The Plain Dealer's media market, the Cleveland-Akron Designated Market Area, has a population of 3.8 million people, making it the 19th-largest market in the United States.In August 2013, The Plain Dealer reduced home delivery to four days a week, including Sunday. A daily version of The Plain Dealer is available electronically as well as in print at stores, newsracks and newsstands.

The H. Black and Company Building is a historic former factory building located in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. It was commissioned by H. Black and Company, one of the largest manufacturers of women's clothing in the United States, and designed by noted New York City architect Robert D. Kohn. Completed in 1907, it won national praise for its design. The building was sold in 1928 to the Evangelical Press, and for a short time was known as the Evangelical Press Building. The commercial printing business of the Evangelical Press was spun off as a secular company, Tower Press, in 1934, after which the structure became known as the Tower Press Building. Vacant for much of the 1960s and 1970s, the building had two different owners in the 1980s and was nearly demolished. A new owner took over the building in 2000, after which it underwent an award-winning renovation and restoration. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 24, 2002. The structure now serves as a mixed-use development for low- and moderate-income artists.

St. Peter Church (German: Kirche St. Peter), is a Catholic parish church in Cleveland, Ohio and part of the Diocese of Cleveland. Founded in 1853,: 276  it is located at the intersection of Superior Ave. near East 17th St., in the Downtown neighborhood. The church is a longstanding city landmark; George Francis Houck, then the Chancellor, wrote in 1903 that, "One of the landmarks of the city and Diocese of Cleveland is St. Peter's Church.": 276  It is listed as a Cleveland Designated Landmark. It is also a named feature in the Geographic Names Information System.

Norton Furniture is a Cleveland-based furniture store that is known across the Internet for its strange and unusual late night television commercials. Norton Furniture is owned and operated by Marc Brown, who inherited business from his father in 1995. The store is located in downtown Cleveland on the corner of Payne Avenue and East 21st Street.

Krenzler Field is a soccer stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on the campus of Cleveland State University (CSU). It serves as the home field to the CSU men's and women's varsity soccer teams, the CSU varsity men's lacrosse team, and formerly the Cleveland City Stars of the USL First Division. Krenzler Field became the home of Cleveland's Minor League Soccer team AFC Cleveland of the National Premier Soccer League in 2013. It is named in honor of Judge Alvin Krenzler.The 1,680-seat stadium was built in 1985 and has received many upgrades since, including the addition of an air supported dome in winter months to provide an indoor practice facility. The field surface is FieldTurf.

The James A. Rhodes Tower, originally known as University Tower, is a 21-story high-rise building on the campus of Cleveland State University in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States. With a height of 363 feet (111 m), it is the fourth-tallest educational-purposed building in the United States, behind the Cathedral of Learning, Vertical Campus at Roosevelt University in Chicago, and 25 Park Place in Atlanta which is now owned by Georgia State University. It houses the university's main library on the first eight floors and administration offices for many of the university's academic departments on the upper level floors. It previously held classrooms on the first two floors. It is the tallest structure on the Cleveland State campus, followed by Fenn Tower, and the tallest academic building in Ohio. The tower was named after former Ohio Governor James A. Rhodes who is responsible for signing the legislation that created Cleveland State University on December 18, 1964.

The Greyhound Bus Station at 1465 Chester Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, is a bus station designed by William Strudwick Arrasmith in the Streamline Moderne style. Built by Greyhound Lines, it opened in 1948. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Monte Ahuja College of Business is the business school at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. With more than 3,000 current students and over 19,000 alumni, the Monte Ahuja College of Business ranks among the largest in Ohio. It is fully accredited by the AACSB, and currently offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) undergraduate degree with a number of majors and minors, six graduate degree programs, one dual graduate degree program and one doctoral degree program.

Cleveland State University College of Law is the law school of Cleveland State University, a public research university in Cleveland, Ohio. It traces its origins to Cleveland Law School, founded in 1897, which merged in 1946 with the John Marshall School of Law to become Cleveland-Marshall Law School and was absorbed by the university in 1969. It is accredited by the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools.

The Cleveland National Air Show is an annual air show held on Labor Day weekend at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, Ohio. It was established in 1964 as an indirect successor to the National Air Races. The show includes stunt airplanes, modern fighters and alternates between the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds every other year. The show typically runs from 9:00 a.m. to around 4:30 p.m. EDT. The show usually starts with smaller acts, and the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds perform last. Another regular attraction is the NASA Glenn Research Center, which usually has an exhibit located near the back of the show. There is usually some type of heritage or legacy flight, sometimes both.There was no show in 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

SuccessTech Academy is an alternative public high school in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, United States. It is part of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. A grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation helped to establish the school, which opened to enrollment in the 2002–2003 school year. SuccessTech Academy offers a technology infused high school curriculum with a focus on problem and project based learning. All 59 students in the school's first senior class (2006-2007) were college-bound.As of the 2009–2010 school year, SuccessTech's graduation rate was 94.9%

The Bohn Towers is a 1972-erected 204-foot 22-story high-rise apartment building complex in the Reserve Square area of downtown Cleveland. It is named after one of the former directors of the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority, Ernest J. Bohn, who directed the agency responsible for public housing in the urban area of Cleveland from 1933 until 1968. The Bohn is known for its modern style apartment dwelling design, which almost approaches the brutalist style. The Bohn sits directly east of the Reserve Square East and West Towers. The property is listed in the CMHA registry as a senior living high rise in the downtown neighborhood of Cleveland and is one of only a handful of such properties in the central business district. In recent years the city of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County have experienced a great demand and need for such housing as older couples shed the demands of maintaining suburban housing and seek to live in the urban centers of Cleveland, Akron, Lakewood and Parma.
