Chittenango Creek

Bridgeport is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located partly in the town of Sullivan in Madison County, New York, United States and partly in the town of Cicero in Onondaga County. The population was 1,490 at the 2010 census.

WTKW ("TK99") is a classic rock radio station in Bridgeport, New York. The station broadcasts to the Syracuse, New York market on a frequency of 99.5 FM. The station also simulcasts on full-power satellite WTKV (105.5 FM) in Minetto, New York (serving Oswego) and low-power translator W256AC (99.1 FM) for Downtown Syracuse. In April 2007, WTKW/WTKV became the flagship station of Syracuse University athletics with play-by-play coverage of Men's Football, Men's Basketball and Men's Lacrosse games.

Lower South Bay, commonly called South Bay, is a hamlet on the southwest corner of Oneida Lake, Oneida County, New York, United States. It is opposite North Bay, and is surrounded by many islands to the west, north and east, including Geersbeck Island, Hall Island, Glosky Island, Schroeppel Island, Denmans Island and Long Island (not to be confused with Long Island, New York City). Lower South Bay also lies near the town of Cicero, approximately two miles west.

Limestone Creek is a 25-mile-long (40 km) river in Onondaga County in the state of New York. From its source on the north side of Arab Hill south of Delphi Falls, New York, and northwest of DeRuyter Reservoir, the creek flows generally north to its confluence with Chittenango Creek.

Stone Arabia School, also known now as Stone Arabia Schoolhouse Museum, was built in 1854 in Cicero, New York. It is significant as "an outstanding example of a mid-nineteenth century modest Greek Revival style one-room schoolhouse". It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.It is operated by a local history group, the Cicero Historical Society, and is open on weekends during the summer. Also included at the site is a historic log cabin. It is located on New York State Route 31 just east of South Bay Road which runs from Syracuse to Oneida Lake.

Bernhards Bay is a hamlet in Oswego County, New York, United States. The community is located on the north shore of Oneida Lake along New York State Route 49, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) west of Cleveland. Bernhards Bay has a post office with ZIP code 13028.

Butternut Creek is a stream in the greater Syracuse, New York area and a tributary of Limestone Creek, part of the Oneida Lake watershed. The creek is about 16 miles (26 km) long.

Oneida Lake is the largest lake entirely within New York state, with a surface area of 79.8 square miles (207 km2). The lake is located northeast of Syracuse and near the Great Lakes. It feeds the Oneida River, a tributary of the Oswego River, which flows into Lake Ontario. From the earliest times until the opening of the Erie Canal in 1825, the lake was part of an important waterway connecting the Atlantic seaboard of North America to the continental interior. The lake is about 21 miles (34 km) long and about 5 miles (8.0 km) wide with an average depth of 22 feet (6.7 m). The shoreline is about 55 miles (89 km). Portions of six counties and 69 communities are in the watershed. Oneida Creek, which flows past the cities of Oneida and Sherrill, empties into the southeast part of the lake, at South Bay. While not geologically considered one of the Finger Lakes, Oneida Lake, because of its proximity, is referred by some as their "thumb". Because it is shallow, it is warmer than the deeper Finger Lakes in summer and its surface freezes solidly in winter. It is popular for the winter sports of ice fishing and snowmobiling.

The East Syracuse Minoa Central School District (ESM) is a pre-K through 12th grade public school district with its headquarters in Manlius, New York, enrolling approximately 3,500 students. ESM serves portions of the towns of DeWitt and Manlius, specifically the villages of East Syracuse, Minoa, and Kirkville as well as portions of Eastwood, Fayetteville, and Bridgeport. The district is partially funded by and governed under the authority of the New York State Education Department, whose standardized examinations are designed and administered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.

East Syracuse-Minoa Central High School is a New York State public high school located on Fremont Road, near Kirkville Road, in the village of East Syracuse. The school serves grades 9–12 in the East Syracuse-Minoa Central School District, and enrolls approximately 1050 students. The centralized students are from the villages of East Syracuse and Minoa, Chittenango, the hamlet of Kirkville, and the easternmost portion of Eastwood. School colors are orange and navy blue, and the school's mascot is a Spartan hoplite. 2017 ESM named to the College Board's 8th Annual AP (Advanced Placement) District Honor Roll (one of only 447 districts in the U.S. and Canada and 26 in New York State). 2017, 2015 ESM Spartan Marching Band earned a New York State Championship in Small School 1 Division 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014 List of “Best Communities for Music Education” 2013 Be the Change for Kids Innovation Award for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math-related (STEM) programs 2013 Newsweek's List of America's Best High Schools

Minoa is a village in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 3,657. Minoa is in the northern part of the town of Manlius and is east of Syracuse.

Cicero–North Syracuse High School is an American public high school located in Cicero, New York, United States serving tenth through twelfth grade students. The school is part of the North Syracuse Central School District.
