Saint-Leu-la-Forêt (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ lø la fɔʁɛ] (listen)) is a commune in the Val-d'Oise department, in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 19.9 km (12.4 mi) from the centre of Paris.

The Église Saint-Leu-Saint Gilles is a Roman Catholic church on the Rue Général Leclerc in the French town of Saint-Leu-la-Forêt, about 14 kilometers north of Paris. Commissioned by Emperor Napoleon III, the church houses the tomb of his father, Louis Napoleon Bonaparte, King of Holland, as well as those of his two brothers.

It has around 28,000 inhabitants, which makes Ermont one of the most important cities in Val d'Oise. Ermont has experienced rapid urbanization thanks to railway transport and industrialization, with the population of Ermont being just 9000 after the Second World War to now more than 28,000.
