Arkhitektora Beketova (Ukrainian: Архітектора Бекетова, (listen)) is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Oleksiivska Line. The station opened on 6 May 1995.

Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy (Ukrainian: Харківський національний університет міського господарства, Kharkivskiy natsionalniy universitet mis'koho hospodarstva; before 2013 — academy) is a Ukrainian university in Kharkiv, named after Alexei N. Beketov and specializing in urban development studies.

Mirror Stream (Ukrainian: Дзеркальний струмінь, Dzerkalʹnyi struminʹ; Russian: Зеркальная струя, Zerkalʹnaya struya) is a fountain in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The natural fountain was discovered in 1947.The fountain is near the Kharkiv Philharmonic. It was built in 1947. It remains one of the most remarkable architectural monuments in Kharkiv and, due to that, has been listed in UNESCO's Encyclopedia. A "Komsomol Heroes Alley" with busts of young World War II heroes was located behind the fountain from 1958 until 2013. The busts were removed during the construction of the new church Khram Svyatykh Zhon-Myronosytsʹ, due to the 2015 decommunization laws they have never returned.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Ukrainian: Кафедральний собор Успіння Пресвятої Діви Марії ) also called Assumption Cathedral is the name given to a religious building affiliated with the Catholic Church that follows the Roman or Latin rite and is located in the city of Kharkiv in Kharkiv Oblast in east part of the European country of Ukraine. The temple was built in neo-Gothic style between 1887 and 1892 on Gogol Street. In the thirties of the twentieth century, during the period of the Soviet Union the church was closed and turned into secular Local housed, among others, a cinema and an installation of the Communist Party. In 1992 the temple was returned to the Catholic faithful. Since 2002 is the cathedral of the new diocese of Kharkiv - Zaporizhzhia (Dioecesis Kharkiviensis-Zaporizhiensis, Харківсько-Запорізька дієцезія) that was created by bull "Ad plenius prospiciendum" of Pope John Paul II.

The Kharkiv Art School building (Ukrainian: Будівля Харківського художнього училища) is an architectural monument of the early 20th century, constructed in the style of Ukrainian Art Nouveau. It is located in the centre of Kharkiv, on Mystetstv Street (formerly Kaplunivska Street). The structure was built between 1912 and 1913 as a specialised facility for the Kharkiv Art School (now the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts), one of the oldest art educational institutions in Ukraine. The project architect was Kostiantyn Mykolaiovych Zhukov.

The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (Ukrainian: Харківська державна академія дизайну та мистецтв) or KSADA (Ukrainian: ХДАДМ) is an art institute in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Founded in 1921, it is one of the oldest Ukrainian higher education institutions. It is operated under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine as a public university, and holds level IV accreditation in Ukraine. The academy is structured into four faculties: the Faculty of Fine Art, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Environmental Design and the Faculty of Audiovisual and Extramural Studies.

The Kharkiv government building airstrike occurred on March 1, 2022, when Russian forces attacked the government administrative building of the Kharkiv oblast in the Kharkiv city.

The Universytet (Ukrainian: Університет, (listen), Russian: Университет) is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Saltivska Line. The station was opened on 10 August 1984 and is located beneath the Ploscha Svobody, at the time, the largest square in Europe and the second largest in the world after Tiananmen Square, in the centre of Kharkiv. The station is named after the Kharkiv National University, which is located on top of the square. Up until 1994 the station was called Dzerzhinska according to the name of the square Poloscha Dzerzhinskoho, (Dzherzhinsky square) after the founder of the Soviet Secret Police Felix Dzerzhinsky. It currently forms a complex with the adjacent station Derzhprom on the Oleksiivska Line. The station is located deep underground and is a bi-level pillar-trispan with blank marble columns. The station's service rooms are located on one of the second level balconies, and the other balcony is used as an underground passenger transfer for when there are fairs and concerts on the Ploscha Svobody. The underground transfer was once used for daily passenger usage during the 1980s, but was closed down during the early 1990s. There are six-meter cupolas in diameter, each hanging 12 meters apart and weighing 120 tons, are incorporated into the ceiling, in which the station's chandeliers hang. The station itself is 13 meters in width, due to the transfer point to the Derzhprom station on the Oleksiyivsky Line. The transfer itself was supposed to include escalator access to passengers, but as there was an economic crisis in the country, the escalators were abandoned and replaced with regular stairs. A large portrait of Felix Dzerzhinsky was located on the station which was later removed after the renovation of the station. Station vestibules are located on both ends of the station, which have been linked with a network of underground passenger tunnels which have many small shops.

The Ivan Boiko House (Ukrainian: Будинок Івана Бойка) is a architectural and urban planning monument in the Ukrainian Art Nouveau style, located in the center of Kharkiv at 44 Myronosytska Street. The building was constructed between 1912 and 1914 as a revenue house (apartment building for rent) based on a design by architects Serhii Tymoshenko, Pavlo Shyrshov, and Pavlo Sokolov. Renowned artists Mykola Samokysh and Serhii Vasylkivsky decorated the stairwells with murals and panels.

The Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre was a theater in Kharkiv, Ukraine. It was heavily damaged and possibly destroyed in March 2022 during the Battle of Kharkiv (2022) in the ongoing 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine when Russian forces attacked Freedom Square. The postmodern theater building was built in 1991 and featured tufa tiles. A student-led study at the Kharkiv School of Architecture found that the theater was considered a "community hub" and that the exterior was popular with skateboarders.Notable performances at the venue include a 2019 production of the ballet Swan Lake, choreographed by Johan Nus, which used 42 tons of water. On December 23, 2020, the opera house was the site of the funeral for Kharkiv mayor Hennadii Kernes.
