The Chaussée de Waterloo (French) or Waterloosesteenweg (Dutch), is a long north–south arterial road from Brussels to Waterloo, Belgium. It begins at the Halle Gate in the Brussels municipality of Saint-Gilles, continues a course towards the south-east until the Bascule area of Uccle, then turns south in the direction of Waterloo, where it changes its name to become the Chaussée de Bruxelles and continues in the direction of Genappe and Charleroi (Wallonia) until the regional border. Its length is 12.4 kilometres (7.7 mi) and its width between 15 and 18 metres (49 and 59 ft). Historically, the Chaussée de Waterloo was the main road from Brussels to Charleroi, crossing the Sonian Forest, and it remains one of the region's main arteries. The road crosses several districts, working class at its starting point in Saint-Gilles, but adorned with chic boutiques and restaurants as it progresses towards Waterloo, in particular in the Fort Jaco district in Uccle and in Waterloo itself. It is also home to many neoclassical, Art Nouveau and Art Deco town houses, and other historical buildings. It is served by TEC and De Lijn bus lines numbers 136, 137, and 365, which have replaced the local tram.

The Stade du Vivier d'Oie (Dutch: De Ganzenvijver, English translation: Goose Pond Stadium) is a stadium in the Belgian community of Uccle in the Brussels Capital Region. The stadium lies in the quarter Vivier d'Oie (Dutch: Diesdelle) at the margin of the Soignies Forest. In the first half of the 20th century the football club Racing Club de Bruxelles played here.

The Enfants Noyés Nature Reserve (French: Réserve naturelle des Enfants Noyés, commonly called the Étangs des Enfants Noyés; Dutch: Vijvers van de Verdronken Kinderen) is a nature reserve consisting of three large ponds located in a valley of the Sonian Forest in Brussels. The nature reserve consists of three distinct ponds: The Étang du Fer à Cheval (The Horseshoe Pond), the Étang des Canards Sauvages (The Wild Ducks' Pond) and the Étang du Clos des Chênes (The Oak's Clos Pond).

The European School, Brussels I (ESB1) is a European School located in Uccle, Brussels, Belgium (Uccle site), and Forest, Brussels, Belgium (Berkendael site). Originally the second of the European Schools to be founded, the European School, Brussels I, is today one of four in Brussels, and thirteen such schools across the European Union (EU). It is an all-through school, which exists primarily to provide an education to children of EU staff and officials based in Brussels leading to the European Baccalaureate as their secondary leaving qualification. The Bois de la Cambre (French) or Ter Kamerenbos (Dutch) is an urban public park in Brussels, Belgium. It lies in the south of the Brussels-Capital Region, in the municipality of the City of Brussels, and covers an area of 1.23 km2 (0.47 sq mi), forming a natural offshoot of the Sonian Forest, which penetrates deep into the city in the south-east of Brussels. It is linked to the rest of the municipality by the Avenue Louise/Louizalaan, which was built in 1861, at the same time the park was laid out. The park consists of two large, slightly oval parts. The northern part is the most wooded and is home to some 19th-century buildings. The southern part comprises a 6 hectares (15 acres) large artificial lake with an island in the centre, called Robinson's Island, home to the Chalet Robinson.

The International Puppet Museum - Peruchet (Dutch: Internationaal Marionettenmuseum Peruchet; French: Musée International de la Marionette Peruchet) is a museum in Brussels, Belgium. It is part of the Royal Peruchet Theatre (Théâtre Royal du Peruchet). The theater has a history dating to 1929 and had its heyday in the 1960s when it staged hundreds of performances annually. The museum was established in 1938. The museum is located in an 18th-century farmhouse on Avenue de la Forêt in Ixelles, near the tram from the Boondael station.

Boondaal railway station (Dutch: Station Boondaal) in Elsene, Belgium is a NMBS railway station in Brussels. The station lies on line 26 between the Delta and Vivier d'Oie railway stations, respectively in the municipalities of Auderghem and Uccle. The station offers a connection with tram routes 8 and 25. The stop is the terminus of route 25.
