Cleckheaton Town Hall is a municipal building in Bradford Road, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, England. The town hall, which was the headquarters of Spenborough Urban District Council, is a Grade II listed building.

It has the distinction of being the only British railway station to have been stolen.

Liversedge F.C. is a football club based in Cleckheaton, England, on the border with Hightown in Liversedge. They are currently members of the Northern Premier League Premier Division. Liversedge play their home games at Clayborn, which features a clubhouse to the top west corner of the ground, covered seating at the North, and a small covered-terracing stand to the West behind the goal. In 2017, Liversedge secured much-needed investment from Trevor Best, Managing Director and Founder of Corpad. Best managed Liversedge in the 1990s, and is their current chairman.

Whitechapel Church, is an unusual church building located approximately half a mile north of Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, England. It was built in 1820 on a site associated with over nine centuries of worship. It has supported Roman Catholic, Protestant, Puritan, Methodist and Anglican worship during its history. Links with this site of worship have been made to the Romans, the Brontës, the Knights Hospitaller, a grave slab of one of the knights being in the entrance to the church, Celtic influences, and in recent times the graveyard contains war graves from the world wars. Legend also has it that Robin Hood is connected with this site of worship.

Littletown is one of the constituent settlements of the district of Liversedge, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, much of the town centre was demolished in the 1960s for road widening. Although local residents always refer to it as a town, its size and population are similar to that of a village. Although it is literally a little town the place name is reputedly named after a Mr Little.

Spenborough was, from 1915 to 1974, a local government district in the administrative county of Yorkshire, West Riding, England. Spenborough was created as an urban district in 1915 by the merger of Cleckheaton, Gomersal and Liversedge urban districts. The amalgamation was carried out on the instigation of Cleckheaton Urban District Council, in order to resist plans by the County Borough of Bradford to annex the area. The name "Spenborough", after the River Spen, was also suggested by Cleckheaton UDC. The district was expanded in 1937 by taking in the abolished Birkenshaw and Hunsworth urban districts, as well as part of the parishes of Clifton and Hartshead from the Halifax Rural District. Attempts to incorporate neighbouring Heckmondwike which is considered to be in the Spen Valley area, were never successful. On 29 July 1955, it was granted a charter of incorporation creating it a municipal borough.In 1974, Spenborough was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, with its area forming part of the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire. Today, Kirklees Council recognises the former Spenborough borough area, with neighbouring Heckmondwike, as the Spen Valley Locality in its structure.
