Boulogne-Billancourt (French pronunciation: ​[bulɔɲ bijɑ̃kuʁ]; often colloquially called simply Boulogne, until 1924 Boulogne-sur-Seine, [bulɔɲ syʁ sɛn]) is a wealthy and prestigious commune in the Parisian area, located 8 km (5 mi) from its centre. It is a subprefecture of the Hauts-de-Seine department and thus the seat of the larger arrondissement of Boulogne-Billancourt. Boulogne-Billancourt includes two large islands in the Seine: Île Saint-Germain and Île Seguin. With a population of 121,334 as of 2018, it is the most populous commune in Hauts-de-Seine and most populous suburb of Paris, as well as one of the most densely populated municipalities in Europe.Boulogne-Billancourt is one of the wealthiest regions in the Parisian area and in France. Formerly an important industrial site, it has successfully reconverted into business services and is now home to major communication companies headquartered in the Val de Seine business district.

The Musée des Années Trente (Museum of the 1930s) is a municipal museum specializing in the fine arts, decorative arts, and industrial arts of the 1930s. It is located in the Espace Landowski at 28, Avenue André-Morizet, Boulogne-Billancourt, a western suburb of Paris, France. It is open daily except Mondays and holidays. The closest Paris Métro station is Marcel Sembat on Line 9. The museum was begun in 1939 by Dr. Albert Besançon. After his death in 1983, the museum focused upon the 1930s, and in 1994 was moved into the Espace Landowski and given its current name. It now provides 3,000 m² of exhibition space. Today, the museum holds about 1,500 sculptures, 800 paintings, and 20,000 drawings, plus furniture, ceramics, posters, and original records. It also contains a number of African and overseas works from the former Musée national des Arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie, as well as works by architects Le Corbusier, Tony Garnier, André Lurçat, Robert Mallet-Stevens, Auguste Perret, and Jean Prouvé; designers Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and Jules Leleu; and notable residents including André Malraux.

Marcel Sembat (French pronunciation: ​[maʁsɛl sɑ̃ba]) is a station of the Paris Métro. It is named after the nearby place Marcel Sembat which was named after the journalist Marcel Sembat (1862–1922) who was a director of the socialist review La Petite République from 1892 to 1897 and husband of the painter Georgette Agutte from 1897 until their deaths in 1922. He was also the Minister of Public Works from 1914 to 1916 as well as socialist deputy for the 18th arrondissement of Paris's Grandes-Carrières district from 1893 till his death in 1922.

Billancourt (French: [bijɑ̃kuʁ] (listen)) is a station of the Paris Métro, located in the commune of Boulogne-Billancourt. It is named after the nearby rue de Billancourt, which was in turn named after the former village of Billancourt which was annexed in 1859 into the commune of Boulogne-Billancourt.

Piscine patinoire de Boulogne-Billancourt (lit. 'Boulogne-Billancourt Pool and Ice Rink') is an administrative ensemble consisting of two neighboring but physically separate sports venues located in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine, France, just west of Paris. The ice rink is home to the ice hockey section of multisports organization Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt, which was one of the sport's most prominent West European representatives in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Patinoire de Boulogne-Billancourt is an indoor arena located in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. It is the home arena of the AC Boulogne-Billancourt ice hockey team. The arena opened in 1955.

Boulogne–Jean Jaurès (French: [bulɔɲ ʒɑ̃ ʒɔʁɛs]) is a station on Line 10 of the Paris Métro in the 16th arrondissement. It lies under the Boulevard Jean Jaurès in the commune of Boulogne-Billancourt, which was named after Jean Jaurès (1859–1914), a French Socialist leader, who was assassinated at the beginning of World War I. He is also honoured at Jaurès, on lines 2, 5, and 7. East of this station, the line splits into separate eastbound and westbound sections until Javel–André Citroën.

The bibliothèque Marmottan, located in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a public library bequeathed in 1932 to the Académie des beaux-arts by its founder Paul Marmottan. Dedicated to the First French Empire and open to readers interested in this period, it contains some 25,000 books and periodicals, making it one of the largest Napoleonic libraries in the world.While it regularly hosts scholars in residence, it will also, from 2023, have three apartments for artists whose work will be presented in the exhibition rooms.
