Coesfeld Schulzentrum (German: Bahnhof Coesfeld Schulzentrum) is a railway station in the town of Coesfeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The station lies on the Coesfeld–Münster railway and the train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn. The station is positioned near the Schulzentrum Coesfeld, giving the station's name, as well as Gymnasiums Nepomucenum and Heriburg. The station was opened on 10 June 2011.

Coesfeld (German pronunciation: [ˈkoːsfɛlt] ; Westphalian: Koosfeld) is the capital of the district of Coesfeld in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Coesfeld Cross is a forked crucifix and is located in the Church of Saint Lambert in Coesfeld. It is the largest of its type in Germany and is especially noted for its graphically clear portrayal of Christ's suffering. The cross is 3.24 metres high and 1.94 metres wide; the figure of Christ is 2.09 metres tall and has an arm span of 2.09 metres. The torso, which was made in the 14th century, was carved by an unknown artist from walnut wood; from a single trunk of at least 48 centimetres in diameter. The sculptor used oak wood for the arms, and the two beams of the cross. The present smooth surface was originally embellished with wounds and veins made of filler and had a more sculpted appearance as well as being painted. The head appears rather small in proportion today, because it no longer has any of the original hair, which was made of tow and glue. Holes have been bored in the left breast and head in order to attach various relics, including a true cross relic. Hence, from quite early on, the Coesfeld Cross was believed to possess miraculous properties and was the destination of many pilgrimages. A cross is still at the heart of the tradition today. For the various festivals known as Kreuztrachten, streets and houses along the route of the procession are decorated with flags and pennants, not dissimilar to the custom in other Roman Catholic regions.

Rosendahl is a municipality in the district of Coesfeld in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north-west of Coesfeld. In this municipality is located the Castle of Darfeld, internationally famous for having been the residence of Mary of the Divine Heart (1863–1899), the Countess Droste zu Vischering who became Sister of the Good Shepherd and received several revelations from God. She is best known for influencing Pope Leo XIII to consecrate the world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

St.-Pius-Gymnasium is a private Catholic Gymnasium (high school) located in Coesfeld near Münster, Germany. As of 2023, the school had approximately 700 pupils.It is named after Pope Pius X. The school is associated with the Lycée Notre-Dame in Guingamp, Brittany, France and a high school in Poole, Yorkshire, England. The school has its own chapel and an auditorium. The whole school is a non-smoking area.

Coesfeld Station (Westphalia) is the main railway station of the town of Coesfeld and an important transport hub in western Münsterland in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is a junction station on the Dortmund–Enschede, Essen-Coesfeld and Empel-Rees–Münster lines.

The Coesfelder Berg (152 m) is the westernmost top in the Coesfeld-Darup Hills, a range that is the southwest continuation of the Baumberge hills in the Münsterland in North Germany. The hill, which is east of the town of Coesfeld (Coesfeld county, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a wide ridge that rises between the streams of the Berkel and the Honigbach, descends towards the west relatively steeply from around 140 m above sea level (NN) to just under 80 m above sea level (NN) in the borough of Coesfeld. It is the hausberg for the town. From the Ludgerirast, the highest point of the hill, there are good views thanks of large parts of the western Münsterland thanks to the treeless summit. It is here that, according to Ludgerus (Ludger or Liudger), the first Bishop of Münster paused whilst out walking and blessed the Münsterland on the evening before his death in Billerbeck. The Dreilindenhöhe, with the three lime trees (Tilia europaea that give it the name) and a viewing point on the hillside above the town of Coesfeld. In a scenic side valley south of the Ludgerirast, at a height of 125 metres, is the Benedictine abbey of Gerleve. According to legend, St. Liudger blessed the Bishopric of Münster, that he had founded, from the highest point of the hill on the evening before his death. This is commemorated by a monument erected in 1934 by Brother Dominikus Zwernemann (1901-1983) of Gerleve Abbey.
