The Superior Court of California, County of San Luis Obispo, also known as the San Luis Obispo County Superior Court or San Luis Obispo Superior Court, is the branch of the California superior court with jurisdiction over San Luis Obispo County.

The First Presbyterian Church in downtown San Luis Obispo, California is located at 981 Marsh Street on the corner of Marsh and Morro Streets. It holds Sunday services and also midweek gatherings. The Kundert Medical Clinic is a building in San Luis Obispo, California, United States, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and was completed in 1956. It is notable for being one of the few commercial buildings designed by Wright. Dr. Karl Kundert and his tenant, Dr. Fogo, were both ophthalmologists from Wisconsin and were familiar with Wright's work. (Storrer, 425) The construction of the building was supervised by Wright protégé, Aaron Green. This building is now occupied by cardiologist Kenneth Tway, MD.

The San Luis Obispo Carnegie Library is a Carnegie library located at 696 Monterey St. in San Luis Obispo, California. The library building was funded by the Carnegie foundation in 1903 and built in 1905; it housed the city's subscription library program, which had operated since 1894. William H. Weeks, who designed 21 Carnegie libraries in California, designed the San Luis Obispo library in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. The library's design includes a tall hipped roof with two gabled wings, decorations including gargoyles in the gable ends, and an entrance portico with multiple round arches. The building is mainly faced in red brick with yellow sandstone trim, but the basement is faced in dark gray granite. The library operated until 1955 and became a county historical museum the following year.The library building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1995.

Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa (Spanish: Misión San Luis Obispo de Tolosa) is a Spanish mission founded September 1, 1772 by Father Junípero Serra in San Luis Obispo, California. Named after Saint Louis of Anjou, the bishop of Toulouse, the mission is the namesake of San Luis Obispo. The mission offers public tours of the church and grounds. The Mission of San Luis Obispo is unusual in its design, in that its combination of belfry and vestibule are found nowhere else among the California missions. Like other churches, the main nave is short and narrow, but at the San Luis Obispo Mission, there is a secondary nave of almost equal size situated to the right of the altar, making it the only L-shaped mission church in California.

The Dallidet Adobe and Gardens is a California Historical Landmark (#720) in San Luis Obispo, California. The site was originally the property of Pierre Hypolite Dallidet, who came to San Francisco in search of gold in 1850.His son, Paul Dallidet, transferred it to the San Luis Obispo County Historical Society in 1953, in his family's memory.

Bubblegum Alley is a tourist attraction in downtown San Luis Obispo, California, known for its accumulation of used bubble gum on the walls of an alley. It is a 15-foot (4.6 m) high and 70-foot (21 m) long alley lined with chewed gum left by passers-by. It covers a stretch of 20 meters in the 700 block of Higuera Street in downtown San Luis Obispo.

The Myron Angel House is a historic house located at 714 Buchon St. in San Luis Obispo, California. Built circa 1880, the house has a vernacular design which does not follow a particular architectural style. The two-story wood-frame house has redwood siding, a shingled gable roof, and some Eastlake details in the window surrounds and gable ends. The house was once the home of Myron Angel, the main figure in the establishment of California Polytechnic State University. Angel, who lived in the house from 1889 to his 1911 death, proposed and lobbied for the creation of a polytechnic school in California; it was mainly due to his campaign that Cal Poly was founded in San Luis Obispo. In addition to his educational activism, Angel was also an influential journalist and historian.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 22, 1982.

The Robert Jack House, at 536 Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo, California, is a two-story Italianate-style historic house. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The listing included two contributing buildings.The Jack House is now owned by the City of San Luis Obispo. Volunteer docents offer guided tours on Sundays from April through November, and the house is also open for holiday celebrations and special events. The house was built by, and was a home of, Robert Edgar Jack (died 1916), who was "a prominent banker and land developer and wool grower in Central California.": 8  The house was deemed significant for its association with Jack. He lived there from 1882 until his death. Jack, as a banker and a leading citizen, was quite involved in promoting the development of railroad through the central coast, and also benefited economically from the railroad. The house is also perhaps of significance architecturally as a good example of Italianate architecture.
