Sociedad Deportiva San Pedro is a Spanish football team based in Sestao, in the autonomous community of Basque Country. Founded in 1923 it plays in División de Honor de Vizcaya, holding home games at Estadio Las Llanas, with a capacity of 8,000 seats. The kit manufacturer is Umbro.

Sestao River Club is a Spanish football team based in Sestao, in the autonomous community of Basque Country. Founded in 1996 it plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 2, holding home games at Estadio Las Llanas, with a capacity of 8,905 seats.

Sestao is a station on line 2 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in central Sestao, in close proximity to the city hall and the Santa María church. It opened on 8 January 2005 and it acted as northern terminus for line 2 until the opening of the Portugalete extension in 2007.There is a station on the Cercanías Bilbao commuter railway network with the same name, but the two stations are not connected.

Sestao is a town and municipality of 27,296 inhabitants located in the province of Biscay, in the autonomous community of Basque Country, northern Spain. It is in the left bank of the Estuary of Bilbao and part of Bilbao's metropolitan area.Sestao was the place of the most important steel industry of Biscay, Altos Hornos de Vizcaya.

The Municipal Conservatory of Sestao or the Municipal Conservatory of Music of Sestao (Spanish: Conservatorio Municipal de Música de Sestao) is a teaching institution, which is devoted to music education. The present ownership belongs to the Sestao City Hall. It was founded in 1912–1914, by the Municipal Music Band of Sestao as a music school in order to equip itself with new musicians who would become part of the municipal band (for this reason it was later given the name of the director of the Municipal Band, Mr. Victor Miranda Zuazua). Its original name is "Municipal Conservatory of Sestao" and that was its official name until the beginning of the 21st century (2000-2002). The most famous student of the Municipal Conservatory of Sestao is Spanish-Italian violinist Felix Ayo.

Portugalete is a station on line 2 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in central Portugalete. Opening on 20 January 2007, it acted as the northern terminus of the line until the line was extended to Santurtzi.There is a station on the Cercanías Bilbao commuter railway network with the same name, but the two stations are not connected.

Portugalete is a town lying to the west of Bilbao in the province of Biscay in the Autonomous Community of Basque Country, northern Spain. The town has 45,766 inhabitants (2019 census) and is part of Bilbao's metropolitan area. It is located at the mouth of the Estuary of Bilbao, on the left bank. Its land area is only 3.21 km², resulting in a population density of 15,908.4 persons/km², the fifth-most densely populated municipality in Spain (following Mislata, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Benetússer, and Santa Coloma de Gramenet). In 1300 Portugalete became the main competitor port for Bilbao, but it lost its predominant position in 1511 when the trade privileges were granted to the Port of Bilbao instead of Portugalete. Despite its name, it is not near the Spanish border with Portugal and its name is not etymologically related with that country: it derives, instead, from a phonetic adaptation of its Basque name (Portu-Ugaldeta) (edges of the port) to the Spanish language.

Lamiako is a station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighborhood of Lamiako, in the municipality of Leioa. The station opened as part of the metro on 11 November 1995, replacing an older station.

The Vizcaya Bridge (Bizkaiko Zubia in Basque, Puente de Vizcaya in Spanish) is a transporter bridge that links the towns of Portugalete and Las Arenas (part of Getxo) in the Biscay province of Spain, crossing the mouth of the Nervion River. People in the area, and even the official website, commonly call it the Puente Colgante (literally "hanging bridge", used for suspension bridge in Spanish), although its structure is quite different from a suspension bridge.

Areeta (Las Arenas in Spanish) is a neighbourhood of Getxo (Biscay, Basque Country, Spain). It is an affluent residential area that was built over the sands of a beach where the Gobela Creek died into a diffuse delta at the mouth of the Estuary of Bilbao in the early 20th century. It is connected to Portugalete at the other side of the firth by the Vizcaya Bridge transporter bridge and offers a marina, a small beach that can unfortunately be polluted, and a monument to Evaristo Churruca, who planned and directed the channelization of the estuary. The Vizcaya Bridge is now a tourist attraction with visitors able to go by lift to the top of the bridge (from where it was originally operated).

Areeta is an underground station on line 1 of the Bilbao metro. It is located in the neighborhood of Areeta, in the municipality of Getxo. The station opened as part of the metro on 11 November 1995, replacing an older overground station.
