Brooke Lifeboat Station

Brook is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Brighstone, on the Isle of Wight, England. In 1931 the parish had a population of 156. On 1 April 1933 the parish was abolished and merged with Brighstone.

Brook Bay is a bay on the south western coast of the Isle of Wight, England. It lies to the west of the village of Brook. It faces south west out into the English Channel. It stretches about 2km from Hanover Point in the east to Sudmoor Point to the west. Much of the surrounding land, including the hamlet of Brookgreen is owned by the National Trust. The beach is predominantly sand. The seabed is rocky to the west as it consists of the hazardous Brook Ledges but is rock-free near the concrete slipway. The bay is best accessed from the nearby car park and the slipway down to the beach. Both Brook Chine and Churchill Chine empty into Brook Bay. The Isle of Wight Coastal Path runs along the cliff edge for the entire extent of the bay

Brook Green is a small hamlet on the Isle of Wight located at Brook on the Back of the Wight. It is owned by the National Trust.

St Mary's Church, Brook is a parish church in the Church of England located in Brook, Isle of Wight.

Hulverstone is a hamlet of about 12 houses on the Isle of Wight on the edge of the English Channel. It has a post office in a private home and the 400-year-old Sun Inn. Sun Inn was used in smuggling operations. There is a school in Hulverstone in a private home that had been a barn before it was converted in the mid-19th century by Charles Seely. According to the Post Office the population of the hamlet at the 2011 Census was included in the civil parish of Brighstone. There was a Hulverstone farm but it no longer exists. The manor house is still used as a private home, however. The Chapel Furlong Farm in Hulverstone is the site of a bed and breakfast. Public transport is provided by Southern Vectis buses on route 12.

The 1957 Aquila Airways Solent crash occurred on the Isle of Wight in England on 15 November. With 45 lives lost, at the time it was the second worst aircraft accident within the United Kingdom, then at the time the worst ever air disaster to occur on English soil.

Shalcombe is a hamlet on the Isle of Wight towards the west in an area known as West Wight. It is in the civil parish of Shalfleet. It is situated along the B3399 road and is about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) east of Freshwater.

Mottistone is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Brighstone, on the Isle of Wight, England. It is located in the popular tourist area the Back of the Wight. It is located 8 miles southwest of Newport in the southwest of the island, and is home to the National Trust's Mottistone Manor. In 1931 the parish had a population of 114. On 1 April 1933 the parish was abolished and merged with Brighstone.

Prospect Quarry is a 4.3-hectare (11-acre) Site of special scientific interest which is located north-west of the village of Shalcombe located close to the south-west coast of the Isle of Wight. The site was notified in 1971 for both its biological and geological features.

Mottistone Manor is a National Trust property in the village of Mottistone on the Isle of Wight, England. It has popular gardens and is a listed building. It was first mentioned in documents related to the Domesday Book of 1086.

Westover Down is a chalk down on the Isle of Wight, England. It is located close to the village of Brook, in the southwest of the island, and rises to 203 m (666 ft) at its highest point, Harboro, northeast of the village. Harboro has a prominence of 78 m (256 ft) and is classed as a Tump.
