St Peter Parmentergate, Norwich (also Permountergate) is a Grade I listed redundant parish church in the Church of England in Norwich.

Norwich railway station (formerly Norwich Thorpe) is the northern terminus of the Great Eastern Main Line in the East of England, serving the city of Norwich, Norfolk. It is 114 miles 77 chains (185.0 km) down the main line (measured via Ipswich) from London Liverpool Street, the western terminus.It is also the terminus of numerous secondary lines: the Breckland Line to Cambridge; the Bittern Line to Sheringham; and the Wherry Lines to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. The station is currently managed by Greater Anglia, which also operates the majority of the trains that serve the station. East Midlands Railway operates the services to Liverpool Lime Street via Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly.

Pulls Ferry is a former ferry house located on the River Wensum in Norwich, Norfolk. It is a flint building and was once a 15th-century watergate. It was the route for the stone used to build Norwich Cathedral. The stone came from Caen up the rivers Yare and Wensum. A canal, specifically built by the monks, used to run under the arch, where the Normans ferried the stone and building materials to be unloaded on the spot. The building is named after John Pull, who ran the ferry across the Wensum from 1796 to 1841. It was previously known as Sandling's, after a seventeenth-century predecessor. The ferry operated until 1943.The ferry house adjoining the watergate was built in 1647. Both house and archway were restored in 1948-9 by Cecil Upcher.

Riverside is an area in the city of Norwich in the English county of Norfolk along the east bank of the River Wensum. Very close to the Central Business District, it lies between the river and the Great Eastern Main Line, with Norwich station at the northern end and Norwich City's Carrow Road stadium at the southern end. The area was historically an industrial area with the river being Norwich's link to the coast. Companies such as engineering firm Boulton & Paul developed on the site. The engineering works closed in the late 1980s leaving the site largely derelict. For much of the 1990s it was mainly used as a park and ride car park for Norwich. In 1994, Norwich City Council, along with private stakeholders, presented the first development plans for the area. The first phases of the redevelopment opened in 1999. This has seen the area developed as a mixed use site with a combination of leisure, retailing and residential land use. This includes a major supermarket, a multiscreen cinema, a bowling alley and a swimming pool. Much of the entertainment landuse on the site is owned by X-Leisure, who own a number of similar sites across the country including the Xscape brand.

St Mary in the Marsh was a parish church in Norwich in Norfolk, England. Founded prior to the Norman Conquest, it was absorbed into the precinct of Norwich Cathedral between 1250 and 1265, though retained its status as a parish church. In 1564 due to high upkeep costs, it was closed and its parish was amalgamated with that of St Vedast and St Peter Parmentergate. The church was gutted and converted into tenements. In 1775, a Georgian terrace was built on the site, though the interior walls of the building retain some fabric of the church walls and foundations. The font remains in St Luke's Chapel in Norwich Cathedral. The church is dedicated to Mary the Virgin, one of 196 such dedications in Norfolk. Its suffix derives from the low-lying location of the church which was a marsh and would have needed drainage.

My Lord's Garden was a pleasure garden laid out by John Evelyn for Henry Howard, 6th Duke of Norfolk in circa 1663. Consisting of two acres of gardens and orchards in the ruins of the friary of the city's Austin Friars, it was located between the River Wensum and the street Conesford Inferior (later St Faith's Lane, Mountebank Lane) in the parish of St Peter Parmentergate in the Conesford ward. It is Evelyn's only known city garden that was public space (though it was not open to the general public), and the earliest known commercial garden in the city. It is now the site of St Anne's Quarter, though its 'summerhouse', Howard's House, is still extant.

St Clement Conesford, also known as St Clement at the Well, was a medieval church in the Conesford ward of the city of Norwich in Norfolk, England. It likely stood on the east side of King Street on the corner with Abbey Lane, opposite the junction with what is now Music House Lane. Possibly founded before the Norman Conquest, its advowson entered secular ownership in 1353. Its parish united with that of St Julian's in 1482. demolished after 1744, and completely removed by 1885. Human bones from the churchyard were recovered due to 1962 construction work. Its site is now that of the Waterfront.

The Nest was the former home ground of Norwich City F.C., used for 27 years between 1908 and 1935. Before The Nest, the team played at a ground in Newmarket Road. Today, the club plays at Carrow Road. The first competitive match at the stadium was a 0–0 draw with Portsmouth on 12 September 1908, with the final match being a 2–2 draw with Swansea on 4 May 1935. The record attendance for a match at The Nest was 25,037 for an FA Cup fifth-round tie against Sheffield Wednesday on 16 February 1935.

The Great Hospital is a medieval hospital that has been serving the people of Norwich in Norfolk, England, since the 13th century. It is situated on a 7-acre (2.8 ha) site in a bend of the River Wensum to the north-east of Norwich Cathedral. Founded in 1249 by Bishop Walter de Suffield, the hospital was originally known as Giles's Hospital. What makes the hospital notable today is its history of continuous care, the range of existing medieval buildings on the hospital grounds (most of which are still in use), and the extensive archives that record the hospital's long history.

Dragon Hall is a Grade-1 listed medieval merchant's trading hall located in King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, close to the River Wensum, and since 2018 home to the National Centre for Writing. It is thought to be unique in being the only such trading hall in Northern Europe to be owned by one man. The building stands on what was the main road through the city in the 15th century, with river transport links via Great Yarmouth to the Low Countries. Dragon Hall is now acknowledged as one of Norwich's medieval architectural gems and an iconic building in the city. The Great Hall on the first floor was built in the 15th century, but some parts of the site are older. Archaeological research shows evidence of an Anglo-Saxon hut c.1000 beneath the Hall. On the northern part of the site, in the late 13th century, the abbey at Woburn, Bedfordshire, had a fish processing operation with various outbuildings and a track to a staithe or quay. There was also a boundary wall with a large brick arch to give access to King Street. In about 1330 an L-shaped domestic 'hall house' owned by John Page was built on the southern part of the site with an undercroft and an entrance on the south side from Old Barge Yard. In about 1427 Robert Toppes, a Norwich merchant, re-developed the site as a commercial complex. He built his first floor trading hall on top of part of the 14th century domestic hall house and on top of the existing boundary wall and brick arch. He retained the 14th century entrance to the hall house for his customers. From the entrance passage his customers went up a new staircase to the first floor trading hall. This was a timber construction of seven bays with a crown post roof, decorated with carvings in the spandrels of 14 dragons. The hall was constructed with English oak, using some 1,000 trees. At the rear of the building he created a yard space with access to the river for his imports and exports, a warehouse area under the hall and a new stairway down to the extended undercroft from the yard. Part of the hall house was retained as a ground floor reception area.

Bishop Bridge is a medieval bridge across the River Wensum located to the east of Norwich, England. It was built in 1340 and is still in use in the twenty-first century. A gatehouse, completed in 1343, was located on the bridge until 1791.
