Arkhitektora Beketova (Ukrainian: Архітектора Бекетова, (listen)) is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Oleksiivska Line. The station opened on 6 May 1995.

The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (Ukrainian: Харківська державна академія дизайну та мистецтв) or KSADA (Ukrainian: ХДАДМ) is an art institute in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Founded in 1921, it is one of the oldest Ukrainian higher education institutions. It is operated under the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine as a public university, and holds level IV accreditation in Ukraine. The academy is structured into four faculties: the Faculty of Fine Art, the Faculty of Design, the Faculty of Environmental Design and the Faculty of Audiovisual and Extramural Studies.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kharkiv-Zaporizhzhia (Latin: Dioecesis Kharkiviensis-Zaporizhiensis) is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church in Ukraine. Pavlo Honcharuk is the current bishop of the diocese. The diocesan seat is the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kharkiv, and the co-cathedral is the Co-Cathedral of the Merciful Father in Zaporizhzhia.

The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Ukrainian: Кафедральний собор Успіння Пресвятої Діви Марії ) also called Assumption Cathedral is the name given to a religious building affiliated with the Catholic Church that follows the Roman or Latin rite and is located in the city of Kharkiv in Kharkiv Oblast in east part of the European country of Ukraine. The temple was built in neo-Gothic style between 1887 and 1892 on Gogol Street. In the thirties of the twentieth century, during the period of the Soviet Union the church was closed and turned into secular Local housed, among others, a cinema and an installation of the Communist Party. In 1992 the temple was returned to the Catholic faithful. Since 2002 is the cathedral of the new diocese of Kharkiv - Zaporizhzhia (Dioecesis Kharkiviensis-Zaporizhiensis, Харківсько-Запорізька дієцезія) that was created by bull "Ad plenius prospiciendum" of Pope John Paul II.

Mirror Stream (Ukrainian: Дзеркальний струмінь, Dzerkalʹnyi struminʹ; Russian: Зеркальная струя, Zerkalʹnaya struya) is a fountain in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The natural fountain was discovered in 1947.The fountain is near the Kharkiv Philharmonic. It was built in 1947. It remains one of the most remarkable architectural monuments in Kharkiv and, due to that, has been listed in UNESCO's Encyclopedia. A "Komsomol Heroes Alley" with busts of young World War II heroes was located behind the fountain from 1958 until 2013. The busts were removed during the construction of the new church Khram Svyatykh Zhon-Myronosytsʹ, due to the 2015 decommunization laws they have never returned.

Kharkiv State Scientific Library of Vladimir Korolenko (Ukrainian: Kharkhiv'ska derzhavna naukova biblioteka im. V. G. Korolenka) – second by book fund after the Library of Vernadsky in Kyiv, Ukraine. There are 12 reading rooms for 524 places. Annually, to library comes up to 70 thousand documents (books, magazines, newspapers, databases and electronic documents on CD-ROM, etc.) An extensive system of reference – HDNB bibliography contains more than 60 directories and files including electronic, bibliography fund computerized database, printed catalogs and consolidated fund made references.

Kyivskyi District (Ukrainian: Київський район) is an urban district of the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine, named after the capital city of Ukraine Kyiv. It is the biggest raion of the city and one of the oldest. The district was created in 1937 when Petynsko-Zhuravlivskyi District was split into Kahanovychskyi and Stalinskyi districts. In 1957 Kahanovchskyi District was renamed into Kyivskyi.

The National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute" (NTU "KhPI") (Ukrainian: Національний технічний університет "Харківський політехнічний інститут"), in the city of Kharkiv, is the largest and oldest technical university in eastern Ukraine. Founded in 1885, it is the second-oldest technical university in the former Russian Empire (after Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology) and in the territory of modern Ukraine (after Lviv Polytechnic).

