The West Linn Public Library serves the community of West Linn, Oregon. The library is part of the Library Information Network of Clackamas County (LINCC), a consortium of 13 public libraries in Clackamas County.

Linn City was a community in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, that existed from 1843-1861 and was destroyed in the Great Flood of 1862. The former site of Linn City was incorporated into the city of West Linn.

The Willamette Falls Paper Company (formerly the West Linn Paper Company) is an American paper mill located just above the Willamette Falls on the northwest bank of the Willamette River, in the city of West Linn, Oregon. It sits across the river from the site of the defunct Blue Heron Paper Company in Oregon City.

The Willamette Falls Locks are a lock system on the Willamette River in the U.S. state of Oregon. Opened in 1873 and closed since 2011, they allowed boat traffic on the Willamette to navigate beyond Willamette Falls and the T.W. Sullivan Dam. Since their closure in 2011, the locks have been classified to be in a "non-operational status." In 2023, work began to repair the locks, which are expected to reopen in 2026.Located in the Portland metropolitan area, the four inter-connected locks are 25 miles upriver from the Columbia River at West Linn, just across the Willamette River from Oregon City. The locks were operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and served primarily pleasure boats. Passage through the locks was free for both commercial and recreational vessels. The locks were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and designated as an Oregon Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 1991.The locks comprise seven gates in four chambers which lift up to 50 feet (15 m) elevation change (depending on tides and river flow) with a usable width of 37 feet (11 m). The system is 3,565 feet (1,087 m) long, and can accommodate vessels up to 75 feet (23 m) long. Each of the four concrete constructed chambers are 210 by 40 feet (64 by 12 m).

Mary S. Young Park is a city park in the U.S. state of Oregon. It is located within the city of West Linn, alongside the Willamette River, and is heavily wooded. It offers more than five miles of hiking trails, bicycle trails, picnicking, bird watching, fishing, sports fields, and a very popular dog off-leash area. The park was created via a donation by Mary Scarborough Young and her husband Thomas E. Young. It was named after Mrs. Young and dedicated on August 7, 1973. It was once owned by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, but is now owned and operated by the West Linn Parks and Recreation. "Mary S. Young Park offers you a peaceful place to walk or sit by the Willamette River. About 128 acres, this quiet, forested park is a favorite for urban birders. As you walk deeper into the forest on the numerous trails (5-8 miles worth), it’s easy to forget you’re in a city.""It's a quick but refreshing stop if you don't have time for a drive to the country. Plenty of room for kids to play on the sports fields, a restroom, shelter (that can be reserved), and an area for dogs to run unleashed."

The Oregon City Masonic Lodge, also known as Masonic Temple Multnomah No. 1, is an historic building in Oregon City, Oregon, United States. The Masonic building went on the market in 2012.

The Blue Heron Paper Company was a paper mill at Willamette Falls in Oregon City, Oregon, on the southeast bank of the river across from the Willamette Falls Paper Company, the T.W. Sullivan hydroelectric plant, and the Willamette Falls Locks and canal. In its operation from 2000 to 2011, the mill produced recycled paper products ranging from newsprint to paper bags. Facing increased competition from China, the company filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009. By 2011, the mill could no longer remain in operation due to the rising paper prices and lack of investors.The confederated Tribes of Grande Ronde acquired control of the land in 2019 for $15.25 million, and are now planning a cultural and community center. Four other tribes cite ancestral connections to the area. Said Trustee Toby Patrick, "Money makes a huge difference in everything that we do, and it takes us away from who we truly are as Indian people, and how we survived before we had money. We had each other and that's how we survived."

The Bank of Commerce Building is an historic building in Oregon City, Oregon, United States. In the early 2010s, the building's owners requested urban renewal grant funding in the amount of $40,000 to renovate exterior brick, masonry, and terra cotta, and add awnings and windows. The building houses the restaurants Ingrid's Scandinavian Food and Second Son Kimbap, as of late 2017.

The Richard B. Petzold Building, also known as the Noble Building, is an historic building in Oregon City, Oregon, United States. It was completed c. 1905, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The McLoughlin Promenade is a scenic pathway located on Singer Hill Bluff, on the southeast bank of the Willamette River overlooking Oregon City in the U.S. state of Oregon. It was constructed 1936–1939 on land once inhabited by the Molala and other indigenous peoples. Named after Oregon pioneer John McLoughlin who donated his personal real estate for the purpose of a city promenade, the design and implementation of it was part of a joint public works effort between Oregon and the United States government. The pathway courses 100 feet (30 m) above Oregon City and features the Grand Staircase and the man-made Singer Creek Falls. Lighting was added by the local Kiwanis club in 1972, and the Lee Kelly Moontrap bas-relief addition at the bottom of the falls was sponsored by the Rotary Club in 2011.
