DIME Denver was a for-profit college located in Denver, Colorado. It was a branch of the Detroit Institute of Music Education (DIME). The college offered certificate and bachelor's degree programs. In March 2016, DIME announced a partnership with Metropolitan State University of Denver after previously partnering with Falmouth University for accreditation. The financial agreement between DIME and Metropolitan State University was never publicly disclosed. The partnership with Metropolitan State University allowed DIME students to receive BA degrees through Metropolitan State University while paying the higher DIME tuition. DIME students paid significantly higher tuition than the regular Metropolitan State University rate. The cost of attendance to attend DIME Denver was $15,356 for the 2019-20 academic year.DIME Denver was announced on November 2016 in a pop-up location in the basement of the Tivoli Student Union on the Auraria Campus. Students began attending DIME Denver in Fall, 2017. Enrollment numbers never reached expectations which led to financial problems for DIME and MSU Denver. In June 2020, Larry Sampler, MSU's chief operating officer, stated that "per an independent marketing study done in 2019, the financial prospects for the partnership going forward were impossibly dire. As of 2019, enrollment at both DIME locations produced only 168 students in 2019, fewer than half the 349 students required for the partnership to break even. Consolidated financial data for both DIME locations showed that in June of 2019 total tuition received was under $2M, while expenses were almost $4M. And, per projections agreed by both MSU Denver and DIME, these numbers were not expected to improve significantly in the coming years." On March 16th, 2020, MSU notified DIME and the DIME students that they were ending the partnership between the two colleges. On June 3rd, 2020, the founders of DIME Denver announced that the college would permanently close immediately. The DIME founders claim that MSU Denver “voluntarily breached” their agreement by refusing to adhere to the 360-day notice period of termination. In a statement they stated, “On March 16th 2020, as the COVID 19 lockdown began, and without prior notice to DIME Directors or senior management, Metropolitan State University of Denver unilaterally announced by email to all DIME students and faculty that they were ending the MSU Denver at DIME partnership agreement. Consequently, DIME has been forced to close DIME Denver."

West High School, commonly referred to as Denver West High School or simply D-West, is a historic high school located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of the original section of West Denver, Colorado. It is part of the Denver Public Schools system. It is one of four original high schools in Denver; the other three are East, North, and South.

The Samsonite House is a historic house located in the neighborhood of Lincoln Park in Denver, Colorado. The home on Galapago Street is representative of the Italianate style of architecture, with a flat-roof cornice and tall narrow windows. It first was a rectory for the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and was then owned by the Shwayder family, founders of Samsonite Corporation. The Samsonite House received historic designation as a Denver Landmark by the Denver City Council on February 12, 2019.

St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Denver, also known as St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church, is a historic church at 600 Galapago in Denver, Colorado. It was built in 1888 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.The church was deemed significant in part "as an example of the style of institutional architecture which was predominant in Denver during the 1880s - 90s. The architecture takes on greater significance because of one feature of the building—the stained glass windows. All of them are American-made, an apparently unusual circumstance for the time, as the common conception of the people at the time St. Joseph's was built was that church windows had to be imported from Europe. The stained glass windows are also unique in that they contain clear prisms."St Joseph's was the site of a mass excommunication of more than 100 parishioners, after it was found that Father Malone had embezzled a large sum of money. 637 Galapago (also known as the Samsonite house), across the street from the church was built for the sum of $12,000 in the name of Father Malone's mother. The embezzled sum was also $12,000. 637 Galapago was sold the day before an archbishop was brought in from New Mexico to investigate the matter.

St. Joseph's High School (commonly referred to as "St. Joe") was a fully accredited Catholic high school located at 601 Fox Street in Denver, Colorado, United States. It was one of several parochial high schools in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Saint Joseph's High School served students in grades 9 through 12. The entire student body averaged less than 300 students. It was built in one of the original settlement areas of historic Denver. The adjoining Saint Joseph Church is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Pet Sounds Recording Studio (usually referred to as simply Pet Sounds Studio or Pet Sounds, after the Beach Boys' album of the same name) was a recording studio located in Denver, Colorado (subsequently in Lexington, Kentucky), founded by Robert Schneider of The Apples in Stereo and Jim McIntyre of Von Hemmling. Many Elephant 6 albums have been recorded in the studio, including the critically acclaimed Neutral Milk Hotel album, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. It was demolished in 1999; a high-rise condominium was subsequently erected on the site.

Denver Center for International Studies at Baker, or simply DCIS Baker, is a public 6-12 magnet school located in the Baker neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. It is part of the Denver Public Schools system. DCIS was created in 1985 as a magnet program at Denver West High School and became an independent magnet middle and high school in 2006 at the Baker location.

10th & Osage station is a RTD light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the C, D, E, F and H Lines, the station was opened on October 8, 1994, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. This is the northernmost station served by all trains that pass through the I-25 & Broadway station.It serves a mostly residential neighborhood; however, immediately across the street from the station is a Denver landmark, the Buckhorn Exchange, one of the city's oldest restaurants. Visible to the west of the station, but fenced off from foot traffic, is the Burnham Shops of the Union Pacific Railroad, which was their second largest locomotive facility at the time of the railroad's last merger.

Lincoln Park is a neighborhood and public park close to downtown Denver, Colorado and the location of the Art District on Santa Fe. The neighborhood is one of Denver's oldest and is just to the south of the area where Denver was first settled in the 1850s. Many houses date from about 1900. The neighborhood is sometimes called "La Alma/Lincoln Park" or the West Side.

Denver Health Medical Center, formerly named Denver General Hospital, is a hospital in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Denver, founded in 1860. It is one of five Level I Trauma Centers in Colorado. Denver Health Medical Center is one of the primary teaching hospitals in Denver and is affiliated with the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
