Biltmore Forest is a town in Buncombe County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,343 in 2010. It is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Biltmore Forest is the second-wealthiest town in North Carolina by per capita income at $85,044.

Thomas Wadley Raoul House, also known as Raoulwood, is a historic home located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1923, and is a two-story, hollow tile and wood frame dwelling in the Tudor Revival style. It is clad in stucco with half-timbering and has a hipped and gable slate roof. It measures 92 feet, 6 inches long and 20 to 30 feet deep. Also on the property is a contributing servant's cottage (1923) in the Bungalow style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Judge Junius G. Adams House is a historic home located at 11 Stuyvesant Road, Biltmore Forest, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1921, and is a two-story, rectangular plan, Tudor Revival style dwelling. It has rough-faced stone veneer on the first story and false half-timbering on the second, with a slate gable roof. Also on the property is a contributing gardener's residence (1931) and tool shed (1931).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Gunston Hall, also known as Franklin Hall, is a historic estate and a national historic district located at Biltmore Forest, Buncombe County, North Carolina. The district encompasses five contributing buildings, one contributing site, and two contributing structures. The main house was designed by architect Waddy Butler Wood and built in 1923. It is a five-part Colonial Revival style dwelling consisting of a 1+1⁄2-story main block flanked by hyphens and 1+1⁄2-story wings. The grounds were designed by noted landscape architects Chauncey Beadle and Lola Anderson Dennis. Other contributing elements are the Grounds and Garden (1920-c. 1955), the Breezeway (c. 1950), Gazebo (c. 1955), Tool Shed/Potting Shed (c. 1951), Greenhouse (c. 1954), Garden Shed (c. 1951), and Entrance Piers and Gates (1923). The estate was built by Dr. William Beverley Mason, a great-great grandson of George Mason, who built Gunston Hall (1759).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 but is now a private residence.

Spinning Wheel is a historic commercial building located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1939, and is a one-story, "T" -shaped commercial building with three primary components. It consists of the side-gabled, single-pen log dwelling; a small frame hyphen called the "dog-trot"; and a frame "loom room". A cement block extension was added in 1945. The building was restored in 1998. The Spinning Wheel operated from 1939 to 1948 and provided education, employment, socialization, and a craft market for the traditional weaving women from the mountains around Asheville.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Biltmore Hospital, also known as the Biltmore Hospital Extension and Memorial Mission Hospital, is a historic hospital building located at Biltmore Village, Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was built in 1929–1930, and originally known as the Battle Wing to the Clarence Barker Memorial Hospital. It is a four-story, 13 bay by 3 bay, brick and stone building with a flat roof and Tudor Revival style design elements. A two-story wing was completed in 1953 for the Imperial Life Insurance Company. Also on the property are contributing culverts and a sign.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Biltmore Village, formerly Best, is a small village that is now entirely in the city limits of Asheville, North Carolina. It is adjacent to the main entrance of the Biltmore Estate, built by George W. Vanderbilt, one of the heirs to the Vanderbilt family fortune. Once known as the town of Best, George Vanderbilt created this village as a "company town" for the estate workers. The community was planned and designed to reflect the qualities of an English country village. The village had its own church, which is still in operation today as the Cathedral of All Souls, an Episcopal cathedral. The village also had a hospital, shops, a school, a train station, and other services available. Biltmore Village was incorporated into the City of Asheville in the early 20th century. Biltmore Village is now a commercial district that has an eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

The Cathedral of All Souls, also referred to as All Souls Cathedral, is an Episcopal cathedral located in Asheville, North Carolina, United States of America. All Souls was built by George Washington Vanderbilt II, the grandson of railroad baron, Cornelius Vanderbilt, in 1896, to serve as the local parish church for Biltmore Village, which had been developed near his Biltmore Estate. The Right Reverend José Antonio McLoughlin is the current bishop seated at the cathedral.

The district encompasses 14 contributing residential buildings in Biltmore Village. They were designed by Richard Sharp Smith and built about 1900 for George W. Vanderbilt. The dwellings are 1 1/2- to two-story, pebbledash finished half-timbered cottages with recessed porches, multiple gables, steeply pitched roofs, simple molded trim, one or more brick chimneys, and brick foundations.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
