Nangli Wazidpur is a village in the western part of the state of Uttar Pradesh. It forms part of the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority's planned industrial city, Noida, falling in Sector-135, noida. Nangli Wazidpur is about 25 kilometers (12 mi) southeast of New Delhi and Nangli Wazidpur is around 900 meters from Yamuna Expressway, formerly known as Taj Expressway, and opposite Sector 93. The village is a part of the Dadri Vidhan Sabha (state assembly) constituency and Gautam Buddh Nagar Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency. In terms of caste structure, Rajputs (Hindus) are the majority in this village. The village was founded by "Chaudhary Kishanshah Chauhan " a Great social reformer from Honi family.

It is also ranked the cleanest city in medium category cities (cities with a population of 300,000 to 1,000,000) and 4th cleanest city among cities with less than 1,000,000 people.

It was commissioned by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati and inaugurated on 14 October 2011. Worlds of Wonder is an amusement and water park located in Sector-38A, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar District, Uttar Pradesh, nearby to Delhi, India. The park is owned and operated by Entertainment City Limited, a joint venture of International Amusement Limited and Unitech Holdings Ltd.The park opened in mid 2007 and includes over 20 rides, a water park and a go-kart.

Okhla Bird Sanctuary is a bird sanctuary at the Okhla barrage over Yamuna River. It is situated in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district, on Delhi-Uttar Pradesh state border and known as a haven for over 300 bird species, especially waterbirds. In 1990, an area of 3.5 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi) on the river Yamuna was designated a bird sanctuary by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. The site is located at the point where the river enters Uttar Pradesh. The most prominent feature of the sanctuary is the large lake created by damming the river, which lies between Okhla village to the west and Gautam Budh Nagar to the east. The Okhla Bird Sanctuary (OBS) is roughly 4 square kilometres in size and is situated at the entrance of NOIDA in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at a point where river Yamuna enters in the state of Uttar Pradesh leaving the territory of Delhi. It is one among fifteen bird sanctuaries in the state. The bird species of thorny scrub, grassland and wetland are seen in the sanctuary due its location. This wetland was formed by the creation of Okhla Barrage. The Uttar Pradesh Government designated this a sanctuary in the year 1990. It is now one of the 466 IBAs (Important Bird Areas) in India.
