Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom e Jovim is a civil parish in the municipality of Gondomar, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom and Jovim. The population in 2011 was 48,600, in an area of 23.32 km².

Estadio de São Miguel is a multi-use stadium in Gondomar, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Gondomar SC. The stadium is able to hold 2,450 people.

Valbom is a city and a former civil parish in the municipality of Gondomar, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the new parish Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom e Jovim. It has about 15,000 residents. It was elevated to city status on 9 December 2004. For generations Valbom was a fishing village, due to its location by the river Douro. Today, local crafts dominate the economy. It was here, in the house called "Casa Branca", that the Convention of Gramido was signed on 29 June 1847, ending the civil war of the Septembrists against the Cartists known as the Patuleia.

Fânzeres is a light rail station that is the terminus of line F of the Porto Metro system in Portugal. It is located in the centre of Av. Prof. Dr. Anibal Cavaco Silva in the town of Fânzeres and municipality of Gondomar. It was opened, along with line F, on 2 January 2011. The platforms at Fânzeres are at street level, with two through tracks served by two side platforms accessible directly from the street. Trains arrive on one platform, and run past the station to reverse before departing from the other platform. The next station after departure is Venda Nova. There are four or five trains per hour in each direction on weekdays, reducing to two on Sundays.

The purpose of its construction was to create an alternative to Arrábida and D. Luis I bridges. The designers of the bridge are António Reis and Daniel de Sousa. The bridge with total length of 705 m has 8 spans.

The Sousa River (Portuguese: rio Sousa; Portuguese pronunciation: [ˈso(w)zɐ]) is a river in Portugal, a tributary of the Douro. It rises in the parish of Friande, Felgueiras, in the Porto District of northwest Portugal, and is a right tributary of the Douro, which it meets at the parish of Foz do Sousa, Gondomar, about 16 km from the mouth of the Douro.
