The Central Sports Centre Torwar (formerly known as Hala Torwar, commonly referred to as the Arena COS Torwar) is an indoor arena in Warsaw, Poland. It opened in 1953 and seats 4,824 people in the stands, with up to an additional 1,480 seats available to add on the floor. It is located adjacent to Stadion Wojska Polskiego and is primarily used for popular music concerts, ice hockey and other indoor sports, and it is the home of the hockey team UHKS Mazowsze. Torwar Hall hosted the 2001 Saporta Cup final in which Maroussi BC defeated Elan Sportif Chalonnais. On 22–28 January 2007 the Hall hosted the 2007 European Figure Skating Championships and the arena hosted a Preliminary round group of the EuroBasket 2009. It has also hosted a number of Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) mixed martial arts events. In 1984 Iron Maiden played the opening night of their 197 concert World Slavery Tour to a capacity crowd at Torwar with thousands of fans listening outside the venue. In 1985 Depeche Mode played one of their first concerts in Eastern Europe in Torwar.OneRepublic performed at this venue on 2 November 2014 during the European leg of their Native Tour. Def Leppard played here in 2015 with support from hometown heroes Lessdress, Poland's best known glam/sleaze rock band.Evanescence performed there on 20 June 2017 during their European tour. Rapper Macklemore will perform here on 26 April 2018 during his Gemini Tour.

Żyleta (Polish pronunciation: [ʐɨˈlɛta], English: the Razor) is a common name of a northern stand at the Stadion Wojska Polskiego in Warsaw, Poland, traditionally occupied by the most spontaneous and fanatical fans of Legia Warsaw football club. Before the stadium renovation (2008–2011), the "old" Żyleta referred only to the center section within the eastern stand of the stadium (occasionally, it would also refer to eastern stand as a whole). There is a special exhibition dedicated to the "old" Żyleta in the Legia club museum. Today, after the stadium renovation, the "new" Żyleta means the whole northern stand of stadium (located behind the goal). The eastern stand of the stadium was constructed in the 1930s. Until the late 1970s, the stand was simply referred to as the "open" stand (in contrast to the "covered" western stand, which was fully roofed). The eastern stand was nicknamed "Żyleta" after the Polsilver razor billboard that was placed above its center section. The name has been in use since the late 1970s. The razor billboard was removed from the stadium by way of punishment imposed on Legia supporters, after the riots during the 1995 Polish Cup final. Throughout the years Żyleta became more than a section of the stadium, it has become a synonym of the devoted and affectionate support of the football team. Żyleta became famous for its spectacular visual displays, in particular card stunts, prepared by Legia supporters and presented during matches. The quality of support and of the visual displays was often said to be "unquestionably the best in Poland". Thanks to this high reputation, Żyleta is regarded by the football supporters as an "exclusive" section of the stadium. Only the fans who obey the unofficial code of conduct (the key point of which is the non-stop support during the entire football match) are "privileged" to take a seat at Żyleta. However, Żyleta has also attracted some negative attention. Especially during the mid-1990s, it had often been associated with football violence and fanaticism.

The Stadion Wojska Polskiego (pronounced [ˌstadjɔn ˌvɔjska pɔlˈskʲɛɡɔ], English: Polish Army Stadium), officially named Stadion Miejski Legii Warszawa im. Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego (English: The Marshall Józef Piłsudski's Municipal Stadium of Legia Warsaw) in Warsaw, Poland, is an all-seater, highest fourth category football-specific stadium. The venue is located at the 3 Łazienkowska Street in Śródmieście district. It is the home ground of Legia Warsaw football club, who have been playing there since 9 August 1930. The stadium underwent a two-stage, complete reconstruction in the years 2008–2011. Only a small part of the main building facade was preserved from the old construction (with another part being precisely reconstructed). With space for 31,800 spectators it is the 5th biggest football stadium in Ekstraklasa and the 7th biggest in the country. The stadium is equipped with a heated pitch, training pitch, underground parking, sport bar, club museum and other facilities. The stadium, which for decades belonged to the Polish Armed Forces, is currently owned by the City of Warsaw.

The Holy Spirit Cathedral is the main church of the Polish-Catholic Church in the Republic of Poland, located in Warsaw at 2 Szwoleżerów Street, at the intersection with Czerniakowska Street. It was originally built as a military Orthodox church in Warsaw and served this purpose until the majority of the Russian population left the city in 1915. During the interwar period of the 20th century, it functioned as the garrison church of the 1st Regiment of Lancers of Józef Piłsudski. Since 1945, it has been owned by the Polish-Catholic Church, serving as its cathedral. It also functions as the parish church of the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Warsaw.

The 2006 J&S Cup was a Tier II event on the 2006 WTA Tour that run from May 1–7, 2006. It was held in Warsaw, Poland, and was the 11th year that the event was staged. Kim Clijsters won her first Warsaw title and first overall of the year.

Ujazdów (pronounced OO-yaz-doof) is a prominent neighbourhood situated in central Warsaw, the capital of Poland. It is the southernmost part of the Downtown (Śródmieście) district, next to Solec and historical Frascati. The main thoroughfare passing through the neighbourhood is Ujazdów Avenue; the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, the Foreign Ministry and the Belweder Palace are located on or in the vicinity of the street. Ujazdów is an affluent neighbourhood, with villas, palaces and parks comprising most of its area. The most notable landmarks are the Łazienki Park and Palace on the Isle, the 18th century summer residence of Poland's last monarch Stanisław II Augustus.

The Warsaw Open, formerly the J&S Cup, was a women's tennis tournament on the WTA Tour held in Warsaw, Poland. Held since 1995, the tournament was played on outdoor clay courts. The event returned for two years to the WTA Tour in 2009 after a year's hiatus but its slot on the tour calendar was taken over by the Brussels Open from 2011.The first edition of a new tournament was held in July 2021 in Gdynia but in 2022 it was relocated to Warsaw.

Muzeum Zamku i Szpitala Wojskowego na Ujazdowie is a museum in Warsaw, Poland which opened in 1994. It is located in the Ujazdów Castle, in one of the rooms belonging to the Centre for the Contemporary Art, in the north-west tower of the castle. The exhibition includes objects and photographs related to the history of the Ujazdów Castle and the Ujazdów military hospital including portraits of the castle owners and a cornerstone from 1624.

The Symonowicz Palace, also known as the Szymonowicz Palace, and Szymonowicz House, is a baroque palace in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located at 37 Solec Street.

Łazienkowski Bridge (Polish: Most Łazienkowski) is a five-span steel bridge, across the Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. It is 423 m long and 28 m wide, holding three lanes for vehicles each way, dedicated cycling lanes and sidewalks for pedestrians. The name refers to the Łazienki Park and Łazienki Palace, which are located to the south-west of the bridge. The bridge was opened along with the Łazienkowska Thoroughfare on 22 July 1974, after three years' construction. Since 1981 until 1998 the bridge was formally named Most Łazienkowski im. gen. Zygmunta Berlinga (English: General Zygmunt Berling Łazienkowski Bridge) in honour of a Polish military commander who collaborated with the Soviet during World War II, but in practice, this name was almost never used.
