south eastern Berlin, Germany. Laid out mainly between the 1920s and 1932 under garden director Ernst Harrich, it combines woodland and designed recreation areas. During the former German Democratic Republic (GDR) period its eastern section operated as the youth oriented Pionierpark Ernst Thälmann (1950 – 1990). Within the park are the children’s park railway, the leisure and education complex now known as FEZ Berlin (opened in 1979 as the Pionierpalast; operating as FEZ since 1990), and the listed open air amphitheatre Parkbühne Wuhlheide.

The Britz Canal, or Britzer Verbindungskanal in German, is a 3.4-kilometre (2.1 mi) long canal in Berlin, Germany. The canal was built between 1900 and 1906, and was previously known as the Britz Branch Canal or Britzer Zweigkanal.The canal provides a shortcut for shipping from the Teltow Canal and Neukölln Ship Canal directly to the Spree River, as well as serving several inner city ports. It has no locks.