The Maidan Konstytutsii (Ukrainian: Майдан Конституції, (listen) - Constitution Square) is a station on Kharkiv Metro's Kholodnohirsko–Zavodska Line. The station was opened on 23 August 1975. It is located in the historical part of Kharkiv, beneath the Maidan Konstytutsii (Constitution square), previously known as Soviet Square. The Maidan Konstytutsii station forms a complex with the adjacent station, Istorychnyi Muzei, on the Saltivska Line. Before the Istorychniy Muzei station's completion in 1984, a relief marble architectural item adorned with the hammer and sickle was located on the station. Inside the passenger transfer tunnel is the Kharkiv Metro's only public restroom, which is unlike the western European metro systems. Early during the planning stage, the station was to be called Tsentr, literally Centre, and to be built in the vicinity of the Tsentralny Restaurant. But because of the hydro-geological circumstances in the area, also affecting the construction of neighbouring stations, the station was moved to the northern end of the Constitution Square. Inside the cashier hall columns hold up the ceiling. They are made of marble blocks, the lower half being made of dark tones, gradually moving on into whiter tones. The station vestibule is lightened with luminescent lamps, put inside niches within the ceiling. The vestibule's area is 500 square meters, which due to the high passenger traffic, caused by the station being a transfer to another station. The Maidan Konstytutsii station is deep underground and is a pylon three-vaulted structure which is separated by arcades of the tracks. It was designed by V.A. Krasnolobov, N.P. Nikulin, and P.G. Chechelnitskiy; engineered by P.A. Bochikashvili, Y.E. Kryk and V.A. Tovalyuk; and decorated by D.G. Sova. The partitions the tracks have been held with are made of rose marble from Uzbekistan, and the arcades themselves have been finished with blank marble. The marble harmonizes with the floor which has been paved with red and black blocks of polished granite. Until the end of 1985, the station hall was lighted with lights placed inside original geometrical forms. In the next year, the geometrical lamp forms were replaced by different metal forms. In connection with the 350th anniversary of Kharkiv in 2003, the stations, including Ploshcha Konstytutsii, were lightened with brighter lamps. Until 20 November 2015, the station was named Radianska (in Russian, 'Sovetskaya'). On that day the Kharkiv city council renamed the station to comply with decommunization laws.

The Kharkiv Ukrainian Drama Theatre also known as the Taras Shevchenko Kharkiv Academic Ukrainian Drama Theatre is a national theatre founded in 1935 out of remnants of the suppressed Berezil Theatre, which was founded by Les Kurbas in 1922. Kharkiv Ukrainian Drama Theatre has two stages: Main Stage (900 seats) and Small Stage "Berezil" (115 seats).The theater's repertoire was formed by directors trained in Konstantin Stanislavsky's school, and since 1990s by directors trained by Anatoly Vasiliev. Over the years the theater's ensemble included many renowned artists such as Vadym Meller (stage designer), Leonid Bykov (actor), Amvrosy Buchma (actor, star of the film Ivan the Terrible), Andriy Zholdak (theatre director), Andrzej Szczytko (theatre director).From 2002 to 2005, Andriy Zholdak was the artistic director of the theatre, where he produced five plays, which, apart from Ukraine, were also presented in many European countries including Germany, France, Finland, Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Romania and Russia, at well known festivals. In 2005, after Kharkiv authorities prohibited his staging of Romeo and Juliet. A Fragment Zholdak was forced to leave the theatre.In 2004, the theatre's ensemble was named by ITI - UNESCO critics as one of the best ensembles in Europe.

Pushkinska (Ukrainian: Пушкінська, (listen)) is a station on the Kharkiv Metro's Saltivska Line. Construction on the station began on 16 April 1977, and it opened on 10 August 1984, which made it the eighth station of the Saltivska Line. It is located in Kharkiv's city center, beneath the intersection of the "Petrovskoho" and "Pushkinska" streets, for which the station is named. The Pushkinska station lies more than 30 metres (98 ft) underground which makes it the deepest station of the Kharkiv Metro system.

The Kharkiv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre was a theater in Kharkiv, Ukraine. It was heavily damaged and possibly destroyed in March 2022 during the Battle of Kharkiv (2022) in the ongoing 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine when Russian forces attacked Freedom Square. The postmodern theater building was built in 1991 and featured tufa tiles. A student-led study at the Kharkiv School of Architecture found that the theater was considered a "community hub" and that the exterior was popular with skateboarders.Notable performances at the venue include a 2019 production of the ballet Swan Lake, choreographed by Johan Nus, which used 42 tons of water. On December 23, 2020, the opera house was the site of the funeral for Kharkiv mayor Hennadii Kernes.
