The Memorial to the Victims of December 1970 (Polish: Pomnik Ofiar Grudnia 1970), also colloquially known as the Angel of Freedom (Polish: Anioł Wolności), is a monument in Szczecin, Poland, placed at the Solidarity Square, within the Old Town neighbourhood. The monument is dedicated to the victims of the suppression of December 1970 protests in Szczecin. Made from bronze, it has a form of a statue of an angel, holding a crown of thorns forming a text which reads "Grudzień 1970" and translates from Polish to December 1970, and standing on a boat emerging from the ground. It was designed by Czesław Dźwigaj, and unveiled on 28 August 2005.

The King's Gate (Polish: Brama Królewska; German: Königstor), formerly known as the Anklam Gate (Polish: Brama Anklamska, Brama Nakielska; German: Anklamer Tor), and sometimes also referred to as the Prussian Homage Gate (Polish: Brama Hołdu Pruskiego), is a historic Baroque city gate in Szczecin, Poland, located at the Prussian Homage Square (Polish: Plac Hołdu Pruskiego), at the intersection of Matejki Street and Polish Soldier Square. It was constructed between 1725 and 1728, with the project being designed by Gerhard Cornelius van Wallrawe, and its elaborate façade sculptures done by Bartholomé Damart. It served as the northern entrace to the city, and was part of the fortification walls, until 1841, when they were deconstructed. Currently, it houses a confectionery store.

The Statue of Flora in Szczecin is a baroque monument to Flora, a goddess of flowers and spring, located at White Eagle Square (Polish: Plac Orła Białego) in Szczecin (the Old Town). The statue was made of sandstone around 1730 by German sculptor Johann Georg Glume to a design by Johann Konrad Koch. The sculpture group consists of Flora holding a basket of flowers, along with a putto on either side: one climbing on a horn of plenty; one sitting by another basket of flowers. It was destroyed during the Second World War and restored in 1953.

The White Eagle Square (Polish: Plac Orła Białego; German: Weißen Adlers Platz), prior to 1945 known as the Horse Market Square (Polish: Rynek Koński; German: Roßmarkt), is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland, within the Old Town neighbourhood of the Downtown district. It is located between Koński Kierat, Bogdanki, Grodzka, and Staromłyńska Streets. It is surrounded by historic tenement houses and apartment buildings, including Globe and Ionic Palaces dating to the 18th century, and 1891, respectily, and features 18th-century sculptures of the White Eagle Fountain and the Statue of Flora. Until 18th century, it functioned as a marketplace, which existence was recorded as far back as the 12th century.

The White Eagle Fountain (Polish: Fontanna Orła Białego; German: Brunnen des Weißen Adlers), known until 1945 as the Horse Market Fountain (German: Brunnen auf dem Roßmarkt; Roßmarktbrunnen), is a Baroque sandstone fountain in Szczecin, Poland. It is placed at the White Eagle Square, in front of the Globe Palace, within the Old Town neighbourhood of the Downtown district. The fountain was designed by Johann Friedrich Grael, and sculptured by Johann Konrad Koch, and unveiled on 15 August 1732.

The Ducal Castle, also known as the Pomeranian Dukes' Castle, and Szczecin Castle, is a renaissance castle in the city of Szczecin, Poland, located at the Castle Hill in the Stare Miasto (Old Town) neighbourhood, near the Oder river. It is built in the gothic and Pomeranian mannerism architectural style. The castle was the seat of the dukes of Pomerania-Stettin of the House of Pomerania, who ruled the Duchy of Pomerania from 1121 to 1637. The building history originates in 1346, when duke Barnim III began the construction of the ducal housing complex, and continues to 1428, when, under the rule of Casimir V, it was expanded, forming the castle. Currently, it is one of the largest cultural centres in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland.

Szczecin Cathedral, in full the Archcathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle (Polish: Bazylika archikatedralna św. Jakuba Apostoła), is a Gothic cathedral located in Szczecin, Poland and seat of the Archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamień. Built in the 12th-14th centuries, it is the second tallest church in Poland, the largest church in the region of Western Pomerania, and one of the most distinctive landmarks of the Szczecin Old Town.

The Archdiocese of Szczecin-Kamień (Latin: Sedinen(sis) – Caminen(sis)) is an archdiocese located in the cities of Szczecin and Kamień Pomorski in Poland. With 24,3% of its population attending church services weekly or more in 2013 it is the least devoutly religious diocese in Poland.

Stare Miasto (lit. Old Town; German: Altstadt) is a municipal neighbourhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland, situated on the left bank of the Oder river. It is the oldest historical district in the city. As of March 2021 it had a population of 3,901.

The Hay Market Square (Polish: Rynek Sienny; German: Heumarkt) is an urban square in Szczecin, Poland. It is located between Sienna and Księcia Mściwoja II Streets, within the Old Town neighbourhood of the Downtown district. It was developed in the Middle Ages as a market place. One of buildings neighbouring it is the Old Town Hall, dating to the 15th century.

The Old Town Hall in Szczecin (Polish: Ratusz Staromiejski w Szczecinie, German: Altes Rathaus Stettin) is the present day town hall in the old town district. It was built for the municipal government in the 15th century. Today it is used as a history museum.

The Palace of the Pomeranian Estates Assembly (Polish: Pałac Sejmu Stanów Pomorskich), also known as the Old Estates Building (Polish: Stary Dom Ziemiaństwa; German: Altes Landeshaus), is a historical Baroque palace in Szczecin, Poland, located at 27 Staromłyńska Street in the Old Town neighbourhood. It houses the Museum of Regional Traditions, a division of the National Museum in Szczecin. It was designed by Gerhard Cornelius van Wallrawe, and constructed between 1726 and 1729. It originally housed the Pomeranian Estates Assembly, a governing body of the Province of Pomerania, and also served as the royal residence for when the monarch of Prussia would visit the city. From 1823 to 1927, it hosted of the Provincial Assembly of the Province of Pomerania, and from 1928 to 1945, it was used by the Pomeranian State Museum, which was then replaced by the Szczecin National Museum.
