10th & Osage station is a RTD light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the C, D, E, F and H Lines, the station was opened on October 8, 1994, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. This is the northernmost station served by all trains that pass through the I-25 & Broadway station.It serves a mostly residential neighborhood; however, immediately across the street from the station is a Denver landmark, the Buckhorn Exchange, one of the city's oldest restaurants. Visible to the west of the station, but fenced off from foot traffic, is the Burnham Shops of the Union Pacific Railroad, which was their second largest locomotive facility at the time of the railroad's last merger.

Denver Water is a water utility that operates as a public agency serving the City and County of Denver, Colorado, and a portion of its surrounding suburbs. Established in 1918, the utility is funded by water rates and new tap fees. It is Colorado's oldest and largest water utility.

Lincoln Park is a neighborhood and public park close to downtown Denver, Colorado and the location of the Art District on Santa Fe. The neighborhood is one of Denver's oldest and is just to the south of the area where Denver was first settled in the 1850s. Many houses date from about 1900. The neighborhood is sometimes called "La Alma/Lincoln Park" or the West Side.

Fort Weld, also called Camp Weld, began as a military camp on 30 acres east of the Platte River in what is now the La Alma-Lincoln Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. It was named for Lewis Ledyard Weld, the first Territorial Secretary. The central square of the post was used to practice drills of the troops. Buildings—soldier's quarters, officers' headquarters, mess rooms, a hospital, and a guard house—surrounded the square. The main entrance to the camp was on the eastern side of the post. It was established on September 1861 and abandoned in 1865.

Operating as part of the C, E and W Lines, the station opened on April 5, 2002, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. It primarily serves the adjacent Auraria academic campus, home to Metropolitan State University of Denver, the Community College of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver.

Colfax at Auraria station is a RTD light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the D, F and H Lines, the station was opened on October 8, 1994, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. It serves the eastern side of the Auraria academic campus, home to Metropolitan State College of Denver, the Community College of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver. In 2008, the station was remodeled to enable the platforms to accommodate four-car trains.

Community College of Denver (CCD) is a public community college in Denver, Colorado. The main campus is at Auraria Campus and it has two other locations in the Denver metropolitan area. CCD focuses on underserved, first-generation, and minority students. CCD is one of 13 colleges in the Colorado Community College System. The college offers over 100 degree and certification options, including workforce training, career planning and transfer to other state schools. It is the only two-year college in the nation that shares a campus and facilities with two four-year universities, Metropolitan State University of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver.

DIME Denver was a for-profit college located in Denver, Colorado. It was a branch of the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME). The college offered certificate and bachelor's degree programs. In March 2016, DIME announced a partnership with Metropolitan State University of Denver after previously partnering with Falmouth University for accreditation. The financial agreement between DIME and Metropolitan State University was never publicly disclosed. The partnership with Metropolitan State University allowed DIME students to receive BA degrees through Metropolitan State University while paying the higher DIME tuition. DIME students paid significantly higher tuition than the regular Metropolitan State University rate. The cost of attendance to attend DIME Denver was $15,356 for the 2019-20 academic year.DIME Denver was announced on November 2016 in a pop-up location in the basement of the Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria Campus. Students began attending DIME Denver in Fall, 2017. Enrollment numbers never reached expectations which led to financial problems for DIME and MSU Denver. In June 2020, Larry Sampler, MSU's chief operating officer, stated that "per an independent marketing study done in 2019, the financial prospects for the partnership going forward were impossibly dire. As of 2019, enrollment at both DIME locations produced only 168 students in 2019, fewer than half the 349 students required for the partnership to break even. Consolidated financial data for both DIME locations showed that in June of 2019 total tuition received was under $2M, while expenses were almost $4M. And, per projections agreed by both MSU Denver and DIME, these numbers were not expected to improve significantly in the coming years." On March 16th, 2020, MSU notified DIME and the DIME students that they were ending the partnership between the two colleges. On June 3rd, 2020, the founders of DIME Denver announced that the college would permanently close immediately. The DIME founders claim that MSU Denver “voluntarily breached” their agreement by refusing to adhere to the 360-day notice period of termination. In a statement they stated, “On March 16th 2020, as the COVID 19 lockdown began, and without prior notice to DIME Directors or senior management, Metropolitan State University of Denver unilaterally announced by email to all DIME students and faculty that they were ending the MSU Denver at DIME partnership agreement. Consequently, DIME has been forced to close DIME Denver."

The Buckhorn Exchange is a historic landmark restaurant and American frontier museum located in Lincoln Park, Denver, Colorado. The restaurant opened in 1893 and is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Denver.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 as the Zeitz Buckhorn Exchange.

Auraria 9th Street Historic District is a historic district in Denver, Colorado at Auraria Campus. It includes both sides of one block of 9th Street, from Curtis St. to Champa St. The listing included 33 contributing buildings. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.The block was developed with mainly Victorian-style, modest homes during 1873 to 1905. The street has been removed and replaced with a greenway.

Museo de las Americas is a fine arts museum in Denver, Colorado. It is dedicated to educating the community through collecting, preserving, interpreting and exhibiting the diverse arts and cultures of the Americas from ancient to contemporary, through innovative exhibitions and programs. Founded in 1992, Museo de las Americas purchased its current 12,000 sq. ft. building in 1994, located at 861 Santa Fe Drive in the heart of Denver's 'Santa Fe Arts District'. Over the last two decades, Museo has maintained its status as one of the southwest's premier Latino art museum, including its own permanent collection of pre-Columbian, folk art and contemporary Latino art pieces, featuring avant garde international exhibitions as well as a focus on regional artists of import. Since 1992, the permanent collection of the museum has received more than 3,000 objects representing art, history and traditions of Latin American cultures. Textiles, ceramics, masks, jewelry, basketry, wooden utilitarian objects, paintings, pre-Columbian figures and contemporary art pieces of mixed media represent this collection. The museum also has a research library.Museo is the recipient of many awards, including the Downtown Denver Partnership Award (2000), the City of Denver's Design Award (2005), the Martin Luther King Community Service Award (2006), and Denver's Award for Excellence in the Arts (2009). Museum patrons will discover artistic renderings that depict an Aztec Sun Stone and the Tenochtitlán civilization within this organization.In 2016, the artistic group Sin Huellas installed an exhibit called "Detention Nation" in the museum, an installation that included a mock prison. The exhibit aimed to show what it's like to be held in an immigration detention facility.

Auraria Campus is an educational facility located near downtown Denver, Colorado in the United States. The campus houses facilities of three separate universities and colleges: the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver), Community College of Denver (CCD), and Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver). In 2017, there were approximately 54,812 students between the three schools, with rapid growth projected over the following few years. The campus also houses Auraria Higher Education Center, the administrative body that handles parking, maintenance, and janitorial services. The campus is located southwest of downtown, on the east side of the South Platte River and south of Cherry Creek, near the site of the original Auraria mining camp settlement of 1859. The Auraria Campus is also home to Tivoli Union, the historical and currently operating after a hiatus brewery. The Tivoli/Student Union houses a lounge, brewery, movie theater cafeteria, and housing a significant number of student organizations for all three schools. The building also has functioned as a mall at one point. The 9th St. Park borders the Campus to the west, housing community outreach programs, academic departments, and other campus offices as well as a fast-food restaurant in the Mercantile building. Student housing consists of three separate apartment complexes including The Regency, the Auraria Student Lofts, and the Campus Village Apartments.
