North City is a neighborhood within the city of Shoreline, Washington, United States, located north of Seattle. The neighborhood is centered at 15th Avenue N.E. and N.E 175th Street.

Hamlin Park is an 80-acre public park in Shoreline, Washington. The park includes a wooded area with trails, a softball/baseball field with bleachers, two playgrounds, and a picnic shelter. An orienteering course with waypoint markers is laid out within the park.Two historic 8-inch/30-caliber guns from the USS Boston are mounted near the park's main playground.In 2017, the park was a subject of controversy in response to the city's proposal to convert part of the wooded area into a maintenance facility. After a series of "Save Hamlin Park" protests from city residents, the proposal was withdrawn.

Washington's 32nd legislative district is one of forty-nine districts in Washington state for representation in the state legislature. It includes the cities of Lynnwood, Edmonds (both in Snohomish County) and Shoreline (in King County). The district's legislators are state senator Jesse Salomon and state representatives Cindy Ryu (position 1) and Lauren Davis (position 2), all Democrats.

Shoreline North/185th station is a future Link light rail station on the Lynnwood Link Extension serving Shoreline, Washington. The station will be located in a trench on the east side of Interstate 5, on the north side of Northeast 185th Street. It will include an adjacent bus station and parking garage with 500 stalls. The station is scheduled to open in 2024, with the rest of the line.

Shorecrest High School is a public high school (grades 9 through 12) in Shoreline, Washington, United States, one of two high schools in the Shoreline School District. Shorecrest was founded in 1961. Its mascot is Otis the Fighting Scot and students refer to themselves as "Scots", or the "Highlanders", a reference to the Clan Gordon.

The Shoreline School District (No. 412) is a public school district in King County, Washington, United States of America, which serves the cities of Shoreline and Lake Forest Park. It currently enrolls 9,456 students, and staffs 1,019 employees as of the 2020–2021 school year. It is located right on the boundary between King County and Snohomish County. The District currently controls 15 schools; 1 Early Learning Center, 9 elementary schools, 1 K–8 STEM school, 2 middle schools and 2 high schools, Shorecrest and Shorewood. Former school buildings have been reused for many tasks, with the original Shoreline High School being repurposed for City of Shoreline endeavors as well as District offices. North City Elementary has been reused temporarily as Parkwood Elementary was in the process of being remodeled, and North City has also been used as a testing facility. Following Rebecca Miner's resignation, on July 1, 2021, Dr. Susana Reyes became Superintendent of the Shoreline School District, after a five-month search.

Shoreline High School was a public high school in Shoreline, Washington, United States, in the Shoreline School District. Shoreline opened in 1955 and closed in 1986.

London Bridge Studio is a recording studio near Seattle that has hosted and recorded many influential artists, producers and engineers since 1985. Founded by brothers Rick and Raj Parashar and now currently owned by producers Geoff Ott, Jonathan Plum, and Eric Lilavois. The space was designed by notable studio designer Geoff Turner (Little Mountain Studios, Pinewood Studios) and features 5,000 square feet (460 m2) of tall ceilings, hardwood floors, brick walls and live acoustics. Layout of the studio includes live rooms, a control room, overdub suites, and a lounge with full kitchen.

Shoreline Christian School is a private Christian school located in Shoreline, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. The school serves pre-kindergarten through 12th grade (PK–12). Shoreline Christian is affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church but students come from many other denominations.

Jackson Park is a 160.7-acre (0.650 km2) public park and golf course in north Seattle, Washington, occupying most of the space between N.E. 145th Street on the north, N.E. 130th Street on the south, 5th Avenue N.E. on the west, and 15th Avenue N.E. on the east. It opened to the public in 1928. Jackson Park has both a nine-hole par three course and a full eighteen-hole long course. It offers amenities such as a pro shop, cafe and bar, cart rentals, driving range, and putting practice greens. It underwent renovations in 2001 to allow Thornton Creek to flow through in a more environmentally beneficial way. This renovation added much water to the front nine and increased the difficulty significantly. The course also offers junior camps that run throughout the summer. The official course record is 62 and was set by amateur golfer, and former Seattle Mariners pitcher, Erik Hanson in the 2015 Seattle Amateur. Fellow amateur Vinnie Murphy equaled that score in the 2016 edition of the tournament.The neighborhood surrounding the park is sometimes referred to as Jackson Park. Its boundaries are the city of Shoreline to the north, the neighborhood of Lake City to the east, the Northgate area to the south, and the neighborhood of Haller Lake to the west.

Shoreline South/148th station is a planned elevated station on Sound Transit's Lynnwood Link Extension, part of the Link light rail system. It will be located at the intersection of Interstate 5 and State Route 523 (NE 145th Street) in Shoreline and will open in 2024 with the rest of the line. The interchange is currently home to a flyer stop used by King County Metro and Sound Transit Express routes.

Lake Forest Park is a suburban city in King County, Washington, United States, located northeast of Seattle. It was developed in the 20th century as a bedroom community with single-family housing on medium to large-sized lots. Less than 4% of the city's land is zoned commercial, largely concentrated in one location, and there are no industrial areas. The city is situated at the northwest end of Lake Washington along State Route 522, which provides connections to Seattle and Bothell. Lake Forest Park includes several parks and nature reserves, access to the Burke–Gilman Trail, and organized summer events. The population of the city was 12,598 at the 2010 census.
