St Mellitus's Church, Hanwell

The Kings Arms is a pub at 110 Uxbridge Road, Hanwell, London W7 3SU. It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.The pub was rebuilt in 1930 by the brewers Mann, Crossman & Paulin, and the original interior remains largely intact.

Hanwell railway station serves Hanwell in the London Borough of Ealing. It is 7 miles 28 chains (11.8 km) down the line from London Paddington and is situated between West Ealing and Southall. All trains serving Hanwell are operated by TfL Rail, having taken over the Heathrow Connect stopping services between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport, and Great Western Railway local services between London Paddington and Hayes & Harlington from the 20 May 2018 timetable change. From the 17 May 2020 timetable change, Hanwell station gained a Sunday service. The TfL Rail service will be re-branded as the Elizabeth line (part of the Crossrail development) when the line fully opens (projected for mid-2022). This will include direct services from Hanwell to the East via Central London. In November 2021 the Ealing Civic Society recognized the quality of the renovations to the station building by awarding the station the society's annual award.

Its emblem is a phoenix rising from a crown with the legend 'Nec Aspera Terrent', which means 'hardships do not deter us'.

St Mary's Cathedral, London, formerly known as St. James' Church, is a cathedral of the Assyrian Church of the East. It closed as an Anglican church in 2018, before being consecrated as St Mary's Cathedral on the 15 February, 2025. It is the seat of the bishop of the Diocese of Western Europe.

Brent Valley Golf Club is located in Hanwell, West London. The club is a member of the English Golf Union and is based on the Brent Valley Golf course, which is owned by Ealing Council. The club also belongs to the National Association of Public Golf Clubs and Courses. The club currently has just over 140 members. In 2022 it was named Middlesex Golf Club of the Year.The club is located within the large Brent Valley Golf Course, adjacent to further green open spaces Brent Valley Park, Brent Lodge Park, and West Middlesex Golf Course in Dormers Wells.

It is on the Greenford branch line 41 chains (0.82 km) north of West Ealing where it joins the Great Western Main Line at 7 miles 7 chains (11.4 km) from London Paddington. The station and all trains serving it are operated by Great Western Railway. It first opened as Drayton Green Halt, named after a nearby park and open space called Drayton Green. Since 2008, no ticket machines are available at the station, travelling is only possible using contactless payment cards, such as those of most UK banks or the Oyster card, or using pre-paid tickets and passes.

The Wharncliffe Viaduct is a brick-built viaduct that carries the Great Western Main Line railway across the Brent Valley, between Hanwell and Southall, Ealing, UK, at an elevation of 20 metres (66 ft). The viaduct, built in 1836–7, was constructed for the opening of the Great Western Railway (GWR). It is situated between Southall and Hanwell stations, the latter station being only a very short distance away to the east. The viaduct was the first major structural design by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the first building contract to be let on the GWR project, and the first major engineering work to be completed. It was also the first railway viaduct to be built with hollow piers, a feature much appreciated by a colony of bats which has since taken up residence within.
