Masjid Pusara Aman

The Pusara Aman Muslim Cemetery (Jawi: مقبرة بوسارا أمان الإسلامية) sometimes known simply as Pusara Aman, is a cemetery situated along the Jalan Bahar road within Lim Chu Kang, Singapore. It is the only Muslim cemetery that is still in use as of today. The cemetery is part of a larger funerary complex, the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery.

The Tan Chay Wa's tombstone trial was a sequence of unusual events regarding an inscribed tombstone of a political dissident, Tan Chay Wa, that sparked a court case in Singapore in 1983. His older brother Tan Chu Boon was arrested and charged on suspicion that he designed an elaborate but 'subversive' tombstone, which had engraved on it words glorifying the communist cause. The story of the case was later taken up in London by The Sunday Times a few months after the trial, making the case an internationally known issue.

Choa Chu Kang Cemetery Complex (or Chua Chu Kang Cemetery) (Chinese: 蔡厝港坟场 Malay: Kawasan Perkuburan Choa Chu Kang) is the largest cemetery in Singapore. Located in the west of the island in close proximity to the Tengah Air Base and at the confluence of the Old Choa Chu Kang Road, Lim Chu Kang Road and Jalan Bahar, it comprises the Chinese, Christian, Ahmadiyya Jama'at, Muslim, Parsi, Baháʼí, Jewish, Hindu and Lawn cemeteries. It is currently the only cemetery in Singapore which allows burials. Also within its grounds, are several columbaria, including the state-run Choa Chu Kang Columbarium, and two private facilities, namely The Garden of Remembrance, a Christian columbarium and Nirvana Memorial Garden, a Buddhist facility.

The Choa Chu Kang Columbarium is located within the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery Complex, in Singapore and operated by the National Environment Agency. It houses some 147,000 niches spread over 18 four-storey blocks. It was designed to be a place of peace for the departed and solace for those who visit to pay respect to their deceased loved ones. It is one of three government operated columbaria in Singapore along with Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium and Yishun Columbarium.

The Pusara Abadi Muslim Cemetery, or simply Pusara Abadi, is a burial ground located within the Choa Chu Kang Cemetery in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore. Initially an extension of the older Pusara Aman Muslim Cemetery, the burial ground was later regarded as a separate cemetery. It mainly consists of burials that were reinterred from cemeteries and mausoleums which were cleared for redevelopment.

The Western Water Catchment is a planning area located in the West Region of Singapore. The planning area borders Tuas and Pioneer to its south, Sungei Kadut, Choa Chu Kang and Tengah to its east, Jurong West to its southeast, Lim Chu Kang to its north and the Straits of Johor to its west. It is the largest planning area by land area, covering nearly a tenth of Singapore Island. It is also one of the two main water catchments in Singapore, the other being Central Water Catchment. The area currently houses four reservoirs, Tengeh Reservoir, Poyan Reservoir, Murai Reservoir and Sarimbun Reservoir. Part of the Western Water Catchment is also a live-firing area in which it is used by the Singapore Armed Forces for training purposes. The SAFTI Live Firing Area commenced operations in 1968 and was revamped in 2008, the eastern part began operations in 2002 and has been extended to Lim Chu Kang Tracks 11 and 13.

Bulim Bus Depot is the first bus depot to be built by the Land Transport Authority in Singapore. It houses the buses of 30 bus services under the Bulim Bus Package. It is located along Bulim Avenue in Jurong West. Since 31 July 2015, the Bulim Bus Depot is being operated by Tower Transit Singapore. The depot was officially opened by Hong Kah MP Amy Khor on 6 December 2015.The depot accommodates about 500 buses and will be equipped with facilities for daily bus operations, bus maintenance and a rest area for bus drivers.

Tengah Depot is a future integrated train and bus depot in Tengah, Singapore. At 44.5 ha (110 acres), the at-grade depot will house 100 trains of the Jurong Region Line (JRL) fleet and house 600 buses. The depot will be located along the line between the Hong Kah and Corporation stations. Other facilities of the depot include the Operations Control Centre (OCC) for the JRL. First announced in 2018, the depot is expected to be completed in 2027 along with the first stage of the JRL.

Fico Sports Hub was a private 6-hectare recreation centre located at 2 Jurong West St 25, Singapore, then the largest Futsal (5-a-side indoor football) arena in Asia and the first in Asia with water football facilities, which closed its doors to customers on 4 April 2011.[1] A notable architectural feature of Fico Sports Hub is its white tensile membrane roof, which is designed to keep out the heat and rain over its eight futsal pitches, while embracing an "open" concept, as instead of sidewalls, with nets used to surround the pitches to allow the flow of natural breeze. The recreation centre was used for water football (football in ankle-deep water), beach volleyball and beach football activities. The beach volleyball and beach football courts use sand that was specially imported for the Swatch FIVB World Tour '2007 tournament in Sentosa and the soccer court was an inflatable water soccer court bought from overseas.

The Al-Firdaus Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al-Firdaus) is a mosque in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore. This old generation mosque located in the West, at Jalan Ibadat, off Old Choa Chu Kang Road, was built in 1962. In 1999, the mosque, which serves the needs of the nearby residents, was rebuilt. Today, it can accommodate up to 200 people. There are religious classes for adults in the evening.

Westwood Secondary School (WWSS) (simplified Chinese: 维林中学; traditional Chinese: 維林中學; pinyin: Wéi lín zhōngxué) is a co-educational government secondary school in Jurong West, Singapore. It was founded on 2 January 2000, the integrated government school offers secondary education under three academic streams, which lead up to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level or the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level examination.

The Tengah Air Base (IATA: TGA, ICAO: WSAT) is a military airbase of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) located in the Western Water Catchment, in the western part of Singapore. The air base is the most important airfield of the RSAF as it houses the majority of the RSAF's fixed-wing frontline squadrons, home to all of RSAF's Airborne early warning and control (AEWC) assets, most of the F-16C/D Fighting Falcons and many UAVs. The airfield goes by the motto of Always Vigilant, which is supported by its main motif, a black knight chess piece symbolising the aircraft's operational readiness in Tengah. The sword represents war's heraldic sword of destruction, while the state is depicted by the castle. Prior to Singapore's independence, it was a flying Royal Air Force station known as RAF Tengah.
