Saint Mary of Redford Catholic Church

St. Mary's of Redford High School was a coeducational Catholic high school established in 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. DPSCD Virtual School now uses the site.

Thomas M. Cooley High School is an abandoned high school located at the intersection of Hubbell Avenue and Chalfonte Street, on the northwest side of Detroit, Michigan. The three-story, Mediterranean Revival-style facility opened its doors on September 4, 1928. The school was named in honor of Thomas M. Cooley, a nineteenth-century jurist and former Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court. Cooley was also a charter member, and first chairman, of the Federal Interstate Commerce Commission. Due to budget constraints and declining enrollment, Cooley High School was closed at the end of the 2009–2010 academic year. On September 30, 2017, a three-alarm fire severely damaged the auditorium and surrounding rooms.

Rosedale Park is a historic district located in Detroit, Michigan. It is roughly bounded by Lyndon, Outer Drive, Grand River Avenue, Southfield Freeway, Glastonbury Avenue, Lyndon Street and Westwood Drive. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The Rosedale Park district has the largest number of individual properties of any district nominated to the National Register of Historic Places in Michigan, with 1533.The district contains primarily brick houses, and was largely developed from the late 1920s through the 1940s.

Jerry L. White Center is a high school in Detroit, Michigan. It is a part of Detroit Public Schools. The school serves students with disabilities aged 14–19. It includes severely cognitively impaired, severely multiply impaired, moderately cognitively impaired, visually impaired, and hearing-impaired students. It was established in 2005.

Sinai-Grace is one of 10 hospitals in the nation to be awarded a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation grant to set the standards of cardiac care for hospitals and physicians throughout the nation. U.S. News & World Report named Sinai-Grace Hospital as high-performing in stroke, COPD, and heart failure care in 2020.More than 200 medical students and resident physicians in a variety of medical and surgical specialties get their advanced training at Sinai-Grace every year. In addition, nursing and medical students, radiology technicians, pharmacists, physician assistants, pathologists' assistants, and chaplains train at the hospital.

Detroit St. Martin de Porres High School (short form: "Detroit DePorres", "DePorres", or "DP") was a co-educational college preparatory school in Detroit, Michigan and belonged to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. St. Martin de Porres was a member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) and competed athletically in the Catholic High School League (CHSL).

Frank Cody High School is a high school in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Named to honor a former superintendent of Detroit Public Schools, it opened in 1952.

Greenfield is a former civil township of Wayne County, Michigan; it was created from a portion of neighboring Springwells Township in 1833. Greenfield eventually encompassed the survey township T1S R11E. It even had its own police force. By 1875, a series of annexations to Detroit and Highland Park had begun; by 1926, the township of Greenfield had ceased to exist. Today, Greenfield Road follows the former western township boundary between Greenfield and Redford Township. 8 Mile road was the northern boundary of Greenfield Township. Tireman Avenue follows the former southern boundary between Greenfield and Springwells Township.

Brightmoor is a neighborhood located in Detroit, Michigan, near the northwest border of the city. Brightmoor is defined by the Brightmoor Alliance as being bordered by Puritan Avenue to the north, the CSX railway to the south, Evergreen Road to the east, and Outer Drive West, Dacosta Street, and Telegraph Road to the west. However, the demographics given here for the neighborhood are the city's statistical Master Plan Neighborhood area, which consists of eight census tracts that includes some areas outside of the Alliance's boundaries, but does not include some areas within its boundaries.
