South Toxteth (Liverpool ward)

Lark Lane is a street in Liverpool, England, noted for its cafés, bars, boutiques, music venues and bistros and has a bohemian reputation. Its proximity to student residences, open green space and the variety of bars and restaurants makes it a popular venue as an alternative to the city centre.The street leads from the Victorian Sefton Park to Aigburth Road, and is situated between Sefton Park district and the Aigburth district. At the Sefton Park end, the street narrows at a pair of stone gateposts which mark the entrance to Aigburth Drive (the road around the park) and the park itself. The street originally had a local police station, the elaborate building for which is now in use as a community centre. For a short time a nearby side road housed a motor museum. The nearest train station to Lark Lane is St Michaels, west of Aigburth Road in the former St. Michael's Hamlet. In 2007, footballer Daniel Agger bought two restaurants on Lark Lane: Que Pasa and 52 Lark Lane.In 2008, a novel was published, Angels Chic by Arjuna Krishna-Das, set largely around Lark Lane and its counter-culture circa 1990. The book, Powder, by Keva Samson, begins the characters' timelines for the story in Lark Lane and frequently refers to it throughout the story.

The Motor Museum (previously called the Pink Museum) is a music recording studio based in Liverpool, England, and owned by Andy McCluskey of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD). A number of popular music artists have recorded at the premises, including Oasis, The La's, The Coral, Ben Howard, Jake Bugg, The 1975, Atomic Kitten, Tom Odell and Tribes. Music producer Mike Crossey used it as a base for recording the Arctic Monkeys and Blood Red Shoes.In 2012, Al Groves took over as the Motor Museum's resident producer. Already an established producer on the Liverpool music scene, he has continued the work of establishing the Motor Museum's reputation as one of the most desirable recording locations in the UK, having worked with artists like The Tea Street Band and Bring Me the Horizon.In addition to the usual array of equipment typical of most professional recording environments, the Motor Museum has a number of special features which have been credited with giving both the creative and recording process a unique edge, including its stone room, which adds unique ambient quality to recordings, especially those of drums. The effect of the stone room can be heard on many of the tracks recorded at the Motor Museum, such as at the start of “Supersonic” by Oasis.

Its benefice is united with those of Christ Church, Toxteth Park, and St Andrew, Liverpool.

St Michaels railway station is a railway station in St Michael's Hamlet, Liverpool, England, on the Northern Line of the Merseyrail suburban system. It is situated near, but not on St Michael's Road, Aigburth, a short distance to the south of the Lark Lane and Sefton Park neighbourhoods. The main station building sits at street level, over the lines which are in a cutting. Leading down to the platforms, from apertures in the station building, are ramps which were built for the International Garden Festival in 1984.
