Oxford Montessori Schools is a group of progressive, co-educational private schools based in and around Oxford, England. Founded in 1990, the Oxford Montessori Schools group is the largest Montessori organisation in Oxfordshire. The group consists of three schools: Forest Farm School - a combined nursery, primary and senior school (ages 2 to 16) in Elsfield, Oxfordshire. Wolvercote Montessori Nursery St Giles', Oxford St Giles Montessori NurseryThe schools emphasise a progressive educational philosophy, inspired by the principles of Montessori education. The most recent Ofsted report rates Forest Farm School as 'good', noting that "pupils enjoy the warm, family atmosphere created by the school" and "achieve well over time owing to good teaching and a broad and balanced curriculum."Oxford Montessori Schools is a small school with around 80 pupils at the Forest Farm campus, and is a member of the Human Scale Education movement.

Woodeaton Quarry is a 7.3-hectare (18-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Oxford in Oxfordshire. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site exposes a sequence of rocks dating to the Middle Jurassic around 167 million years ago belonging to the Great Oolite Group, spanning the Chipping Norton Limestone, Sharp's Hill, Taynton Limestone, Rutland, White Limestone, and Forest Marble formations. It exhibits one of the most complete Bathonian sections in the county, and is described by Natural England as "of great palaeontological and sedimentological interest".

Noke is a small village and civil parish in Oxfordshire about 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Oxford. It is on the southeast edge of Otmoor and is one of the "Seven Towns of Otmoor". The toponym is derived from Old English and means "at the oak trees". The parish still has two woodlands: Prattle Wood about 500 yards (460 m) southwest of the village, and Noke Wood about 1 mile (1.6 km) to the southeast.

Northway is a suburban area in northeast Oxford, England, just inside the Oxford ring road. It is close to Headington Hill and with it forms a ward in Oxford. It mainly consists of social housing built by Oxford City Council in the 1950s, though many houses and apartments are now in private ownership.There is a Community Centre in Dora Carr Close and a Sports Centre in Maltfield Road. There is a Northway Evangelical Church.To the southwest is Headley Way and to the northwest is Marsh Lane. To the northeast is the Northern Bypass of the ring road. To the southeast is the John Radcliffe Hospital, the main hospital in Oxford.

Marston is a village in the civil parish of Old Marston about 2 miles (3 km) northeast of the centre of Oxford, England. It was absorbed within the city boundaries in 1991. It is commonly called Old Marston to distinguish it from the suburb of New Marston that developed between St. Clement's and the village in the 19th and 20th centuries. The A40 Northern Bypass, part of the Oxford Ring Road forms a long north-west boundary of the village and parish and a limb, namely a distributary, of the Cherwell forms the western boundary.
