Bir Uttom Ziaur Rahman Road is a major commercial road located in the Tejgaon, Mohakhali and Banani area of Dhaka city, Bangladesh. It is currently under the jurisdiction of Dhaka North City Corporation. The some offices of government and private business organizations and banks in Dhaka city are located here. This road is named after Ziaur Rahman, one of the political leaders of Bangladesh and the late President of Bangladesh.

Mohakhali Flyover (Bengali: মহাখালী উড়ালসেতু) is an overpass located at Mohakhali in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is the first flyover completed in Bangladesh. Although the construction of Khilgaon flyover was started first, the construction of Mohakhali flyover was completed earlier and inaugurated before Khilgaon flyover. That is why Mohakhali flyover can be recognized as the country's first flyover. Construction of the Mohakhali flyover began in December 2001 and was opened to traffic in November 2004. The length of this flyover is 1.12 km built with the help of 19 strong pillars. There is a 7.5 m wide road for vehicular movement and a 0.6 m footpath on both sides. The flyover took about three years to complete at a cost of about 114 crore taka.

BAF Shaheen College Dhaka (Bengali: বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা) is a co-education Bangladeshi college (grades KG-XII) established and controlled by the Bangladesh Air Force.

BAF Shaheen College hockey field is a hockey field in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the ground of BAF Shaheen College Hockey Team. It is the only school hockey ground of Bangladesh containing artificial turf. A number of national level tournaments are held there every year. It was constructed in 2014 with a view to provide better infrastructural facilities to its hockey team and to give opportunity at school level to arrange tournaments of international standard. The construction began in December, 2014. It was opened in the end of that month making it the first ever artificial hockey turf of school of Bangladesh.

Mohakhali Bus Terminal is one of three main inter-city bus stations in Dhaka (local name tangail bus stand), opened in 1984. Located in the Mohakhali neighbourhood, it primarily serves destinations in northern Bangladesh, including Tangail, Netrokona, Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Kishoreganj, and Bogra.Renovations to the terminal were completed in 2005. The 15 crore taka ($2.3M) rehabilitation was part of the Dhaka Urban Transport Project, funded by a World Bank loan.The 36,400-square-metre (9.0-acre) site can accommodate 300 buses. As of 2015, companies operate 800 daily trips from the terminal, on 60 different routes.

Shaheenbag (Bengali: শাহীনবাগ) is a neighborhood in Tejgaon Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is a large area in the centre of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. This is an important area of Dhaka city as prime minister's office is located near it. It is bounded by Mohakhali to the north, Old Airport Road to the west, Tejgaon Industrial Area, Kawran Bazar, West Nakhalpara, Tejturi Bazar and Tejkunipara to the south and BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka Cantonment to the east.
