The Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) is an art school of Willamette University and is located in Portland, Oregon. Established in 1909, the art school grants Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and graduate degrees including the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees. It has an enrollment of about 500 students. The college merged with Willamette University in 2021.The college has 12 Bachelor of Fine Arts majors and eight graduate programs, a dual-degree MA/MFA option, and a Post-Baccalaureate program within the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies. PNCA also provides Community Education in art and design to the local community.

The 511 Federal Building is a former federal post office that is currently known as the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Art and Design of the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) in Portland, Oregon, United States. PNCA moved into the building in February 2015, after a $32 million remodeling project.Previous occupants of the building included the Department of Homeland Security offices for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as the Department of Agriculture. The building was constructed in 1916–1918 and opened in 1919 after being commissioned by the Secretary of the Treasury, one of the last post offices built under the 1893 Tarsney Act, and cost $1 million. It was designed by architect Lewis P. Hobart. It is located between Portland's Old Town Chinatown and the Pearl District. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, as the U.S. Post Office. The building is six stories tall and has a footprint of approximately 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2). It has a basement and sub-basement, complete with walled off shanghai tunnels.

The Golden West is an historic building in Portland, Oregon, United States. Located at the intersection of Broadway and Everett in northwest Portland's Pearl District, the structure is also known as the Broadmoor Hotel, Golden West Hotel, and New Golden West Building. It was owned by William D. Allen, a Black man. According to KOIN, the building is "one of the most important landmarks in Portland's Black history" and was "the center of Black life in Portland" during the early 1900s. The city has nominated the structure for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places; the listing was approved in February 2022.

The Oregon Cracker Company Building is a historic structure located in Portland, Oregon, United States. Built around 1897 as a food processing plant, and expanded in 1901, it is one of Portland's finest Romanesque Revival buildings. The building also includes early examples of structural features that were innovative for the time, but which later became common. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
