St. Regis Building

Villa Riviera (ital. beach) is a registered historic building on Ocean Boulevard in the Alamitos Beach neighborhood of Long Beach, California, United States. From the time of its completion in 1929 through the mid-1950s, it was the second-tallest building, and the tallest private building, in Southern California. The 16-story Châteauesque building has been called the city's "most elegant landmark" and a building that "has helped define the city." The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and is currently used as condominiums with approximately 134 units, including two penthouse apartments occupying the 16th floor of the building, complete with gargoyles adorning both sides of the bay windows overlooking the city and ocean.

Ebell of Long Beach was a women's club in Long Beach, California. A chapter of the Ebell Society, it was one of the largest women's clubs in Southern California. The Long Beach chapter was established on November 16, 1896 by club president Adelaide Tichenor, a local civic leader, and seventeen other women. In the 1920s it had well over one thousand member and twenty departments. Pearl Jane Pearson Brison was an organizer and served as a president. The chapter closed in 2017. The chapter's historic building now provides an event space and loft residential units.

Alamitos Beach is a coastal neighborhood in the southern portion of the city of Long Beach, California. Although it was in unincorporated Los Angeles County when annexed by the City of Long Beach, it had been planned as its own community with a townsite.

555 East is an American steakhouse located in Long Beach, California. It opened in November 1984 and celebrated its 40th anniversary on November 2024. 555 East is part of the King's Seafood Company chain of restaurants. In 1993, the restaurant had a brief name change to Domenic’s East Village.

Koo's Art Center was an art gallery and music venue located at 530. E Broadway in Long Beach, California, USA. It was a 501(c)3 nonprofit art center that hosted events including fine arts, music (performances), film screenings, social demonstrations, and literary events. It had a dedicated gallery space that was changed monthly to coincide with Long Beach's Second Saturday Art Walk, and held weekly hardcore/punk/indie music shows.

Cooper Arms Apartments is a registered historic building located on Ocean Boulevard in downtown Long Beach, California. The twelve-story Renaissance Revival apartment tower was built in 1923. It was one of the first structures to be designated a Long Beach Historical Landmark when the city launched its historic preservation program in 1980, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is currently operated as condominiums.

The East Village, sometimes called the "East Village Arts District," is the name of a neighborhood in Long Beach, California, within eastern Downtown Long Beach. The borders of the East Village are not strictly defined, but the area is centered in the southeast portion of downtown, roughly between Long Beach Boulevard on the west and Alamitos Avenue on the east, and Ocean Boulevard on the south to 10th Street on the north. The East Village is a mix of many different housing types, including high-rise condos, artist lofts and small craftsman cottages. It serves as the home to individuals with differing cultures, income levels, and professions. The neighborhood has many independent stores selling everything from designer denim and specialty sneakers to used books and mid-century furniture. There are coffee shops, juice bars, and restaurants featuring selections from crepes and sushi to chicken n' waffles. The East Village is also the city's arts district, with most of the independent shops, restaurants and galleries exhibiting work by Long Beach and Southern Californian artists.

Built on the former site of the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium, the venue is composed of the Long Beach Convention Center, Long Beach Arena, and the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. It is served by the 1st Street station of Los Angeles Metro Rail.

The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) was founded by Dr. Robert Gumbiner in 1996 in Long Beach, California, United States, and serves the greater Los Angeles area. MOLAA is the only museum in the United States dedicated to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art.

The Long Beach Shoreline Marina is a marina based in Long Beach, California.

The Pike was an amusement zone in Long Beach, California. The Pike was founded in 1902 along the shoreline south of Ocean Boulevard with several independent arcades, food stands, gift shops, a variety of rides and a grand bath house. It was most noted for the Cyclone Racer (1930–1968), a large wooden dual-track roller coaster, built out on pilings over the water. The Pike operated under several names. The amusement zone surrounding the Pike, Silver Spray Pier, was included along with additional parking in the post-World War II expansion; it was all renamed Nu-Pike via a contest winner's submission in the late 1950s, then renamed Queen's Park in the late 1960s in homage to the arrival of the Queen Mary ocean liner in Long Beach. 1979 was the year Long Beach city council refused to renew the land leases and demolished all of the structures and attractions it could that weren't trucked away. The Pike museum is located in Looff's Lite-A-Line at 2500 Long Beach Blvd.
