Malabar Hill (ISO: Malabār Hill [mələbaːɾ]) is a hillock and upmarket residential neighbourhood in South Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Malabar Hill is one of the most exclusive residential areas in Mumbai. It is home to several business tycoons and film personalities. Notable residents include Adi Godrej, Radhakishan Damani, Chandrasekaran Natarajan, Cyrus Broacha, Ashish Pandey the Birla family, Shashi Ruia and family, Pallonji Mistry, the Jindal family, the Petit family, the Shah family, the Sanghvi family, the Bilakhia family, and the Thakkar family. As of 2014 it is one of the most expensive areas in the world regularly featuring in the top 10 world wide localities. Prominent landmarks include the Chief Minister of Maharashtra's Bungalow, Government Guest House Sahyadri, official residences of VVIP state officials and additionally the Hanging Gardens, Jain Temple and Banganga Tank.

Walkeshwar (Pronunciation: [ʋaːɭkeʃʋəɾ]) is an affluent area in South Mumbai, India, at the north-western end of the Marine Drive loop. It has a large Gujarati population. It is mostly known for Walkeshwar Temple, Banganga Tank and Jain temples.

The Banganga Tank is a temple tank which is part of the Hindu Walkeshwar Temple complex in the Malabar Hill area of the city of Mumbai, India.

Walkeshwar Temple, also known as the Baan Ganga Temple, is a temple dedicated to the Hindu god, Shiva located in Walkeshwar, near Malabar Hill neighbourhood, in South Mumbai precinct of the city of Mumbai, India. It is situated at the highest point of the city, and close to the temple lies the Banganga Tank.

Jinnah House is an unoccupied house in Malabar Hill, a premium neighbourhood of the city of Mumbai in India associated with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. It is also known as South Court and Malabar Hill mansion. It was built by Mohammad Ali Jinnah and remained his main residence for 10 years until he left in 1946 for Karachi.

Raj Bhavan, Mumbai is the official residence of the governor of Maharashtra. It is located on the tip of Malabar Hills, Mumbai. The Raj Bhavan is located in 50 acres (200,000 m2) of sylvan surroundings, surrounded on three sides by the sea. The estate has several heritage bungalows, trees, large lawns and a beach. It also hosts mile long stretch of thick forests, a sandy beach and several lush lawns. The bhavan has a precious collection of beautiful carpets, paintings, exquisitely carved doors and elegant French style chairs and sofas with intricate portraits on them. The bhavan breathes a century and a half of history.

All Saints' Church on Little Gibbs Road in Malabar Hill, Mumbai, India is affiliated to the Church of North India. It was built in 1881 as an Anglican church for the local congregation that had to earlier travel some 8 kilometres to St. Thomas Cathedral in Fort. It was designed by Major Mant of the Royal Engineers, The church was founded through the efforts of the local Anglican community, with the foundation stone was laid by Lady Ferguson, wife of Sir James Fergusson, 6th Baronet, the then Governor of Bombay. It was consecrated on 16 January 1882. The church has a semi-circular chancel and the facade is made out of Porbandar stone. It had a wooden belfry tower that was removed in 1951 when it was damaged in a cyclone.

Kamala Nehru Park is part of the Hanging Gardens complex in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India covering an area of approximate 16,000 sq.mt. (4 acres). Located at the top of Mumbai's Malabar Hill, it is developed and maintained by the Hydraulic Engineer's Department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. One of Mumbai's premier gardens it is popular with young children and tourists. The garden has views of the Marine drive below - also known as Queen's necklace. The shoe structure is inspired by the nursery rhyme There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. Soli Arceivala, Former BMC Environment Officer, VJTI Vice Principal Of 15 Years, NEERI Director had designed Old Woman's Shoe at Kamala Nehru Park.

The Hanging Gardens, in Mumbai, also known as Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, are terraced gardens perched at the top of Malabar Hill, on its western side, just opposite the Kamala Nehru Park. They provide sunset views over the Arabian Sea and feature numerous hedges carved into the shapes of animals. The park was designed and laid out in 1881 by Ulhas Ghapokar over Bombay's main reservoir, some say to cover the water from the potentially contaminating activity of the nearby Towers of Silence. When seen from the air, the walkway inside the park (Hanging Gardens Path), spell out the letters PMG (Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens) in cursive.

Malabar Hill Assembly constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (Assembly) constituencies of Maharashtra state in Western India.It is one of the five constituencies of Vidhan Sabha located in the Mumbai City district. It is a part of the Mumbai City South (Lok Sabha constituency) along with five other assembly constituencies, viz Worli, Byculla, Shivadi, Mumbadevi and Colaba.

The Indian National Theatre (INT) is a theatre organisation and troupe founded in 1944 and based in Mumbai, India. Although performing predominantly Gujarati theatre, the troupe has also produced a number of plays in other Indian languages. In addition to theatre productions, the troupe also carries theatre education, training and research activities.

Girgaon Chowpatty (IAST: Giragāva Chaupāṭī), is a public beach along the Queen’s Necklace adjoining Marine Drive in the Girgaon area of Mumbai (Bombay), Konkan division, India. It is served by the Charni Road railway station. The beach is noted for its Ganesh Visarjan, when thousands of people from all over Mumbai and Poona come to immerse idols of Ganesh in the Arabian Sea. It is also one of the many places in the city where the Ramlila play is performed onstage every year during Navaratri and an effigy of Ravana erected on the sand is burnt on Vijayadashami at the end of the 10-day performance. Shiv Smarak, including 210 m (690 ft) tall statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is being constructed facing Mumbai's Girgaum Chowpatty beach, 1.5 km away on a manmade island of rocks.
