Tyee High School, formerly Tyee Educational Complex, is a public high school campus located in SeaTac, Washington, United States. It was founded as Tyee High School, a single public high school, in 1962. It is operated by the Highline School District. Starting in the 2005–2006 academic year, it was split from a single school into three smaller high schools. In 2011 it was turned into two small schools now known as Academy of Citizenship and Empowerment and Global Connections High School as a part of the small schools movement. It is also a member of the Coalition of Essential Schools.

Global Connections High School was a public high school in SeaTac, Washington. It was one of three small schools at the Tyee Educational Complex, along with the Academy of Citizenship and Empowerment and Odyssey-The Essential School. It was founded in 2005 when Tyee High School converted into three schools, and accredited individually in 2006. Global Connections High School merged with the Academy of Citizenship and Empowerment again after the 2016–2017 school year ended. They are now Tyee High School again. It is operated by the Highline School District. The school's enrollment was 499, as required by the Coalition of Essential Schools in the conditions for the conversion grant. On the complex, Global Connections occupied the 300, 600 and 900 buildings on the east side of the complex. Global Connections combined with the other two Tyee schools to compete in athletics. Though the students who wished to play football had to travel to another school to be a part of their team as they had not had their own football team for quite some time.

Odyssey – The Essential School is a public high school in SeaTac, Washington. It is one of three small schools at the Tyee Educational Complex, along with the Academy of Citizenship and Empowerment and Global Connections High School. It was founded in 2005 when Tyee High School converted into these three schools, and accredited individually in 2006. It is operated by the Highline School District. Odyssey – The Essential School is closed down in 2014 due to overcrowding at Chinook Middle School.The school's enrollment is 68, as required by the Coalition of Essential Schools in the conditions for the conversion grant. On the complex, Odyssey occupies the 800 building, on the top of the hill on the west side of campus, next to Chinook Middle School. Odyssey combines with the other two Tyee schools to compete in athletics.

The Academy of Citizenship and Empowerment (ACE) is a public high school in SeaTac, Washington. It is one of two small schools at the Tyee Educational Complex, along with Global Connections High School. It was founded in 2005 when Tyee High School converted into these two schools, and accredited individually in 2006. It is operated by the Highline School District. The school's enrollment is 410, as required by the Coalition of Essential Schools in the conditions for the conversion grant. On the complex, ACE occupies the classroom portions of the 700 building, which excludes the gymnasiums and locker rooms. ACE combines with the other two Tyee schools to compete in athletics.

Angle Lake is an L-shaped lake in SeaTac, Washington, United States, occupying 102 acres (0.41 km2) between Interstate 5 and State Route 99. The lake most likely was so named on account of its outline. On the western shore is a 10-acre (0.040 km2) park, Angle Lake Park, administered by the City of SeaTac Parks and Recreation department. The remainder of the shoreline is ringed with private homes. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. It is also home to kokanee, largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and yellow perch. The lake is open to fishing year-round.The Angle Lake light rail station is named for the lake, and is located to the southwest.

Westfield Southcenter, formerly known as Southcenter Mall, is a shopping mall located in Tukwila, Washington, United States. Owned by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, it is the largest shopping center in Washington state and the Pacific Northwest. The mall is anchored by Macy's (formerly The Bon Marché), JCPenney, Nordstrom, and Sears (formerly Frederick & Nelson), and also features an AMC movie theater, which opened in 2000. The mall's Sears is one of two remaining in Washington state and among the last 28 stores.

Bow Lake is a small lake in SeaTac, Washington, a city in King County. It is located next to Seattle–Tacoma International Airport, just across Route 99. The lake has played a key role in the airport's history, and the airport was originally named for it. Due to rapid urbanization and alteration of the lake's watershed, water quality has deteriorated significantly. A major drinking water pipeline runs near the lake.

The Interim Computer Museum (ICM) is a non-profit organization based in Tukwila, Washington, United States. It focuses on the preservation, restoration, and public exhibition of vintage computing hardware and software. The museum operates as a 501(c)(3) organization and is affiliated with the SDF Public Access Unix System, a 501(c)(7) member-supported initiative.

Orillia, Washington was a former community, southwest of Renton in the Green River Valley of King County in the U.S. state of Washington. At one time, it had a schoolhouse. Today it lies on the border between the cities of Kent, Tukwila and Renton. A post office called Orillia was established in 1887, and remained in operation until 1964. The community was named after Orillia, Ontario, Canada, the native home of an early settler. In 1959, the cities of Kent and Renton annexed the community.Red Badgro was born in Orillia.

SeaTac/Airport station is a light rail station in SeaTac, Washington, serving Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. It is on the 1 Line between Angle Lake and Tukwila International Boulevard stations. The line, part of Sound Transit's Link light rail system, runs north from SeaTac through the Rainier Valley to Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington. The station consists of an elevated island platform east of the terminals and parking garage of the airport. SeaTac/Airport station opened on December 19, 2009, several months after the rest of the Central Link stations. Until the opening of Angle Lake station in 2016, it served as the line's southern terminus. Trains serve the station twenty hours a day on most days; the headway between trains is six minutes during peak periods, with less frequent service at other times. SeaTac/Airport station is also served by the RapidRide A Line, two Sound Transit Express bus routes and two King County Metro bus routes.

Tukwila International Boulevard station is a light rail station in Tukwila, Washington, United States. It is located between SeaTac/Airport and Rainier Beach stations on the 1 Line from Seattle–Tacoma International Airport to Downtown Seattle. The station consists of two elevated side platforms enclosed within a structure northeast of the interchange of State Route 99 (International Boulevard) and State Route 518. As one of two park and rides along the line, it includes 600 parking spaces in two lots. Tukwila International Boulevard station opened on July 18, 2009, on the first day of Central Link service (now part of the 1 Line). It was the line's terminus until SeaTac/Airport station opened in December 2009. Construction of the station was approved in 1996, but did not begin until 2005 due to routing disputes and planning issues. Trains serve the station twenty hours a day on most days; the headway between trains is six minutes during peak periods, with less frequent service at other times. Tukwila International Boulevard station is also served by King County Metro buses, including two RapidRide limited-stop bus rapid transit routes, which connects it to Downtown Seattle, West Seattle, and various locations in southern King County.
