New Delhi railway station (station code: NDLS) is the main railway station in Delhi, situated between Ajmeri Gate and Paharganj. It is one of the busiest railway station in the country in terms of train frequency and passenger movement. Around 480 trains start, end, or pass through the station daily, which handled 500,000 passengers daily in 2013 with 16 platforms. The New Delhi railway station holds the record for the largest route interlocking system in the world along with the Kanpur Central railway station i.e. 48. The station is about two kilometres north of Connaught Place, in central Delhi. Most eastbound and southbound trains originate at New Delhi railway station; however, some important trains to other parts of the country also touch/originate at this station. Most pairs of Shatabdi Express originate and terminate at this station. It is also the main hub for the Rajdhani Express. New Delhi railway station is the highest-earning railway station in Indian Railways based on passenger revenue followed by Howrah Junction.

New Delhi is a station on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro. It is within walking distance from the Indian Railways New Delhi railway station. It is on the New Delhi Metro (Platform Number 16) side of the New Delhi Railway Station. The Airport Express also terminates at New Delhi Metro Station. Check-in facilities of some of the carriers including Air India are available at this station. A skywalk connecting the station with the New Delhi railway station was opened to the public in February 2022.

Madrasa Ghaziuddin Khan is a historical madrasa complex located by the Ajmeri Gate in Old Delhi, India. It was founded around the 18th century by Ghaziuddin Khan I, a leading noble of the Mughal empire. Following the discontinuation of its original function as a madrasa, it successively housed colonial-era educational institutions, such as Delhi College and the Anglo-Arabic school. Today, the Zakir Husain Delhi College operates in its premises, making the madrasa the oldest continuing educational centre in the city of Delhi. The structure is one of the few surviving historical madrasas in India, and one of even fewer madrasas dating back to the Mughal period. The complex also contains a mosque, and the tomb of Ghaziuddin Khan. The complex is an example of later Mughal architecture - it displays Central Asian inspiration in its format, and Shah Jahani elements in its scheme.

The Anglo Arabic Senior Secondary School or more commonly, Anglo Arabic School, is a co-educational government aided school in New Delhi, India. The school is managed by Delhi Education Society. Prof. Najma Akhtar is the president of the School Managing Committee and Prof. Mohd Muslim Khan is the manager of the school. It was founded in 1696 by Ghazi ud-Din Khan Feroze Jung I.

Lutyens' Delhi is an area in Delhi, India, named after the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869–1944), who was responsible for much of the architectural design and building during the period of the British Raj, when India was part of the British Empire in the 1920s and 1930s and 1940s. This also includes the Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ). Sir Edwin Lutyens, the architect of Delhi, designed 4 bungalows in the Rashtrapati Bhavan Estate, (Viceroy House Estate); now, these bungalows lie on the Mother Teresa Crescent (then Willingdon Crescent). Lutyens, apart from designing the Viceroy's House, designed large government building and was involved with town planning.Sir Herbert Baker, who also designed with the Secretariat Buildings (North and South Block), designed bungalows on the then King George's Avenue (south of the Secretariats) for high-ranking officials. Other members of the team of architects were Robert Tor Russell, who built Connaught Place, the Eastern and Western Courts on Janpath, Teen Murti House (formerly called Flagstaff House), Safdarjung Airport (formerly Willingdon Airfield), Irwin Amphitheatre (renamed Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium) and several government houses, William Henry Nicholls, CG Blomfield, FB Blomfield, Walter Sykes George, Arthur Gordon Shoosmith and Henry Medd.It is on the 2002 World Monuments Watch list of 100 Most Endangered Sites made by World Monuments Fund, a heritage organization based in New York.

New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 7 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 1951. It is the oldest constituency of Delhi that currently exists.

G.B. Road, Garstin Bastion Road, (officially changed to Swami Shradhanand Marg in 1966) is a road running from Ajmeri Gate to Lahori Gate in Delhi, India. It is a large red-light district. It has several hundred multi-storey brothels and there are estimated to be over 1000 sex workers. It is lined with two or three-storey buildings that have shops on ground floor. About twenty of these buildings have about 100 brothels on the first floor that open at night after the shops at ground level close. It is the biggest red light area in Delhi.

A.J.K. Mass Communication Research Centre (AJK MCRC) is a mass communication research centre located in New Delhi, India and a constituent institute of the Jamia Millia Islamia. The full form for AJK MCRC is Anwar Jamal Kidwai Mass Communication Research Centre named after its founder Anwar Jamal Kidwai in 1982.A.J. Kidwai established the MCRC in collaboration with York University, Toronto and the Canadian International Development Agency. The CIDA provided the MCRC with a range of sophisticated production equipment while York University sent the first generation of teachers. The team from York was led by distinguished documentary filmmaker James Beveridge, a close associate of documentary pioneer John Grierson, founder of the National Film Board of Canada.

The Rajiv Chowk is a Delhi Metro station in Delhi, on the Blue and Yellow Lines. It is a transfer station between the Blue Line on the upper level and the Yellow Line on the lower level.It is one of the busiest stations on the network, serving Rajiv Chowk in the heart of Delhi. It handles 5 lakh passengers every day. Connaught Place metro station has area of about 39,503 square feet (3,669.9 m2).Many businesses and important buildings, restaurants, and cinemas are situated just outside the station. The station is constructed below Central Park. Connaught Place is officially known as Rajiv Chowk, formerly known as Connaught Circus. In September 1995, the Home Ministry decreed that henceforth, the 75-year-old Connaught Place (CP) will be known as Rajiv Chowk and Connaught Circus as Indira Chowk.

It was developed as a showpiece of Lutyens' Delhi with a prominent Central Business District (Delhi). Named after Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, construction work began in 1929 and was completed in 1933. It was designed by Robert Tor Russell. It was renamed in 1995 after former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi.The area today falls under the jurisdiction of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and is therefore allotted a high priority in term of funds for maintenance and upkeep. New Delhi Traders Association (NDTA) is the association of establishments (like retails stores, restaurants, halls, offices) in Connaught Place. NDTA also plays a major role in liaising with government bodies like NDMC in order to represent the commercial interests and maintenance issues of Connaught Place establishments. A metro railway station built under it is also named Rajiv Chowk metro station.
