The Bust of Francisca Benicia Carrillo de Vallejo is a bronze monument at in Vallejo, California, located at Vallejo City Hall, honoring Francisca Benicia Carrillo de Vallejo, a Californio ranchera, socialite, and entrepreneur.

Vallejo California State Capitol was founded on May 4, 1852, at a building in Vallejo, California in Solano County, California. The Vallejo California State Capitol site is a California Historical Landmark No. 574 listed on April 1, 1957.A Vallejo wooden two-story building served as the California State Capitol from May 4, 1852, to February 4, 1853. The building had a half set basement and was located at 300 York Street, Vallejo. General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo (1807-1890) offered the site to the State after the wooden Sacramento California State Capitol building in the Sacramento First Courthouse burnt to the ground in large fire on July 13, 1854.After the Vallejo California State Capitol, the State Capitol moved to the Fischer-Hanlon House, in Benicia, California, from February 3, 1853, to February 24, 1854. The Benicia site is California Historical Landmark #153. Then the California State Capitol moved back to Sacramento, California Historical Landmark #869.The former Vallejo California State Capitol Building was lost on August 20, 1859, as hay stored in the basement caught fire. Site is now a parking lot. Site is California Historical Landmark #574.A historical marker is at the site of the former Vallejo California State Capitol on the Northwest corner of a city parking lot at 200 block of York Street, next to the Vallejo Transit Center. The marker was placed there by Native Sons of the Golden West, Historic Landmark Committee in 1938. There is second smaller marker also.

The Empress Theatre is a historical landmark located in downtown Vallejo, California built in 1911. It was re-opened in 2008 after nearly 20 years of disuse following the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. The one room movie house has undergone complete renovation and seismic retrofit. Operated as a non-profit, it now shows movies, hosts live performances, and is rented for private events.

The Vallejo Station was created by combining the Vallejo Ferry Terminal, the Vallejo Transit Center bus station, and a connecting multi-story parking garage and paseo. It is designed to be an inter-modal transit station in Vallejo, California. It is located in the western part of Central Vallejo. A California Historical Landmark marker at the transit center denotes the site of the former California State Capitol in Vallejo.The development of the Vallejo Station complex is part of a larger plan to redevelop the entire Vallejo Waterfront consisting of a total of 92 acres (37 ha). As for 2023, the plan has not been completed.

Two former city hall buildings in Vallejo, California are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Today the old city hall built in 1872 partially houses the Temple Art Lofts, a combination art gallery and apartment complex, and the 1927 city hall houses the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum.

USS Crescent City (AP-40/APA-21) was the lead ship of the Crescent City-class attack transports that served with the US Navy during World War II. The ship was built as the cargo and passenger liner Delorleans for the Mississippi Shipping Company's Delta Line. After brief commercial operation the ship was among 28 vessels requisitioned in June 1941 for the Navy and the Army. The Navy renamed the ship Crescent City, a popular nickname for New Orleans, Louisiana, upon commissioning 10 October 1941. The ship was decommissioned and laid up in 1948 before being loaned to the California Maritime Academy to serve as a training ship 1971–1995 and then transferred to a foundation in a failed art colony project. The ship left California for Texas scrapping in 2012.

The Mare Island Naval Shipyard (MINSY) was the first United States Navy base established on the Pacific Ocean. It is located 25 miles (40 km) northeast of San Francisco in Vallejo, California. The Napa River goes through the Mare Island Strait and separates the peninsula shipyard (Mare Island, California) from the main portion of the city of Vallejo. MINSY made a name for itself as the premier U.S. West Coast submarine port as well as serving as the controlling force in San Francisco Bay Area shipbuilding efforts during World War II.The base closed in 1996 and has gone through several redevelopment phases. It was registered as a California Historical Landmark in 1960, and parts of it were declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1975.

St. Peter's Chapel, Mare Island (locally, St. Peter's Chapel) is an historic church building located on Walnut Avenue near Cedar Avenue, Vallejo, Solano County, California, in the historic core of the Mare Island Naval Shipyard. It is the first Naval chapel in the Pacific, the first interdenominational chapel in the armed services, and the second chapel built on a U.S. Navy property, the first being the original Naval chapel in Annapolis replaced in 1904. Dedicated on 13 October 1901, St. Peter's Chapel is the oldest extant Naval chapel in the United States. It is "a key contributing element of the Mare Island Historic District, listed in the National Register of Historic Places and a National Historic Landmark, and individually, as one of the most important chapels owned by the U.S. Navy.": 2 

USS DeLong (DD-129) was a Wickes-class destroyer built for the United States Navy during World War I.

The First Presbyterian Church in Vallejo is a historic church in Vallejo, California. Founded in 1862 as an Old School congregation during the Old School–New School Controversy, it is now part of the Presbyterian Church (USA)'s Presbytery of the Redwoods. In 1954, the congregation consecrated the current building, which houses classrooms, offices, an auditorium, a social hall, a chapel, and a sanctuary.The building hosts programs for students at Vallejo Middle School, and also serves as seasonal concert space for the Vallejo Choral Society.The congregation is part of a group of Solano County and Napa County institutions that make up a local chapter of the Industrial Areas Foundation.

USS LCS(L)(3)-102 is an LCS(L)(3)-1 Class Landing Craft Support ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. The vessel was completed near the end of the war and saw brief service during the Battle of Okinawa. After the war, LCS(L)(3)-102 served in China before being decommissioned in 1946 and then transferred to Japan in mid-1953. Serving under the name JDS Himawari, the vessel remained in Japan until mid-1966 when she was transferred to Thailand, becoming the HTMS Nakha. In 2007, after being retired, the ship was returned to the United States to become a museum ship. Now the sole remaining vessel of her class, she remains docked at the site of the former Mare Island Naval Shipyard, in Vallejo, CA.

Touro University California is a private graduate school focused primarily on health professions and located on Mare Island in Vallejo, California. It is part of the Touro College and University System and is jointly administered with its sister campus Touro University Nevada. The university was founded in 1997 and was originally established in San Francisco as an independent, Jewish-sponsored institution, but relocated to Vallejo. Today, the university confers degrees in graduate studies of various disciplines including education, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physician assistant studies, nursing, and public health. The school's campus consists of 44 acres (18 ha) and 23 buildings of the former Mare Island naval base located east of the San Pablo Bay. Although sponsored by a Jewish organization, the school has a diverse student body of about 1,248 students as well as over 200 faculty members.
